I needed new tires badly and didnt have cash for set of new…read more I was hoping to find used tires as I have in past in California and found many places offering 20 per used tire, no matter condition. When I got to Florida places around Tampa area wanted a bit more 45-60 tire depending on condition. I need to three at least for now, so they found three and came to 193.00 and change. I wasn't thrilled paying that much for used, but these guys seemed all right and was a heck of a lot cheaper than new tires. The following morning after buying the three, the rear driver's tire is completely flat. I mean completely. Tried the owner tried to tell me when I called that its not possible and that some kids were probably playing a prank, letting the air out of my tire. He didn't even consider that I mentioned the tire was completely flat. No one is going to sit there entire time to make sure every bit of air is depleted out of the tire. Not smart on his part. Anyway, after replacing that tire with another used tire he made it sound like he was doing me a favor by replacing it. After not driving it until the next day when I left for California I got about 40 miles out of it before the tire that was just replaced had a major BLOWOUT! (See pictures) THESE ARE ALL THE DETAILS AND FACTS. ANY WORD FROM PUBLIC TO THIS CROOKED TIRE DEALER IN A REFUND WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. EVEN A QUICK PHONE CALL TO TELL HIM SO. Even a refund of the blowout tire he refused! I have to find time to take him to court now. Easiest win but meanwhile I'm out $193 plus AAA fees and stressful times side of highway getting help in dangerous spots. This crooked dealer needs to go down and shown cant get away with this

This is undoubtedly the best car shop in the area. I have been there numerous times to get my and…read moremy girlfriend's car serviced, and the guys there always do a spectacular job at a fair price point. What truly makes them stand out is their kindness. Laz and the staff have never been dishonest or insincere with me; they always ask if prices are okay and wait for my signal to proceed with any kind of maintenance. Visit the shop and you'll see. My girlfriend has witnessed Laz help an elderly woman who was so overjoyed and grateful for his help that it's difficult to put into words. Bigger and more recognizable businesses don't have a grasp on the importance of developing a rapport and instilling a want to return time after time, which is why I happily refer everyone that I can to this place. You won't be disappointed. They only downside is that the parking lot isn't nearly big enough to support all the customers that flood in every morning! Looks like word is getting out! Instead, they confirmed it was an easy repair and charged only $50--almost unheard of in today's economy. The service went above and beyond. When I picked up my car, they had even washed it and removed paint from the front end left after an unintended acceleration incident involving my garage door a few months earlier. I had previously taken the car to Wesley Chapel BMW--now part of Morgan Auto Group--for an inspection, and they did not remove the paint. Southern Tire was honest, reasonably priced, and provided exceptional service. I would recommend them 1,000%.

On my most recent visit, I was dismayed to learn that the Owner had sold it to this new company. The new counter person was very friendly, helpful and efficient. He explained that they do a car inspection for free, and then let you know about any issues they may find, for you to take care of or not. He said the old place only fixed the problem, but didn't really look for anything else - I'm not sure how he would know this, but I didn't like him bashing the old owners. I received a call about 20 minutes after dropping my car off, telling me I also needed to get my filters replaced, plus I had a larger, more serious problem that needed to be addressed. I appreciated them finding this issue, and got a quote from them for the repair cost. It was so high, I decided to call another garage I like/use to see what their price would be. My car was ready before they said it would be, and they texted me like I requested them too, so that was all good. However, I paid WAY MORE than I did under the previous Owner. Also - I ended up taking my car into the other garage to get the larger problem fixed, and they charged me $200!!! less than this Firestone had quoted me. Even though this garage is convenient, they have priced me out of being a regular client.
