After seeing all the great reviews online, I decided to take my car to Transmissions Unlimited--and I'm really glad I did. Andy took the time to clearly explain everything that needed to be repaired on my transmission. He told me the car would be ready in three days, and he delivered exactly as promised. Not only did he fix the transmission, but he also took care of another issue my car had, all within the same timeframe. They provide a one-year warranty on their repairs, which gave me even more confidence in their work. The estimate was just right as all other shops offered about the same price estimates. Andy and his father, Jorge, are true professionals when it comes to transmission repair. I've now been driving my car for over a month since the repair, and it drives like it's brand new. I'm extremely glad I chose Transmissions Unlimited. I highly recommend them to anyone experiencing transmission problems or needing reliable automotive repairs. Their service is honest, fast, and top-quality.

I'd highly recommend Gold Coast if you're ever in need of a new transmission.

Got my car back and it ran like crap. Felt like a cable was slapping around, back up lights did not work (They did prior) and the clutch chattered a lot. They told me to let the clutch slip and it would wear down. Brought it to Bob's Automotive in Sunrise. They told me the transmission mount was ruptured, the transmission was only held in with three bolts, the throw out bearing was never changed and my clutch cable was extremely loose. The pressure plate was warped and the back up switch was damaged. Had to re-pay to have the transmission done again. Car runs great now. I also paid less for a new clutch and labor then Gold Coast charged me for just labor...so not a good experience.

Went home and checked my brake fluid it was still filthy. I brought my own brake pads and the price to change it was $150. I went back to them to show them and he only offered me a refund for the flush which was $77 and to tell the guy who worked on it he f'd up. I showed them the picture and he also wanted to look under the hood. I take that he didn't believe me. I let him know I could work on my vehicle myself I just didn't have the park for the electric braking system. From that point you should have known that I was going to check it. I would not recommend them to anyone and I would not take any of my other vehicles to them.
