Although their price list is a bit more expensive than I'm used to, I booked an appointment anyway because new customers get 30% off. Street parking is hilariously easy compared to the Bayside/Flushing salons I'm used to frequenting. My technician determined that an oval lash map would suit my eye shape best. I decided on a C14 mink set, and was guided into a private area closed off from other customers by actual walls rather than thin curtains. The bed was so comfortable, I fell asleep within a few minutes of starting! Halfway through both eyes, she removed the tapes and gave me a mirror to confirm that I liked how it looked so far. The rest of the appointment went by quickly, it only took about an hour total to apply 110 pieces per eye. As a testament to their work's longevity, ZERO pieces fell out during the first week and they still looked good (slightly thinner, minimal gapping) 3 weeks later when I came back for my fill. Definitely choose mink over silk, it's longer lasting due to how lightweight and soft they are!

Some of the girls at work had been raving about this salon, and since I'm new to the area, I decided to give them a try. I wasn't sure if they were appointment-only, so I called, and the sweetest lady answered the phone and was kind enough to squeeze me in for their last appointment of the day. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I was immediately greeted, and I honestly could not get over how beautiful, clean, and inviting the salon was. The level of kindness from everyone was something I haven't experienced at a nail salon before. I believe the woman who helped me when I came in was named Tammy or Thalia -- please forgive me for not remembering! She was SO sweet. She took the time to explain the different services they offer and even pre-scheduled my next appointment for me. The fact that she took the initiative to do that, while also accommodating me at the very end of their day, meant so much. I had Nuri for my Russian manicure, and she was absolutely wonderful! My nails were hurting badly from the crack, and she was incredibly gentle and patient with me. The amount of care she put into cleaning my cuticles was impressive. She filed and shortened my nails exactly how I wanted them, and I never once felt rushed. You can tell they genuinely take pride in their work. And the COLOR SELECTION! The choices are endless. I don't know how I'm ever supposed to pick a color! This was also my first experience with a Russian manicure, and I genuinely don't think I can go back to a regular manicure now. Russian manicure is definitely the way to go! Another huge plus for me is that they accept credit cards as well as Zelle/Venmo. As a corporate girly who is constantly on the run and rarely carries cash, I absolutely appreciate that! The salon is also conveniently located not too far from the hospital, which makes it even better for me. I'm naturally very shy, but these ladies made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. You can tell they are incredibly hardworking and truly care about their clients and the experience they provide. I already can't wait for my next appointment! They also were not as sanitary, as they didn't clean all the tools prior to use. This is the biggest issue because they didn't clean their tools and cut my fiancé's skin, which is leading to a deep cut with an infection. I wouldn't recommend coming here as the experience was horrible, it was overly priced for the work that was done as well.
