It's a very old 90s spot. It's also not so clean. I had to request them to clean the equipment on my nails prior to being used. In addition, I called another occasion and said can I come in 15 mins for a manicure and the guy said okay. I came in and he was like oh you called here? I was a customer of Choi's for 28 years, I loved her work, our friendship and her care she gave my nails. I was sad to see her retire. BUT, on another note the new owners Tony and Linda are amazing. They have updated the salon to began. They are also very caring and work hard to please their customers. Linda did a good job on my nails. Tony's hands are amazing, I have had many foot massages and each one is better than the other. Looking forward to my next one. I am also looking to have a back massage with Tony, his hands are powerful. Hope to have a long relationship with Tony and Linda. I came here with my cousin and we both wanted an appointment simultaneously. There was only one nail tech but she still took her time and yet did both our manicures in an efficient amount of time. We got SNS (powder dip) and I was impressed with the dipping process and the color is very bold and looks great. She did a great job dealing with our very short nails too haha. I went here yesterday for a massage and the guy was super considerate and did a great job my only complaint was I wish it lasted longer and he ask if I was comfortable little things like that is amazing so I came here today to find out he was my tech for my pedicure gave me choices and did my nails when he did the file thing and clip pick that kind of hurt but it was bearable and he did a massage that was great wish he did longer on my heels and wish he did my legs but not a big deal they all are super friendly if I ever have to come back I would come back here the only complaint about the whole salon was if they are short staffed they will do multiple customers which is great so you are not waiting but it sucks for the other person to have their service stop halfway and wait for the tech to come back otherwise wonderful place read more

The staff is very professional, talented, and creative. The new manager John and his staff are very accommodating.. I had a manicure and pedicure fantastic job.. new pedicure massage chairs, and foot tub coverings.. They are taking extra precautions sterilizing all of there equipment..they are definitely going the extra mile to make you feel safe. First things first.. I sat with Kim... pros: shaved down my nails to look thinner and more natural... That is all... Cons: 1. Although I called before going, to ensure they did acrylic refills, which they assured me they did, they proceeded to use gel assuring me "it's ok, gel betta" I asked are you sure you can mix the two? She said yeah it's fine... 2. Tech inexperienced with drill, burned and nipped skin many times... 3. Did NOT push back cuticles... I went there Saturday.. And am already showing growth as though I haven't had a filling in weeks... 4. I sat next to the hot towel container... As soon as one of the girls opened it, I smelled the horrible smell of mold.. When I looked at the container there was black mold all over it!!! 5. My cuticles are all beat up between the lack of drill experience and use on nail file on my skin. 6. Almost all of my nails are crooked.. If any one is wondering why I didn't get up and leave it's because I had less than an hour on a Saturday evening to be somewhere and didn't know they were going to use gel instead of acrylic until after my nails were filed and preped... I went there Saturday around 6 and by Tuesday I noticed my nails lifting. It is now Friday and SEVEN of my nails are lifting... Will never go back simply because they lied to me.. This place is great. I got silk extensions done by Choi herself, a sweet, meticulous woman who knows what she's doing. I originally wanted gel extensions, but she explained that silk might be a better option in terms of affordability and the natural look I was going for. I couldn't be more pleased with the way they came out, and this is coming from a low maintenance girl who generally avoids fake nails. My mom and I went on a Saturday, and although we were seated immediately, it took a while because customers ask specifically for Choi. She paused a few times to answer the phone and do eyebrows, but she always asked first if I was okay with it. I would recommend going on a weekday, making an appointment first, or going on a rainy day. They're really great people though, so the time wasnt an issue. And Sarah did a great job on my mom's acrylic tips!! $50 for silk extensions with color. And you have to tip in cash. read more

I came to this darling for the first time today, I recently moved into the neighborhood and the reviews lured me in I called in advance to see if they did fills and how much she quoted me 20 for fills and 15 for pedi...I'm like ok let me make an appt I went over and the place was empty choi greeted me and started on my nails...Rossi started the water for the pedi...I wanted my nails to look a certain way and when I explained that to choi she started putting in her own opinion and told me if it's too much for her she won't do it...really?! I wanted to leave but by then she already started cutting my nails :( The pedi was awesome Rossi did a great job and listened to what I wanted and needed Overall it was ok...I ended up spending 60 bucks with tip the pedi was 25 cuz I got the spa pedi and the nails were 25 because I got two lines on my nails I thought designs simple ones are usually free, and then I asked for quick dry she charged me for that too..ridic...I mean I just spent 50 here I won't be going back but it is a ok place read more

Stopped in for a quick and simple manicure and had a great experience. The ladies working were nice and did a great job with my hands and nails. $7 for a manicure, and they even give a little back massage when your nails are drying. I don't get anything extensive done so I cannot speak for that, but definitively a great value for what I got done. It is now $18 for a mani/pedi mon-wed. Super nice employees. When I went it was completely empty. I didn't like that 2 employees worked on me, just means double tipping, but I appreciate the attention. Not much in the colors department, if I come back I would probably bring my own. This place was so-so. Every time I went it got worse. I've been to many in the NY/NJ area during my single and married years. This place had good reviews and the prices are definitely better than Fine nails nearby. But...where don't start? The venue and decor are Outdated to say the least. I wish I could say Rossi? Rosa? And Choi were friendly enough to make up for it. But they aren't. I've been here several times and brought a friend and my daughter on various occasions. My friend wanted a simple design on her 2 ring fingers. A coat of sparkle polish for goodness sakes and they said they couldn't do it. Too complicated! Really?!! The more I went the more rude they became. And I am a very friendly person so I was astounded. The LAST time I was there Sarah who was doing my gel manicure tapped her hand loudly on the LED lamp to get my attention and shouted "hallo!!!" Rude. I'm not mad. Mostly disappointed. Now i desperately needed an acrylic fill in and I was told 'yes we do acrylic" i also liked the price. Keep in mind they were already taking off my nail polish when i answered. So we filed down and that's when another issue came about. She was filing my nails and cuticles with the machine and accidentally filed my skin as well. She apologized for that one nail and continued. Same thing happened with every other nail. I was bleeding from two fingers. When she passed the alcohol over my nails each one burned. And as we all know that means skin was torn and pulled where it shouldnt have. So i forgave the accidents several times. Then came time to fill in. THERE WAS NO ACRYLIC. To sum it up i got silk wrap. She had given me most of the service already so what was i to do but stay and ask for acrylic once more. 'I'm allergic to acrylic' is what she said as she was already putting the product on my nail. I was not rude and i did not yell. I let her finish up and paid FULL price plus tip. Whats done is done. The people are nice but really wouldnt recommend for acrylic or any other strong chemicals because they're allergic. regular mani and pedi look fine. From what i've seen. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for years. Sometimes I make appointments or I would walk in. I get the same service a fill in and pedicure. So this Saturday I walk in like usually I needing a fill in and pedicure. It's was not busy 2 other ladies were getting their nails done. I was told to sit in chair for pedicure as I was getting my pedicure I was I could not get my fill in right way because there was someone who had an appointment so I continue getting my pedicure as my pedicure was drying I was told if I could wait or come back in 1 hour. I told choi that I would because I live in the area. Came back in 1 hour she was still not done had to sit for 20 minutes more. Starting getting my fill in choi had to stop and wax the same customer. I am also a paying customer and I do spend good money in the nail salon. I find this not good customer service. I work in retail I know what customer service is.
