M TACOS is across the street from the Historic Riverside Courthouse, conveniently close enough to pop in for a quick bite between sessions. not destined to make my list of the best fast Mex places ever (ate at Lola's in old Carlsbad three times as soon as I got back), but M TACOS is solid and food gets out pretty quickly which is important when you're pressed for time. the FISH BURRITO was a bit of a mess (ate like it was prepared in a blender) but everything else we had was good enough to eat, and the price was right. hope to never spend another moment inside a courtroom, but if I do and it's in Riverside, at least I know where I can go for a quick burrito. read more

They are quick here. Came to the courthouse for jury duty. It wasn't busy yet. Ordered the quesadilla birra and a crunchy beef taco. The quesadilla was very good. I happened to stumble on this hidden gem for lunch while serving my civic duty at the Riverside County Court House. I was hesitant because of the location and that it looks like a "shack" but there quesataco did not disappoint. I ended up going twice in one week. The hours are limited from 6:30-2:30pm The lines generally are very busy during this time so be mindful and plan accordingly. My least favorite was the outdoor seating. I work right next door so I frequently order from here and in the past it has been really great, but unfortunately today was not. I ordered a Carne Asada California Burrito with no beans and no guac, and I got a fries and sour cream burrito. There was almost no carne asada, I kept taking bites to just keep getting fries and sour cream. At the bottom of the burrito there was a small pile of carne asada which is unfortunate when you have to pay an extra dollar for carne asada already. Might have to skip next time. $16 dollars for a sour cream and fries burrito just isn't worth it. I will say the service is always great though. read more

Had to spend sometime at the courthouse and figured I'd pick up lunch here. Looked really neat with the outside seating, t.v's and of course mexican food! Unfortunetly, this was not it. I order a chicken avocado salad since I saw it came with cilantro dressing. Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it. For the price it is okay to feel disappointed. The orchata is just like a fountain drink not something made at the restaurant so it tastes more like water than anything else. Overall the only reason I gave a 3 stars instead of 2 is because the location is extremely ideal if you are serving for jury duty. You can easily walk to the restaurant and back to the court house.
