I learned more about modern ceramic tint vs what we used to use back in the day. After reaching out to several companies in the Sterling/Ashburn area, I found Sunshine Control and requested a quote. Erlinda provided me a few options to go with standard ceramic tint or the 3M Crystalline tint. I waited several months to make my decision as I wanted to get closer to the spring/summer season before needing the tint. Well, I decided to do it earlier and reached back out to Erlinda and she honored the pricing she provided and walked me through the different tint options. The work was completed in roughly 5 hours after I dropped off my car. They are detailed, careful and cover all electronics on a tesla to avoid water intrusion issues with the installation process. I ended up with 35% tints all around and could not be happier.

The sills don't remove so each pane must be done seperately. He said no job too small and that he could come out the next day to give me a quote. He sent a message calendar invite right after the call confirming and I received a message the next day he was on his way. We agreed on price on the spot, and he returned the following week to do the work himself. Same calendar invites and text alerts when he was on his way. Brought his own trash bags to take up the slack and cleaned up the water and waste so it looked like he was never there. Took a couple of hours and he was done and on his way. Could not have been happier with his work, communication and professionalism. Nice to support an owner/operator and I would recommend and use him again myself at any time.

When I reached out to speak with Wiley about it, he was very defensive and sent me a very long email rant denying doing the damage but asking for an estimate. The mirror cost $1600 to replace and who knows about the plastic in the cargo area. However, when I called all I wanted was acknowledgement and an apology. I knew he would resist paying and I didn't want to fight him over it. Sadly, I got neither. Unprofessional, poor service and ChatGPT written emails is all I received. Not good!
