So... If you are looking a plumber, please stay as far away possible from SHORTY ROBERSON PLUMBING…read more He is out of Kenly, NC. We had a plumbing emergency on Memorial Day and called all the big reputable company's first but of course they were all closed or unable to assist that day. So we kept going down the line of "plumbers near me" and came across him and he was ranked with 4.2 so we thought, why not. Well, he answers and came out same day. Was here only 5 mins and added a coupling and supposedly our problem was fixed. For the amount he charged, we took into consideration coming out on Memorial Day, etc... Well, unfortunately sometime in the night it became "unfixed" and water went leaking out everywhere underneath our home again. Not just any water but HOT WATER to boot. We didn't know it till the morning when it was pouring out on the side of our house. Called him back and again he was only here for less than 5 mins and said a minimal of 10 words to me. Problem was the same problem as before but he fixed it again by adding another coupling. ‍ If I wouldn't have gone outside I don't think he would have even told me he was here or that he was leaving. Anyways, a few hours later after he left, can you guess what happened... it started again. Hot water pouring out under my house. Keep in mind, every single time this takes place, we have to call the town to come out and turn our main water line off. This was the third time. Tried to call him and no answer. My neighbor calls from his line and guess what, HE ANSWERED. Then proceeded to tell him he didn't know when he could get back out here... it was our problem, that he had done his job & hung up the phone on him. we called another reputable plumbing company and they came out and put a temporary fix on it but said the problem would take more time to fix than what they could do that evening so we have scheduled another appointment to do just that. Funny thing, the amount of money paid to SHORTY ROBERSON for not even fixing it is the same amount of money this company is asking to actually FIX the issue and run all new lines, tap out of the hot water line, etc... #FeelingScammed #Beware

Our plumber came out and ignored the advice I was given as to the ONLY possible thing it could be, ignored all the things I told him we already had our handyman check, and set himself to work. To be honest with you, I was getting a bit upset about the time he was "wasting" by retracing steps already done! But then he comes back with, "all done and the final bill is $125." HUH?? Instead of listening to my thoughts on the problem, he used his professional skills and saved me a LOT of money that others would have gladly gone with my ideas first, then worked their ideas and then charged me that $500 I was expecting! So once again Braxton Britt Plumbing came through for me! They are very professional yet friendly and cordial while getting right to work. And once they've come to your place, the second time they come, the plumber tells you how much the bill is and then they bill you for their service. When people ask me if I know of a plumber to recommend, without hesitation I open the contacts in my phone and text them my Braxton Britt contact card!
