My brother recently discovered when he was remolding  that the  "Licensed Electrician" Dale illegally spliced the 3 wire into the old 2 wiring system by connecting the ground into the old Neutral wires not even using a junction box. This type of work is deplorable and put my brother in his family at risk to an electrical fire.  Dodrill refused to correct. The wiring has since been replaced (not by Dodrill).

He found the problem, fixed the problem, checked several other components, cleaned up as he went along. He was very efficient, courteous, and knowledgable. After testing the unit, and checking incoming and outgoing temperatures, he asked if I had any other problems or questions. What more could you ask ? This work was still covered under the 10 year warranty I was given when I purchased this unit from Economy. ( 9-1/2 years later ) The first problem ever.

Service call was 65, and as a journeyman its 76/hr plus the apprentice is like 50 something, so figure about 130/hr with both of them there. If you have to call an electrician, these two guys are where it's at. Also, no credit cards accepted, cash or check only. I didn't know that before hand but Duane let me drop it off later that day to his shop in Crown Point.

I knew it wasn't going to be a quick and easy job. My primary concern was that the wiring wouldn't be visible, which would detract from my home's appearance. It was raining on the scheduled installation date, and I fully expected a call from Foster asking to reschedule. To my complete surprise, Nate and Joe showed up promptly on time, ready to tackle the task. The siding material on my house is thick, hard as a rock and pretty tough to drill through. It took a full day and a good part of the following morning. In the end, the job they did was BEAUTIFUL. Not a wire to be seen anywhere, and no mess left behind. Need electrical done? Later, another electrician correctly diagnosed the problem to be on the pole and nipsco came and fixed. Then, they never sent a bill. Made sense to me, probably embarrassed. Nope. I started getting nasty messages from the real sweet lady that handles the books. And finally a bill arrives w the threat of a lawsuit and a mechanics lien. Funny thing, they never checked but I rent the place. Anyway, I have a mid 700 credit score. I pay my bills on time. And will pay this one. But now I'm inspired to share my story and hopefully save anyone else from dealing with them.
