Three months after installation, Zap called and informed my that it was time for my quarterly maintenance appointment. Wait, what? How much will that cost me? NOTHING. They arrived on time and spent over an hour and discovered that mice were eating the wire connecting the condenser and the air handler. They replaced it without question even though that was not part of their warranty. As a contractor who has dealt with hundreds of subcontractors, they are the top .001%. Do note that the system was still functioning, but with a troubling noise suggesting an impending failure. The home warranty company dispatched Aire Serv of Northeast Georgia for the service call. Someone from Aire Serv called and we scheduled an appointment that worked well for my schedule and needs. The technician, Sumo, arrived on time and was really great to work with. He checked out the entire system and the source of the noise. He recommended replacement since the system was nearly 20 years old; he'd talk with his management about it and work on getting the approval. The next morning I heard from the manager at AireServ that the replacement had been approved and they would be ordering the new system. Once they had a delivery date they'd schedule with me for installation. As promised, they called once they had a system on the way and we scheduled a convenient day for the install. I have every reason to believe things would have sped up if my system wasn't heating the house, but since it was I was fine to schedule for convenience. On the install day the two technicians again were on time. Both Sumo and Sean were great; they were conscientious about noise given that I had work conference calls, plus they were extremely careful to not make a mess. The install went great, they took away all the old stuff and even vacuumed & swept up after themselves when leaving. I am extremely happy with the service from Aire Serv of NorthEast Georgia and am glad to recommend them.

The state of North Carolina has found Radlee Air guilty of improperly installing our system that…read morehas led to 12k in damages, mold, leaking supply lines because they never wrapped them, and drywall damage.. Their lawyer will be sending me a copy of their report to prove all the damage they caused and I will be posting their report. Radlee is also a very dishonest company posting that they told us to install a dehumidifier, but they did not, and we have posted the proof. They also will not provide us with their insurance information so we can make a claim. If you are dealing with them ask who their insurance carrier is. We have reported Radlee to every agengy we can and to Trane the manufacturer of our AC unit and they have opened a case. One of the owners claimed it was my fault that they failed an inspection because they put an AC vent under the dishwasher and told me as a homeowner I should have recognized the problem. The owners of the company who hold the license never came to our house before or during the build which is againest NC licensing. We will be hiring a laywer to try and get back the money we are out due to their poor workmanship. If you are looking for an AC company I would call around and make sure the company you hire has insurance and get a copy of it before you give them any money.

Our household, my wife and myself, was using this particular…read morebusiness/AC repairs/maintain services several times over certain period of time. I would not recommend it for any except small "you can do yourself but have no time" repairs. The owner/operator Ken Moses demonstrated lack of knowledge and experience in solving and repair AC problems over substantial period of time. However small maintains and small non essential repairs like to repair damaged insulation in the garage stand unit (cut and replace), to clean clogged grain line and restart backed up system - were fixed all right. The examples of everything else that we tried to repair included changing motors twice - second time for no obvious reason as it did not do any job as he said it would, vent, capacitor twice - second time with no obvious reason as it did not do any job and he said it would, welding the damaged tube in outside unit (the damage was actually a result of his poor work after he poorly installed new vent in outsite unit and it was resulted in cutting the tube and in leak of refrigerant (filling the refrigerant twice as it continues to leak after him welding it) : those repairs did not went well and needed follow ups to make them work and eliminate damage. After the first leak of the refrigerant caused by poor vent installation by this operator- the AC is not keeping the temperature day long-it goes extreme up after 12pm when outside temperature goes up until the evening when the air cools down. The representative kept coming with new repairs of all the different parts/components every time , including adding refrigerant twice), claiming that each of those times particular repair would!!!work for sure!!! And I did not work. The pattern shows he does not know and he is guessing. The last three repairs resulted in around 1k for us in payments. Each of three of them failed functioning again in couple of hours after he had left. Instead of following up and either provide solution or acknowledge he does not know, he continued come and bill more and more every time - none of those times the problem was solved. Should he just mentioned that he does not know - we just would not end up with unnecessary repairs/bills of more than 1k for the last three and more than 3k after he poorly installed the vent that cut the tube and all this started (It is where/when the problem started) . There is no such thing as customer care and customer satisfaction for this business, but abusive pattern of making more money on regular loyal customers. My very kind and too loyal wife, who supports small local businesses at every opportunity, was taking it all from then for a long time - trying to give them an opportunity to find out or correct ect - that was a mistake to let it so. These are the reasons I would not recommend this company for anything more than small insignificant maintains/repairs .

They ran a gas line for a pottery kiln through demanding conditions with a genuine ease and expertise. They even installed dual regulators and safety valves, increasing the robustness and reliability of the supply line. This is great peace of mind when firing a kiln up to 2,400 degrees! They have also fixed our dual fuel heater on a cold day in January, the same day I called and asked for help. These folks are definitely go-to contractors when these type of services are needed.

Being billed a $35 "Service Call" fee plus $175 for 1 hour of "Plumbing Labor" bringing the total to $210 seemed on the steep side. I was referred to them as being a local family business, which is great but I expected them to be more reasonable than the large national companies. To make matters worse, when I reached out regarding the miscommunication on billing, they weren't very helpful in trying to work anything out. They wouldn't take a check while they were at the house but gladly slapped an extra fee to run a credit card when that's the only option on their online system. Fast work, but very poor customer service and billing transparency.
