D/T 1/29 2:00 PM Dr. Brook is personable, professional, and…read morehighly competent. He is clearly conscientious, and errors on the side of caution which is what you want in a doctor. The staff was a bit more of a mixed bag. Jessica the MA, was very effective, alleviated concern, and took the time to explain the next steps carefully with significant detail. She had a gleaming personality, and efficient in her tasks which included: patient history, procedure assistance, x-ray, and patient checkout. The remainder of the office staff was friendly, and processed me quickly. I didn't sit for more than a minute before I was whisked to the back. The billing office worked to effectively and accurately use my insurance, and charged a fair rate on those items excluded. Here were the errors and opportunities: 1. They said that they were going to send the new patient documents out, and I had to call to re-request these... They are detailed (good), and highly redundant (bad). You will need to budget about 10-15 minutes to complete these, so ask to have them emailed to you. 2. The prescription was not called in initially, so I had to call the office again to re-request these as well. 3. The directions were good, but should have accounted for once you got in the building. On the whole I definitely recommend this office, if for nothing more than the quality of care. The outlying issues are small potatoes in comparison to the quality of the medical professionals supporting your efforts in recovering.

The Pros: Dr. Brook is great, and the nursing assistants…read moreare wonderful. They are the reason I go back. The Cons: The operational staff messed up my appointments several times with no apologies. Additionally, the forms they require be sent back to them via email violate HIPAA requirements (see: http://examples.yourdictionary.com/examples-of-hipaa-violations.html). Finally, while the Plano office is new and clean, the Dallas office is not as clean which worries me when having an invasive procedure. In Summary: If you're looking for a great foot doctor, I'd recommend Dr. Brook. The staff and office issues are easily fixable.

Wow...what a relief!…read more I went to a PrimaCare 2 years ago for an ingrown toenail and they cut it out. Painful process and I've hoped to not repeat it. Many tears shed on that one. Well...it was time again..same toe, along with another foot issue. Did not want another PrimaCare experience, so I found Dallas Podiatry Works. I went in expecting a similar painful experience. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, so that helped a bit. They needed X-Rays and having them done in-office was a nice touch. Dislike having to go different places for these things. The All-In-One is my preference. Anna, the prep nurse was nice and set me at ease for the ingrown removal. Dr. Northcutt is very thorough in asking questions and provided lots of insight and paperwork to explain what was going on and the next steps...sorry, pun intended. Once the doc started, we talked for a bit...his bedside manner is great...Anna came back in and the doc was done. I didn't even know he had done the procedure as I opted for the chair view blocker. Nothing like my first experience...it was literally painless and done quickly. The checkout was effortless and I was on my way...slower than when I came, but I was well taken care of. Bottomline: No one WANTS to go the foot doctor, but when you do...Dallas Podiatry Works is THE place. They have a Dallas and Plano location. The Dallas Office located at Medical City is clean, staff are friendly, Dr. Northcutt is GREAT, and I was taken care of. For all my foot needs, I will be back.

The vibes were weird so I'm not coming back. I tripped over…read morea stumpf playing golf on hole five at sherrill park and sprained both of my feet. I came in to check to make sure nothing was broken. When I booked the appointment, they read my info to confirm everything was correct. When I came in my address and phone number were wrong. The receptionist then called me twice at every hour after I left the office to check my info again and to verify my pharmacist again. The doctor never called over my prescription over to the pharmacist so I'm not going to remind her to do her job. Should have been a red flag when I was able to get an appointment quickly.
