NIPSCO said that I needed an electrician to reattach the wire as it was not their responsibility to do such work. Enter Chris and Kurt - what a team! They work very well together and assessed my problem and gave me two estimates. They suggested to me that I go with option one and gave me a 1 year guarantee that if that didn't hold, they'd come back and provide option 2 and give me credit for what I already paid. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all my questions. I'm very satisfied with the work they did and think their pricing was quite reasonable. I'm very glad to recommend them and kudos to the company for having these 2 guys working for them!

The inconvenience is due to the Insurance Company stepping up to do their part. The service technician upon being notified had arrived within an hour and proceeded to evaluate and resolve things.

Duane and what I think is his son came out the next morning for me on very short notice. The service was efficient and professional ,however, as with all electricians was pricey. Service call was 65, and as a journeyman its 76/hr plus the apprentice is like 50 something, so figure about 130/hr with both of them there. If you have to call an electrician, these two guys are where it's at. Also, no credit cards accepted, cash or check only. I didn't know that before hand but Duane let me drop it off later that day to his shop in Crown Point.

So, we didn't start breakfast because of what he said. I called him back at 11:am asking where he is because we didn't want to be eating when he showed up. David said go ahead and eat. So glad we did he showed up around 1:30 fixed the problem charged 80.00. I asked about adding power for the garage. Quoted me 400.00 and will be back by the end of this week, I asked him if he wanted to make an appointment write it down. He said no I'll remember it. We waited for the rest of the week and he didn't show up at all. I ran pipes to the other side of the garage and everything that he instructed me to do. We were having a heater installed and he told me exactly where to put it basically so it's easier for him to do the wiring, so it was nice and close to the junction box, I had everything set up for him. He didn't show up that week didn't call the next Monday I had it all set up ready to do everything myself, but Monday he texted me and said Hey mike nothing else. He calls said he will be out. When he showed up, I showed him everything I set up. In the middle of working in the garage he is on the phone with a lady, she is dropping the "F Bomb" every few seconds. After he gets off the phone I asked " is that your wife?" No just his office partner. He went in to switch on the power and I hear a Big Poof and smell burning wires. I tell him about it looked but didn't touch anything. He's done I pay him, and he tells me I have to go out and buy the cover plate to cover the exposed wires. I bought the cover and as soon as I get to the box. Poof it happens again. I call Dave back up and he said he is with a customer right now I will call you right back (fri 4:22) No call Saturday no call So we go chasing after him again we call. I'll be out Sunday 8:am I get up at 7am waiting waiting gets to 8:30 still a no show. He went to his girlfriend's house in Chicago and stayed overnight. We live in Indiana. This is the 3rd set up and no show. Asked him to bring receipts for his last 2 visits. Didn't bring them. I gave him all my info for the receipt. Said he would have his office email it to us on Monday. Didn't happen. we had to call them to get it again. My wife looked up the brick and mortar of their location. It ended up being a Mexican restaurant. His website is off. He had my wife resend all the information that we already sent for the receipt again. She asked him to text him when it's done. I just went downstairs and looked at his work in the fuse panel, and I need your opinion. Does this look like a used fuse to you that he installed and charged me for?
