Very fast service The meat is very dry, chicken has no flavor. Had to add the sauce and lemon to give it a little bit of flavor but the sauce is too hot so it didn't go well. For the price it is okay to feel disappointed. The orchata is just like a fountain drink not something made at the restaurant so it tastes more like water than anything else. Overall the only reason I gave a 3 stars instead of 2 is because the location is extremely ideal if you are serving for jury duty. You can easily walk to the restaurant and back to the court house. But as far as the food - I don't recommend the chicken or the asada tacos two thumbs down. thumbs down Price was $15 so not bad for bad food. Thought I would give this place a second chance - I placed an order for pickup. I ordered nacho fries with the tomatoes on the side. Once I got there and looked at my food , the nacho fries had all the toppings missing. I asked them why were missing and put in the box on the side to which they responded "you asked for no tomatoes " which was correct however I did not say anything about no sour cream, no guac, or no jalapeños. I would think the instructions were simple enough to understand as I repeated the order 4 times on the phone. Nacho fries, everything on it except tomatoes. She did also want to confirm with me if the tomatoes in the guac are ok to put on the fries to which I responded YES. So I got to give this place 4 stars. Although I only ordered one type of item on the menu they sure do it right, and like some may know chile rellenos are hard to get right, they sure do. The place is just a small whole in the wall, but don't let that detour you. The food is good! Even if I just had to base that on the lunch crowd today (which was large), I like to think one knows what it means if you see many people from all walks of life happily eating at the same establishment. The service was efficient and quick. I guess they are use to lunch crowds being across the street from the courthouse and all. This is a great spot for a quick meal when visiting the Riverside County Court House. I stopped by yesterday during my lunch break at Jury Duty and ordered two tacos (beef and chicken), a side of guac, and a water bottle for $8. The food was yummy, but nothing out of this world. While the lunch was a little pricy for two tacos, you're definitely paying for the connivence of the location being steps from the courthouse. Luckily, the tacos are a decent size! M Taco has a pretty expansive menu with lunch specials, tortas, and all your favorite Mexican dishes. They also has a variety of beverages including refreshing smoothies, horchata, and agua frescas. Since everyone at the courthouse goes on break around the same time (12 pm-1:30 pm-ish) M Taco definitely gets a crowd! Best Breakfast burrito! Hands down one of the best breakfast burritos in Riverside County. We get ours half beans and half potatoes with bacon, eggs and cheese. Doing jury duty. Don't let the line scare you. It was out to the sidewalk with 8 people in front of me out there, and I got my food within 20 minutes. I ordered the garbage burrito with carnitas. This is a great local stop right in the middle of the courts in downtown Riverside. They have a variety of tacos, burritos, sopas and their special quesotacos. The meat selection is birria, pollo, carne, carnitas, and they also have specialty shrimp burritos including bacon-wrapped shrimp burritos. The birria tacos are very good with the fall-apart shredded beef and the tortilla dipped in the sauce and grilled. They give a healthy side of sauce for further dipping. I was called to jury duty in the Riverside court house . I served 2 days. When jurors are excused for lunch between 11:30-12pm the line was always long. I decided to use my 1 hour and 30 minute lunch to go shopping instead of eating at the restaurant. On my last day I arrived back to report to Jury Duty with about 15 minutes to spare. The line was short so I wanted to give it a try. Since I didn't have much time I only order a hard shell chicken taco. I received my taco and a side of salsa fairly quickly. I decided to go back to the court house and see if I could sneak a bite in before being called back to the jury pool. Well the judge in Dept 430 was very timely and we started promptly at 1:30pm I had to stuff my taco in my purse while in the courtroom. The taco had a great aroma that was filing up the courtroom. Well about 2:30pm I was excused from jury service and hurried to my car to take a bite. Even after being in my purse for an hour it was still warm and the shell was still crispy and crunchy. The salsa was full of flavor without all the spice! I will return on the weekend when I have more time. I have a lot of things on the menu that I want to try! read more

Was hoping for authenticity but unfortunately it wasn't there. Had the Huevos a la Mexican plate with huge slices of bell pepper and onions. The beans tasted very much like Rosarita beans with a hint of chorizo. They weren't fresh and definitely tasted refried and old. This is my go to place is I want rolled tacos and an ice cold Michelada. Not very many places make rolled tacos very good. I'm usually not a fan of the tortillas they use or they taste like the frozen rolled tacos you buy at the store. The chicken rolled tacos here are always fresh and they're more like a flauta than a rolled taco. The Michelada is my fave! Whatever they're recipe is for their mix, it is always delicious and thirst quenching! The only down side is they close pretty early and you have to make sure you beat the lunch rush or go after it or you'll have to wait in a long line and probably won't have time to finish eating (if you eat as slow as I do) read more
