After they spent a whole day claiming that they replaced parts and tried to charge me $1100. Hancock came in, pressed a button and fixed the problem for a total cost of $175. The technician's names were Billy and Dominique. They were both friendly, polite snd professional. Everyone that I have talked to that uses Hancock has nothing but good things to say about them. And after my experience, I have to agree. So far, I don't want to mention the name to of the company that tried to rip me off so badly. However that might change.very soon. But as far as Hancock, sons based in S. MD Ma I would say they are very trustworthy, and I will definitely use them again if an issue comes up.

At his recommendation I called an electrician. Who then did diagnostics. He only charged $125.00. However he Determined my problem was not electrical. So I called Atlantic Well...who quickly replaced my Well Pump and resolved my problem! So not only did Hancock misdiagnose my problem (charging $315) but then I unnecessarily had to pay an electrician. Atlantic Well's labor to replace the Well Pump was less than Hancock's diagnostic fee. But what really upset me was the estimate Hancock gave me to replace my pressure switch and gage (if I needed one later) was a WHOPPING $730.00!! I've had them replaced before. The parts were $150 and labor $100. $250 TOTAL! It only takes maybe one hour. This company should be ASHAMED at how they rip people off. I honestly can't get over it. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Doug, one of the technicians, is my "go to" guy -- he always does an excellent job, knows the heating system I have, responds to calls quickly, is friendly and helpful. Anytime I call, the people in the office provide outstanding service. Yesterday, just before the snowstorm, my heat went out. I called and Doug was here quickly and fixed the problem, so I didn't have to worry about having no heat in the snow and frigid temperatures-what a relief! This company is wonderful!

I have dealt with Taylor Oil for years and hoped they had trucks out even at this hour. I called and left a message. About 10 minutes later I get a call from JAY TAYLOR, the owner. Jay said the trucks were all booked for the evening and he set me up for the morning delivery. I was OK with that. About 30 minutes later, Jay called to say that he was coming over, himself, to give me enough oil to get me through the night. He came a bit later in bitterly cold weather, put the oil in and waited until I could reset the furnace to be sure it was working. Jay is a great example of friendship and customer service. I can never thank Jay enough for his exceptional service and the throwback to this way of doing business in the early days of business. FIVE STARS OF COURSE!

Was nothing the did, it was something done during new construction 14 years ago. The infinity system has been wonderful so far. Can't wait for heating season. I highly recommend Coastal Comfort. Process from sales rep to the installation team was seamless. Thank you for a great experience!

I have been a loyal 19 year customer with annual maintenance every one of those years. I LOVE…read moreCarrier equipment as I designed my own system layout as far as damper and trunkine placement. Previous management completed the job with spectacular results. I have a top-line Infinity gas back-up furnace, 5 dampers for a single unit system with 4 zones on two floors for a 3300 sq. ft. home. (I cleared drywall space in the basement ceiling to facilitate two trunk lines parallelling the I-Beam in the basement; some ducks up, some down). I have reviewed Coastal Comfort extremely well up to the replacement of my outdoor heat pump three years ago. After all these years of my many positive experiences with Coastal, especially regarding the 'non-management' front office staff and the highly qualified technicians that I've grown to love, I can tell you that this company has changed to the negative.... after the transition from the now-owner's father- Kevin Coleman. There's such an emphasis on growth ambitions, market share, profitability.... General and Service Managers have been hired that are nothing more than confrontational and abrasive in their communication styles if anything doesn't go as expected for them.. A total inability to listen----and it's supported by the now second-generation owner!! LOL Bottom line ---Bryant equipment is EXACTLY the same as Carrier. I was told this by the distributor they purchase all their equipment from! The equivelant of Carrier's Infinity furnace that I own and love is Bryant's 'Evolution'. It's just another brand running down the same assembly lines in the Carrier Global manufacturing plant! Do your own research for a local dealer of your choice, whether it's Carrier or Bryant!~ Sometimes a smaller company is much preferrred verses one that doesn't exerecise basic customer communication skills on a managerial level or truly listen to a customer when ther is an issue. Here's a takeaway----Call Coastal Comfort , or when they call you, they always recite the disclaimer statement of "You're on a recorded line" Who cares!! It's a partial intimidation tactic that they actually spend a lot of valuable minutes on to review hundreds of calls instead of a fucus on customer satisfaction issues. It's almost humurous thinking about all the wasted minutes when more productive time utilization can allow the business to prosper more effectively.
