She didn't even bother drying the blood until I told her I was bleeding. I asked her to file a couple of nails more so they're even length with the others. She got angry and said I should've asked for a cut instead. Then proceeds to just clip the nails where they became shorter than the original ones I was trying to match. Overall unpleasant experience. She didn't even apologize and had a lot of attitude. There are 5 other salons within walking distance. No need to pay money here just to suffer. My gel also lifted 5 hours the same day.

(Other neighborhood salons will sterilize their tools like Sway, but then the manicurist will use the same nail file for each patron.) One of the reasons I love Sway is that it's like a spa without the high prices... ($12 manicure, $23 pedicure) Relaxing classical music plays in the background and there are 'quiet' emoji signs. Today it wasn't too busy and my manicurist gave me a complimentary 5-minute back massage while I was waiting for my nails to dry. And the hand dryers have a heat option, which is especially nice in the winter. My only issue with Sway is the fact they're not open on Sundays, which often is the only time I find to get a manicure since I work full-time. Staff is so friendly and welcoming and apologized profusely for making me wait a few minutes which I haven't ever experienced before either, the apologizing part I mean lol. Loved how my gel pedicure on my Flintstone toes came out and when I asked if they could do a quick color gel on my ragged looking finger nails last minute, they happily obliged. The owner is an active part of the salon and I saw that she made sure everything was running well. My manicurist kelly was very nice and gave great advice on which color to choose for what my needs were. They made sure I was able to sit next to my friend who came just to accompany me and gave us good conversation! I had come from the hospital and had nail discoloration and the team gave their thoughts on which color would best help me feel good about my nails again.
