Update March31 - The team from Trinity reached out to me. They were very responsive and addressed…read moremy concerns and promised they wanted to do better. I was very appreciative to have them reply and will definitely continue going here. If they care enough to try to make things right that means something to me. So disappointed finally made my first ever Derm appt because I was terrified to see how bad things were with my skin. Dr. Champlain gave me a thorough exam and froze 3 spots. We discussed a small cyst I was bothered by and she suggested that she could quickly easily excise it and it would be nominal on cost. Great as I checked out I had her people verify my benefits and give me an estimate for the cyst procedure. They said you have great insurance! At most your out of pocket will be $68! Whiz Bang let's do it i said. That procedure was done February 12. Today March 23rd I got a bill for $408 after insurance adjustments. WTF! Their insurance verification person failed to account for the 2 count them 2 stitches she would need to complete the procedure. Those 2 bad boys cost me $222! Those 3 spots I had frozen guess what those were $115! Oh yeah the gal got the amount wrong for my out of pocket. It was $69 which is fitting cause I got whiz banged over a barrel! This doesn't even account for the 2 $50 co-pays for each visit. Verify in writing what your visit will cost you before you set foot in the office and if they start freezing stuff hopefully they might stop and sOhhh BTW each freeze costs $35 just in case your interested or might be on a budget.

Wow! So many problems! Called and asked if they got my referral for my upcoming visit and they said…read moreyes. Get to my appointment and they tell me they don't have it. Rescheduled, not sure why. They checked me in and took my insurance card. Dr. Curtiss was with me maybe 10 minutes. He looked at a rash on both sides of my neck and said it was from being in the sun. I explained that Im never in the sun and he just smiled. I checked out and they told me i didnt owe anything. Then a couple of days later I get a phone call and text telling me I was a no show at my appointment. I call them and they tell me they corrected it. The other day I get a bill for $604! I called my insurance and they tell me they havent even processed the claim even though on the bill it states that they have and the $604 is my responsibility. They tell me they should have collected my $60 co pay when I went. I called the billing office for Dr. Curtiss. They said that I still show I was a no show. They said the claim HAS NOT been processed and to throw the bill away as I will only be charged my co pay. Wow! They definitely have issues there. Seems like they are running a big assembly line for patients too. Get em in and out quickly. The only good thing is that I was prescribed cream that helped. I called and canceled my upcoming appointment. Never again! Hope this review helps someone else so they don't have to experience this nightmare!

Extensions just go to voicemail. Went in and spoke to a Leticia, who was extremely rude. My contact information was originally put in incorrectly the day before when I had to go in because no one answers the phone and she had no patience to assist me with further issues. The Portal shows I have two appointments scheduled and she couldn't care less about that. "Don't know a thing about the Portal" was the response. Didn't offer any other help with my issue. I haven't even had my appointment yet but it's already been a nightmare dealing with this office.

He then asked for any concerns I have. I mentioned to him I have some Cherry Anginomas on my skin and he can remove them easily. He quoted me $150 for 14 spots. I decided to the light solution on 2 test spots. I paid the full $150 which is for a 14 spots (I thought I would pay like $22 for the 2 spots only). After I paid, I spoke to his PA/Assistant and she knew I wanted to treat the other 12 since I already paid for it. She spoke to the Dr. and he did not have enough time to treat the rest at the time and asked me to make a new Appt, and she would make sure it is documented I paid in full. The entire front desk heard it. Today, was my new appointment, and I was told by another PA that I need to pay another $150 to treat the rest, despite what I was told on Tuesday. SO, they could have taken care of the other 12 spots on Tuesday if they really wanted to, but in order to charge me again, they asked me to make a new Appt and lied to me. What a SCAM/FRAUD this place is. I already disputed the charge. STAY AWAY from this office. The American Greed at its best. Please go elsewhere for your dermatology needs

She walked into the exam room and within less than five minutes begins to tell my mother she should have a walker, she has Parkinson's, my mom should double up on her medication, and see a physical therapist. She then proceeded to try to complete a muscle test which I asked her not to do as this had no bearing on why we were there. We were there to have two spots on my mother's face checked. I couldn't believe what I was hearing or the entire experience. The way this Dr. so blaise stated all the of the above-mentioned things with spending less than 10 minutes with her and it had nothing to do with why we were there. I left discouraged and upset so I called the office, and they stated they would have corporate call me. Dr. Lyde called me back to apologize but then stood by how she conducted herself and well within her scope as a doctor she has to look at the big picture. Then she said we should find another doctor and proceeded to hang up on me. I am filing a formal complaint and leaving this review as I don't believe any doctor should tell someone to double up on their medication, especially with not being informed of their medical history and not their physician. What would have happened if I wasn't there and she went home and double up her medication?!?

Hmmm...where do I start?…read more 1. I'm taken back to the room and ridiculed for not having them give me a flu shot (sorry but not injecting poison for a 3% success rate) 2. Dr. Rachel Quinby-Graves and her assistant making fun of me for telling her that I was putting tea tree oil on the spot I was concerned about...it's only worked for thousands of years but yaaaaa SCIENCE (eye roll) 3. HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER!!! Rude is an understatement. 4. I have her remove a small mole above my eyebrow. When I take the bandage off the very next day, THE MOLE IS STILL THERE!!!!!!! I'm hit with a bill for hundreds of dollars for something that is still very much there. Hmmm...curious who's mole she sent to get biopsied? 5. I call billing...explain I'm not paying for the mole removal or biopsy, but happy to pay for the visit. The lady is very kind and says she needs to speak with the office about how they want to proceed. They call me back WEEKS later and basically tell me to F off and that the bill needs to be paid in full. So ya...maybe go to ANY other doctor and practice. I posted a pic that I just took where my mole is very much there. I am reporting the practice and the doctor. I hope it was worth it for them. Dr. Quinby-Graves, you suck

It's tucked back from the road in a strip of offices, so use your GPS to find it. There's a roadside sign, but it's not super obvious and there are several business names on it. They remodeled the front lobby / waiting area in the last year, and it looks snazzy. The front desk folks are nice enough, as are the checkout folks. I may not be the mole guy from Austin Powers, but I inherited a lot of moles from both Mom and Dad. They've both had several removed, and I started having moles lopped off in high school. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone and everyone visit a dermatologist and have their moles and freckles checked out. Skin cancer is the #1 cancer, and it's easy to be proactive about. North Texas Dermatology has done a good job at helping me keep up with this proactive care, and I appreciate that! I've almost always seen Pam Murray. She's excellent, and she does a good job at making a dude not feel too self conscious about stripping down almost naked to having every square inch of skin checked out. Any mole removal she's performed has been completely painless. All in all, no complaints. Good place. Easy 5 stars.
