Since I am a big guy, I would have to be fitted for a custom "rigid" brace. My surgeon wanted the brace fitted before I left the hospital. Michael and a helper came to my hospital room to "cast" my leg for the new brace. The process was very interesting and they conducted themselves with incredible professionalism. Unfortunately, due to the rush, the brace was not ready by the time I was released from the hospital so wore my Immobilizer home, the new brace would be delivered and fitted at my home the next day. What incredible service I received. I settled into getting comfortable wearing my new brace when I was up walking around in the house. A few days later I needed a couple of adjustments in the brace. We called, received an immediate appointment and headed over to their offices in Fort Worth's hospital district. Their offices are very inviting and comfortable and Baker has an incredibly caring staff. I am so glad my physician pointed us towards this company for my brace.

Front desk staff are cheerful and busy getting things done, and Aaron, the resident who created and fitted my AFO, is the absolute best! More to come on this! i was originally charged and threatened with collection agency for an ice…read moremachine after my 2nd TKR procedure last October. when I called the first & second times, i originally explained i never received an ice machine when I left the hospital. it took 2 months of calls and complaining before the Brace Center simply sent me a statement with a $ -0- balance; however - a couple of weeks later, i received a claim notification from my insurance company, (Blue Cross/Blue Shield), who confirmed they received a claim from the Brace Center for said ice machine. The claim was subsequently paid 100%. As of today, the Brace Center appears to have defrauded my insurance company and, to date - I do not have, nor have I received the ice machine. On last attempt to call & ask the Bedford location, to find out if I can pick up the ice machine, or if it can be shipped to me - since it was paid for by my insurance company - i was simply given a name & number of someone else to call, (Parker). no explanation, no acknowledgement and clearly no accountability. Follow for outcome - as I will commit my experience to social media as well as my local news affiliate for consumer rights as as well possibly an attorney for consumer rights and insurance fraud.

I set up an appointment through Instagram. I went to the location where they used to be at. I tried calling to let them know I was running late but know one answered the phone? I walked in, within a few a minutes a gentleman said, he would get me someone to help me. Another lady told me to have a seat. This nice lady that was so friendly and talkative help me with my fiiting. She was very resourceful and explained everything to me. She was also very understanding. I apologized for being late. They have to see where the pain is coming from so, you have to step in ink then step on a white piece of paper to see where all the pressure is going on your feet. Then you step on a Digital Foot Scanner. This will get an exact measure of your foot and find out your pressure points. It looks so cool. Next, you place your foot on the Med Massager. This helps stimulate circulation in your feet. It feels so great! While this is happening the Arch Support Specialist finds the right arch support for you. She allowed me to try 3 different arches. They were uncomfortable except for the last one. She explained, it's a 3 step system where you have buy three different arches, in order for you to feel relief from your feet. Sorry, I'm not going to do that. It's just a waste of my time. The expense of purchasing all 3 arches is outrageous! That does not include the cost of Brooks Tennis shoes that they recommend. Even if I buy one arch support, it's half a grand and it's not going to help my feet so why waste my time and money. It's really nice inside. They have nice photos, a small waiting room and there's no odor either. Im really surprised w all the feet that travel through there. It was a really neat experience. I am grateful for that. However, it was really time consuming and a lot of information all at once. The Good Feet Store had a good Arch Support Specialist, ambiance and a fresh overall appearance but, it was not so good with their prices. So, I'm gonna walk by a Goodfeet store with aching feet.
