First of all, I don't understand why some give this casino and resort a low rating. We are locals and have been visiting this venue every 2 or 3 months since 2009, and have rarely had an issue. The M Resort is consistently clean, well-maintained, and refreshingly open with some of the friendliest staff of any property in the city. We started with breakfast at Martinelli's Italian Restaurant because it generally serves a superb breakfast. This day was no exception; our waitperson was "Leah" and she is attentive and couldn't have been more responsive and kind. The eggs (over-easy) were perfection, my ham slice was "bone-in" and flavorful. The potatoes, toast, and jam in small glass jars were great... except that my partner ordered the Basic Breakfast with a Steak, medium-rare. The steak was prepared correctly; however, it was just a tough piece of meat, so he was only able to eat about a 3rd of it. It was the only real issue, and if I were the management, I would not offer it. Because the rest of our experience was so positive, it doesn't take our 5 stars away. The slots are fun with a great variety of games. I am a veteran and updated my playing card at the cashier. "Jasmine" was very kind and noticed I was a veteran... and she presented me with an insulated mug, which I didn't expect. A lovely touch! The staff at "Baby Cakes", the bakery shop, were attentive, and the pastries are amazing. We took some home! The gift shop is about to move, and it needs to because it's far too small and we were the only customers at that moment ... However, the staff was delightful, welcoming, and were so nice to chat with. At the front desk, we inquired about the specials they have for locals. We were told that locals have their resort fees waived, so we are now planning a "staycation" in the spring. We love the M Resort, and they are probably in the upper 5 percent of the best properties in Las Vegas, in my opinion. They certainly are for us. read more

As we checked out, we noticed that it was a four-star, Forbes property, and the attention to detail throughout the property exhibits the standards required to be a four-star Forbes property. Ummmm... bed bug problem brewing?! Maybe, so beware. We had friends who got bed bug bites and saw them in their room. To say the staff was useless to help would be an understatement, but the family did get the $35 resort fee for the credited to them and they moved rooms. Then there was the 6:30am alarm drill that shocked everyone. While they said it was a test, there was no test warning until it went off the second time. Many tried calling the front desk for an answer, but the phone just rang. We only got some answers after calling security. Mind you we were here for a National dance competition! For a known test, there was no warning that there would be an alarm... The gambling was fine. The people working the tables were lack luster, no personality, no encouragement to bet... just meh. The buy-ins were cheep though. The restaurants are also meh. No great choices and what they do have is just the same type of food in different restaurants. Baby Cakes pastry shop is nice though! No shopping in the resort. And it's farther from the strip to get to good shopping. Overall the M misses on all the big things. It's dated, elevators don't work - and when they do they are slow, the casino is boring, no shopping, no clubs, nothing special at all. The pool is nice! Very nice in fact. What a joke, 5 day stay... The concierge when asked for things to do said not much but there is a shopping center about 10 minutes away. It took 45 minutes to get a players card, I told the pit boss and he said oh well thats the way it is, tried to eat at the Raiders restaurant 4 times, was told each time 15-45 minute wait when it was way less than 1/2 full..We ate at the breakfast sit down and that was good though. The sandwich place was ok but it was ridiculous to stand in line to order for so long and hearing the guy yell out order numbers, i could hear him from the mid gaming tables, really annoying and so ghetto- you have to be kidding me, who is running the place ???? One would think if you have people trapped in your isolated hotel/casino that you would try and keep them there and make them comfortable..The slots were very tight as well...I would never stay there again and we had free rooms, The Uber taxi rides made it more expensive than it would of been staying on the strip and paying the ridiculous resort fees...My suggestion is Green Valley is the spot, professiinal, attentive, beautiful and definitely accommodating..M is a joke... read more

Had another fun time at the entertainment venue here at the M-Resort. Again the staff is extremely friendly and fun; ticket and drink prices very reasonable; sound and lights good; and seating and stage view good. The Taylor Dayne and Tiffany concert was a blast. Very entertaining, entergetic and fun. Both Tiffany and Taylor are great performers with talented band musiicans (both came out in the audience briefly). I will have to say I was extremely impressed with Taylor's stage performance and her singing. Wow, my mind was blown at how good she is! I hate to write a bad review of this place because this is one of my favorite casinos but I'm sorry it has to be done. First the cocktail waitresses are all phenomenal they truly are the reason I continue to come here and game here they have always enhanced my experience even if I never win here they are wonderful. But guys come on what is going on with the hotel rooms, I got a night to do a little small staycation. Well first the room phone doesn't work had to find the number for the m to call from my phone and ask for the front desk no big deal. They came up fixed it fine. Then the ice machine on our floor was broken had to come up same tech awesome guy fixed that no problem but then we noticed our fridge isn't working. We reluctantly and apologetically called down about hey guys sorry the fridge doesn't work no problem we will send someone up. They didn't. An here's the thing fridge we only cared about it cuz we have a two year old for her milk. It's just disappointing. Maybe it's cuz we had a comp night idk, but do better M really do better. It's funny we were so excited to finally get a room because they're always at capacity and offer comp rooms but you can never use em it's the funniest hotel with its comps for rooms. Maybe the new tower will alleviate some of this. What a mess. A just hire a chef for the Vig deli do it someone who cares about quality and speed because you guys are just pumping food out at rapid paces but come on the quality of stuff is so bad. Look at places like palace station with their oyster bar it's a highlight of the casino. Then I ask for a key and they deactivate all the other keys. This place needs to be bought. It needs new management, not a new tower. Arrived today to find the machine my hubby wanted to play not working. They can't seem to keep their video poker machines working. In this case, we were told that whoever emptied the cash box last night simply hadn't closed the door all the way. If it's your job to empty cash boxes, maybe you should do it properly. Yeah? My favorite machine had a sticky button. I decided to play on it rather than wait for Service to arrive. We had $1700 in tickets to cash before leaving so I walked to the Cashier's Cage and got into the ELITE lane. Only one window was open and it wasn't the ELITE window. The ELITE lane is not well positioned. The Cashier at the far left window, Elvy, is so short that she can't see people standing in the ELITE lane, so she waited on customers in the lane near her, customers who arrived well after I did. There was an employee in the Cage near the ELITE window doing other tasks; her name is Kieria. I asked her if there was anyone working the ELITE window. She told me "No," that the woman at the far left end would take care of me. I said, "Well, she's skipped me twice now. Should I use the ATM machine?" Her answer should have been, "Let me find someone to help you" but instead she said, "That's up to you." No sh$t, Sherlock. So I took the four tickets which totaled $1700 and cashed them at the ATM next to the Cashier's cage. GREAT customer service for your ELITE guests. Not. When I returned to "Nancy's Bar," my husband had a wrinkled $150 ticket. He had hit something while I was gone but the paper had jammed, forcing him to call Service. The shorter, dark-haired, plump male Attendant got the ticket out for him. It's all wrinkled so my husband asked him to cash it for him but he declined to do so and assured my husband that the machines will take it. We tried to put it into his video poker machine, but the machine rejected it. We then tried to put it into my video poker machine which also rejected it. On our way out, we tried to put it into a bill breaker/ATM and it got rejected yet again! The plump male Attendant is so darn lazy. We're here multiple times a week. We know who works (Dominga in Housekeeping) and who is lazy. This guy is lazy. He should have cashed the wrinkled ticket for my husband -- who had waited for me at Nancy's Bar instead of going to the Cashier with me because he can barely walk today. He has not-so-bad walking days and really bad walking days. Today was a really bad walking day. We were trying to minimize the number of steps he'd take. But as long as the Lazy Man doesn't have to put out any effort, it's all good. NOT. This place really sucks. Just today, one of the regulars told us how much the M has gone downhill these past three years. I agree. Time to start going to Green Valley Ranch. read more

The M is a great local casino. It's always so clean. I love coming to the pool here during pool season. Right now it's only $15 for locals Monday thru Thursday! Not bad. They also have so many nice restaurants to dine at in here. They have a yummy dessert/coffee spot in here called baby cakes. They have really good gelato and the best cheesecakes and fruit tarts. My husband and I have also stayed overnight here plenty of occasions. The rooms are really beautiful and spacious. Whenever we stay here we request a room that overlooks the pool and mountains. It's a gorgeous view. We always recommend this hotel to our friends that come up to visit us in Vegas. read more

I have not stayed here before. The last time that I was here was to eat at their Studio B Buffet back in December 2013. What brought me back was to charge the Tesla at the supercharger station located in their uncovered surface parking lot. A lot of that parking lot has been fenced off, but it was still easy to make my way over to the resort/casino to pass the time while I waited for my car to finish charging. Even as a Chargers fan, I must say that the casino floor and the surrounding area looked pretty spectacular and very high class. I would definitely like to return to check out Anthony's Prime Steak & Seafood restaurant in the near future. read more

Paid $35 for the 4th of July pool event. Everything was great except for the foods. It was horrible. Over priced , no burger, no hot dogs, just pizza, tacos, quesadillas. This is not Cinco De Mayo M. Simply put, the customer service was great however our room had the filthiest carpet ever. The chairs in the pool area were nasty with bird poo. Can't they hose them down. They have removed many umbrellas and seating,. The place a sunny sunny mess. The cabanas are very small in the family area. Recently returned from The M Resort and Spa and again 10+ stars! The customer service was super outstanding, again. You have to try it to believe it. I was taken back by the friendly and personal service extended by all the staff. For example, I called for room service and I was addressed by my surname. Wow! I did not feel rushed in ordering and the food came with a happy server. OMGSH. All staff contacts smiled and greeted us. I'm so used to the contrary of service at another hotel. Lost money, but came home happy and relaxed! lol I felt so valued and so happy to find a new home away from home. Pool closes at 6:30pm!!! Enough said for my one star review. The beds in the rooms are not very comfortable. You are on the verge of feeling the springs. We had a rollaway bed brought to our room for our daughter and you can feel every spring location in that mattress. This hotel has very cheap beds! Sorry, not really sure how they call this a luxury resort, other than the prices. I had a double queen room, with a "mountain" view, basically saw a highway and a large vacation lot. The room was decent sized with a large bathroom, double sinks and separated shower and toilet which would be convenient if traveling with someone. There is a TV in mirror but only one channel worked so I did t use it. The room has a mini fridge but would have been nice to have in room coffee. The room was starting to show some wear and smelled of cigarette smoke so it was a bit unpleasant. There are numerous on site restaurants, one wasn't open, and the Italian place was a no because the staff were so rude. The gift shops are cramped, expensive, and for a resort lacking in selection. The workout area is nice but only open during spa hours so it limits when you can workout depending on your schedule, very inconvenient. Considering this is a "resort" and they charge you almost $27 a day for a resort fee, it doesn't feel like there are amenities that make it a resort, even the pools and outdoor areas were closed. It was a disappointing, overpriced experience, very disappointing. read more

Wasn't sure what to expect on a visit last week - hadn't been here in many years. Lobby was impressive with a big Christmas display, but that's about where the impressive aspect ended - the rest you could file under "fine." Restaurant options in the daytime are next to none - when around during that time, you're essentially forced to The Vig counter next to the sportsbook. Mixed bag in terms of quality. Speaking of, the sportsbook is fairly large, though one annoyance was that there aren't enough boards to cover all the odds, so if you're looking for a particular game, you might be sitting for a bit waiting for your line, and only then, it lasts maybe 2-3 seconds. The casino floor is slot heavy (as is the case most places these days) with roughly half of the table games staffed. (At least that was the case when I'd head down) They've leaned HEAVILY into the Raiders, with signs galore and a shuttle to games. The buffet I remember being here is apparently M.I.A., which is a shame as (though it was long ago) I enjoyed it in the past. The biggest thing I remember, though, is the lack of energy in the place. Didn't matter the time of day. There were plenty of people around...but it was almost too quiet. Odd. I'll likely return again, in time, just to see how it's evolved. read more

As a local I use to visit the M Resorts weekly. I would also bring my family when visiting. Had to go out of town for family issues. Returned and dropped about 800.00 in the same day. I asked why I didn't recurve my normal promotions and are a courtesy as a loyal customer. A host name Dave said QUOTE " we have locals that drop $1000,00 of dollars sorry I can't accommodate you 1 ticket worth 56.00 for a concert this weekend. Superb customer service experience at the M Casino Check-in desk, courtesy of Thalita, who was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. In fact, this same representative, Thalita, checked us in several times, and we had great results and excellent service each time. Unfortunately, on Tuesday, 11/26/24, Reya, the Baby Cakes manager, was rude and unprofessional. She was too lazy to check with the front desk (reservations) to make sure that my name was on record for the room charges. She refused service, took my coffee and Danish practically from my hand, and embarrassed me in front of many other guests in the line. Reya is far from reaching the excellence in customer satisfaction that M Casino is known for. Ultimately, Dimitar, from the reservations desk, called Reya, clarified the confusion, and apologized! Thanksgiving day 1.30pm, went to Raiders grill for lunch with my kids. Ordered filet medallions. Tough time cutting, dull knife or whatever. All 4 pieces had runs of fat through the middle. Never have I ever had a filet with large strings of fat. Service was good. That was a one and done trip. read more

Summertime update. Came back now that it's nice and hot to check out the M Pool and I can say I was pleasantly impressed. There was a slight line to get in and was separated by two lines. The pools were beautiful and warm. My one complaint was how many children were running, jumping, and obnoxiously splashing around in the shallow pool. I may have to check out the DayDream Pool next door next time that's 21+. Parking is still free on property with a parking garage. The hotel is well kept and there are elevators for use as well for those that need assistance. Will be returning :) read more

I flew in with a group of guys and we hadn't been to The M since January of 2020. We were really looking forward to our return after that long stretch. As usual, we booked a suite as a gathering place along with regular rooms. We brought thousands of dollars worth of wine with us, but unfortunately, we forgot a corkscrew. We figured the suite would have one. Wrong. A couple of us went looking for one and were disappointed. The shop that sells wine doesn't sell corkscrews and the front desk was no help. Ridiculous. On the second day, we had the front desk program two more suite keys with explicit instructions to not deactivate the initial two. Guess what happened? The guys with the original keys were locked out. There wasn't a lot going on at the M and I missed the vibe that I remember. All of the guys that played slots said that the machines just ate their money. Gambling is entertainment for us, and we expect to lose, but usually we would come away with at least a couple of stories about significant wins that were eventually lost. Not this time. The lack of fun makes it easy to focus on corkscrews and key cards. The bright spots are that the staff was very nice and our dinner at Anthony's was very good. We were all pleased to see that Eddie still works there as he is a rockstar. Anyway, we were scheduled to leave on Monday, but after another disappointing gambling session on Sunday morning , the guys were asking about leaving a day early. That was it. We had the jet fueled and were wheels-up by noon. The M sent me a survey, but I didn't complete it in time, so I am posting here. While I don't personally know any Raiders fans, I would recommend The M for that demographic. For most everyone else, you would probably have a better time at a hotel/casino on the strip. read more

The food was amazing- well, I only ate the salmon and it was phenomenal. The Raiders logo is everywhere, so there's no question as to what team is running that place! I could see the Raiders training facility from my window and actually drove over to the area. Don't let the reviews fool you, The Strip literally dead-ins right in front of the resort and 15 is right there, too. I rented a car and it only took me maybe 15 mins to hit The Strip. Other perks: Take Las Vegas Blvd (The Strip) and you'll pass a mall, shopping centers, and an outlet mall. read more

I love coming to the m. It's not crowded and they have great concerts. It smells really good. I love this turkey sandwich at baby cakes please never get rid of it. The pool is nice but it's gone downhill a little bit. It is the end of the season but my friend and I went on two occasions recently as locals and the ground is dirty from old spilled drinks and the side tables weren't clean. It wasn't very crowded. The food comes in a plastic bag and to go containers even if you get a daybed. We got a daybed the second time and it's wicker and was falling apart and the Velcro from the straps weren't sticking. Our server, bartender and lifeguard who helped us were really nice! Hopefully they update the furniture for next year. read more
