The meat is good quality, and cooked right and served with something decent (okay, usually potatoes of some sort...). The portions are excellent too! And with plenty of bread available to soak up the juice. On top of that, the decor of the place is really nice. It's Vasastan roadhouse classy. When you see it, you'll get what I mean I think. We needed a respite from the bitter wind and happened to be just right next to this cute place (fyi, for us Americans, the actual business is called "Skeppsbro Bageri). It's right on the water and is a lovely sunny spot with lots of natural light. The ladies behind the counter didn't speak super great English but we got by with some pointing and in the end sat down to a lovely little snack and a coffee. We got an open-faced salmon sandwich that was covered in shaved fennel (so yummy if you like such things). We got a pain au chocolate (chocolate croissant), which was good. And I got this incredible cinnamon roll type pastry that was like a traditional cinnamon roll but with like a hard crunchy honey-ey type outside. It was so yummy. My husband went and got one for himself lol. Anyway, service was great, food was yummy, coffee was good. It was a lovely place to stop.

As for my dish I got the pasta but it wasn't memorable. Lacked salt, flavor, and texture. BUT I will say the whipped cream served with it to be the best bite of the night. Sweet, creamy, and perfectly whipped. We had luck getting a table without reservations and were actually the last to leave. We ordered a yummy cheese plate to start and I had the mussels in white wine sauce. It was lobster season in Stockholm so I couldn't help but order some seafood. The food was really really good. The cheese was selected by the chef and he did not disappoint, giving us a nice variety of cheeses as well as jams/dried fruits to compliment to strong flavors. My mussels were probably the biggest portion I've ever ordered. The sauce was amazing and the fries were unbeatable. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone in the area.

In my travels, I've always been impressed with French bakeries in Southern France and Burgundy, and that's because I think they are better than the Parisian ones. To me though, Fabrique has something else that you don't see, the friendliness and intimacy of a local bakery. The exposed fixtures adds factory like atmosphere and it contrasted well with the soft decor throughout the bakery. I recommend stopping by here after a long day of shopping and grab some hot drinks and a slice of cake. Will return.
