There were several issues with direct deposits and auto debits from the start. My account was immediately overdrafted and several credit card payments were returned. This caused unnecessary fees with my credit card companies and issues with my credit lines. The fees they charge for overdrafts and returned payments are the highest in the industry at $36. Their customer service is a complete joke and they cannot do anything over the phone and they make you go into the branch to ask for fee reversals and to close your accounts. Many customer faces issues with the transition and had to visit the branches, who were too understaffed to deal with the issues, causing hours of wait time. My issues were not revolved as promised during the first visit and I had to return to the bank the following week to wait again. This is not my experience with any other bank that I bank with, so I know that their practices are not normal. I have rarely had to visit any bank branch in person to resolve an issue, so I know that this is not normal customer service. I would avoid this bank at all costs. I have since joined 2 incredible credit unions that I have had no issues with (I have never had to visit either branch thus far, as their customer service is superb). I also never had an issue banking with Santander for over 10 years until they came along. Please avoid this bank. If you are in the LV area, try People's First.

This branch is about a year old. When you walk in you are immediately greeted and offered water or coffee. I waited a few minutes and was greeted by the Assistant Manager and she opened my account for me. I was floored at what was available. Free checking with 2.0% interest!! That's more interest than a standard savings account. When my debit card arrives I activate it in the ATM and can change my pin right at the ATM as well. Score!! The website is real time. We can transfer funds between accounts AND we get reimbursed up to $15 a month for out of network ATM fees. Are you kidding? For those of you shopping for a local bank I whole heatedly recommend LNB. Don't let your existing bank tell YOU where your new account will be like mine did. Take that First Niagara and Community Bank!

I had a checking and savings account here for years and had cashed my checks countless times without issue. One day I attempted to cash my check at the drive-up teller (Waterloo location) and was told very abruptly to "Go to bank of America". I was like "lol what I have an account here" and they tried to tell me I didn't. This was a normal, valid paycheck from the same employer I had been cashing at this location for years, mind you. So I went inside and the female employee (short hair, glasses, middle-aged) accused me of trying to scam the bank and told me that I "Got lucky" cashing my checks there before. She was extremely irate and disrespectful, insisting she could not find my accounts. I immediately contacted the bank supervisor, and none of my calls or emails were ever returned. I lost I don't know how much money (I don't remember exactly how much was in my accounts, it likely wasn't much, but that's not the point.) Those accounts, which I had for several years, had simply disappeared into thin air, and not only did I not get an explanation, I was treated like a criminal by bank employees, as if I were pulling some scam on them. I warn anyone against doing any sort of business with this fraudulent establishment.
