I have used M&V multiple times for fun get together with friends and family. Whether it be a trip in the city or a day in the Hamptons- M&V has elevated our trip experience. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The buses we have rented are filled with lights, Bluetooth so you can be in control of the music, and we usually book the one with a bathroom. The drivers are always on top of communication while at pick up and drop off locations. This eases stress- especially when meeting up at Boardy Barn or the busy streets of NYC! I have nothing but great things to say and will continue booking with M&V as long as I am on Long Island. I would like to shoutout Jenna (their account manager) and Jason (one of their drivers). The driver started driving the stretch limo in the wrong direction. When this was pointed out to him. He did not appreciate it. I do not feel that this company takes safety seriously. It seems the level of service and inconvenient policies have been placed into effect. My interaction upon arriving was unpleasant. **** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY **** Poor customer service, communication & responsibility!!! Had a reservation for a 27 passenger bus for Saturday 6/10/17 for a wedding in Cutchogue, pick up in Huntington. Received a confirmation email a day prior for the 27 passenger bus. Bus shows up 20 minutes early, but the wrong size bus - a 23 passenger bus! Not only was bus smaller but the hatch on the roof blew off on the highway and the driver asked where the closest home depot was so he could fix it. Got a hold of a rep at m&v they claimed they sent us smaller bus because our contract said we had 20 people- yes 20 people minimum!! We had just enough room and squeezed onto the bus. We are driving and noticed the air conditioning wasnt working. Not only did it not work but it was spitting out water from the vents. So here are 13 couples dressed up to go to wedding, cramped and sweating for over an hour trip. Called back and couldn't get manager on phone (of course) and they will call me back. We are on the LIE and smelled something burning - next thing we hear BAM- we got flat tire. Pull over to side of road & Everyone gets out of bus. I call M &V and surprisingly i get a manager he says "yes i know about the air conditioning-" actually had to inform him of the current situation- 23 people stranded on side of highway and have a wedding to get to in 40 minutes. In order to make to wedding on time we had to order 5 ubers. The rep called my fiancé and informed him they will send a bus to bring us back to huntington after the wedding. They did. A 23 passenger bus. A least the air conditioning worked. Needless to say, they don't care about their customers or vehicles (3 of their buses broke down that day). Didn't receive any follow up phone calls or emails regarding our situation on Saturday. Been in customer service for a decade and this is unacceptable. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

I'm writing this review from our party bus that my cousin booked for her 40th birthday party with about 30 people and we are sitting on the side of the road in the dark! The bus broke down/ the battery died. The driver was smart enough to leave the car idling while we made stops instead of having it run completely. The company basically said we couldn't get our money back and that they would be sending another bus. It is going on 2 hrs now and the bus is STILL not here yet it's currently 11:24pm. My cousin's birthday is completely ruined, we are hot, bored and annoyed. We dnt even have music. The toilets stopped flushing and our phones are freaking dying!! He then called saying there was an accident on Sunrise Highway and he'd be here momentarily. He took my daughter and her boyfriend to Crest Hollow, waited the 4 hours and then brought them back. first of all if you are looking at this company for your wedding go elsewhere for sure please I beg of you. anyway for fun we wanted to rent a limo to take to my bridal shower so we could drink & just have fun! I have no idea how anyone could ever get lost going to my house considering I am literally right off the parkway and off a main road. no one has ever gotten lost going to my house in the whole 24 years I've lived here. I let it slide and gave him directions to get here. of course like 15 minutes later he finally got here. we expected a fun little ride to Merrick from Mineola. yeah so the radio did not work, the ac went on and then wouldn't shut off so we were all freezing as it blasted us all with cold air. after awhile we start looking out the window because the drive seems to really be taking forever & not just because there is no music, plus freezing. he took us to the wrong RESTAURANT!!!!! 30 minutes away in MELVILLE! so I have all these people at my own bridal shower wondering where we are since we are now more than fashionably late. so we had to drive all the way back to Mineola basically then drive in the other direction. I'm sure there would have been some easier faster way but sorry I forgot my GPS. so that added another 25 minutes? we ended up getting to my OWN bridal shower over an hour late. we were supposed to get there at NOON exactly. not AFTER 1 pm!!!!! since we were so late we had to rush through everything and I didn't get to finish opening my gifts in front of everyone. shame I wanted to use them for my bachelorlette party. Wow what a trip! The Alumni Relations committee of the Langone Student Government wanted to plan a trip for the graduating students of the part time MBA program. My first call was to Darian over 2 months ago and he has worked with us every step of the way. Darian took the time to explain all the options and answer all my questions. Darian was more than accommodating during the multitude of contract changes. He may have sensed I was nervous, and this was my first time planning a trip for 30+ people. At the end of each of our 20+ conversations, Darian always assured me we were going to have a good time. He made suggestions and about vineyards locations, vehicle sizes and purchasing extra time (because of traffic and our proximity to the vineyards) but I never once felt that he was trying to sell me something I didn't need. Darian also took the time to learn about who I was. He regularly asked about my day, my family, how school was going, what I did for work (I even sent him pictures of my current construction projects!). He made me feel there was a connection to be had beyond that of the transactional relationship. Most importantly, Darian ALWAYS made himself available by email, text and telephone during days, nights, weekends, and more. It was apparent to my team and I that Darian is ALL about the customer and his work truly showed it. On the day of the trip my group and I were blown away! I was texting Darian updating him about our trip. Our driver, Avi, was wonderful. He worked with my team and I making suggestions and changes on the fly to ensure we had a good time. The bus was clean and, just as Darian promised, a luxury experience. We're looking forward to continuing our relationship with Darian and the rest of the M&V team! read more

One of the only things my husband wanted on our wedding day was to drive in a Rolls Royce at the end of our wedding. Thus, we were stunned when we were not sent a Rolls Royce. Yes, it was still a beautiful antique car, but we were insulted that M&V figured they could send whatever car they wanted despite my husband having called to confirm multiple times in the past month. Not only that, but there was no "Just Married" sign, to which they responded, "We had a lot of weddings." The night before, we also used M&V to transport 10 of our friends and family to Yonkers. This experience and our wedding night experience provided two perfectly nice but completely lost, unprepared drivers. We had to provide assistance in both occasions. I am not giving M&V 1 star because the drivers were super nice, but I find this company to be really unprofessional otherwise. read more

In a sketchy market (at best) for wedding transportation the team at M&V was transparent, efficient and delivered precisely what my wife and I were looking for. For our wedding we rented the 1961 Princess Rolls Royce, very cool car in great condition. Driver was polite and on time. At the end of the evening they provided a complimentary Chrysler 300 sedan for transportation back to our hotel. Again, the driver was excellent.
