M & M vineyards is a vineyard that is tucked away in Bangor. One day when the weather was nice we decided to take a trip there. Side note: the ride there was extremely scenic and highly recommended. Upon arrival there was clear signage on where to park. You enter through a small building which leads you outside to a screened in seating area which then takes you to the outdoor seating area. Social distancing was in full effect, parties were seated away from one another. Also there were sun shades to protect patrons from the sun. We were greeted by the owner who sat us down and gave us tasting menus. The menu had many options and all had detailed descriptions. There also was an option for a small snack plate. Tastings are $7 for 5 options and $5 for the snack plate. Once you mark your menu you get a small tray delivered to you with a napkin, wine glass, and individual containers of each wine picked for the tasting. The servings were small but in a good way, one is able to get an idea of the wine and have room for tasting the others. The owner stopped by to chat with us and he was very friendly and we had a good chat about vaccine development (he and his wife in their prior life were both microbiologists). He also explained the vines were protected by coverings to help prevent spotted lantern fly invasions. The atmosphere was relaxed and we enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend a visit. Things to know: -extremely clean, as soon as a party left the tables were fully wiped down and sanitized -check in on Yelp for a discount -outside food is allowed -clean restrooms -no WiFi -pets on leash are welcome -only open Friday to Sunday -small family owned business -in the past the venue used to host buffet Indian dinners with wine, but they are on pause due to covid.

Love that the sign outside has the info you need before even going down the driveway!

Loved that the owners take the time to talk to us! This winery is a "retirement passion" of the owner. He and his wife talked to us as if we were old friends chatting about wine. I tasted the 5 sweet wines (which aren't super sweet). My husband tried 5 others. I bought one bottle and actually would love to go back for the one that reminded me of the holidays! We got there late in the day on a Sunday and would like to go again and sit outside and enjoy some wine on the property. It is an extremely clean and well-cared for building and property. A great stop on our ride home to NJ.

Great blends of wines for unique flavor patterns never tasted before. Intimate setting parking does get packed at times.

The soft murmur of chitchat and live music instills a Joyful atmosphere -- even recognized a few friendly faces celebrating. The gentle aromas of Wine and Pizza warmly fill the air. The Vineyard Views offers Respite from the Outside - and is Charmingly lit by 1.2 million lights at night - made me Wonder if this was what Italy was like. After 2.5 hours of a nonstop, high-energy, stream-of-consciousness lecture, I cried my Behind-the-Scenes tour ended... but Thankful for the Unexpected Opportunity to leave a bit Better than I had arrived.

The hours are great to pick up a bottle or two before heading back up the mountain. The staff are knowledgeable, i was asked what types of wines I generally enjoy and then offered free samples so that I could taste before buying a bottle. I liked the option of trying the wines without having to purchase a flight. After a day of fun I decided on a bottle of sweet reds. Their red raspberry hit that sweet spot though I also really enjoyed their sauvignon blanc. I will definitely be back to visit the large estate on my next trip to the Poconos!

The entire staff went above and beyond to make our big day so special, and our family and friends were absolutely raving about the beauty of the venue, both inside and out. Many of them said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The setting is so beautiful, and we had our ceremony outside in the pavilion. Cocktail hour was out on the porch/lawn, and the reception was in the main room. Everything was impeccably set up and decorated, and the staff worked so hard to bring my vision to life. The caterer that they recommended was excellent, and there was seamless coordination between the winery and all of the vendors. Brook Hollow has a large, diverse selection of wines, and we and our guests thoroughly enjoyed several of them throughout the day. We look forward to going back in the future for some of the winery's events, as well as to the tasting room to enjoy and stock up on the amazing wines.

It was a beautiful sunny warm day, so we decided to enjoy the flight outside. The grounds are beautiful. The place was not crowded when we visited. There was only one other couple visit visiting with two dogs. The one thing that bugged me, the samples were poured into "plastic". Next visit, I will speak up. Of the 6 wines, WE LOVED the "Reserved Chardonnay" $25 and "Reserved Cab. Franc" $45. Of course, our two favorites came home with us! Brook Hollow Winery is located right off of Route 80, just about on the Pennsylvania borderline.

Tucked away on Broadway, this cozy little tasting room is a hidden gem that's well worth seeking out. The atmosphere has a fun medieval feel that perfectly matches the history behind mead, one of the world's oldest alcoholic beverages. Whether you're already a mead fan or trying it for the first time, the staff makes the experience enjoyable and educational. They happily explain the different styles, from traditional honey meads to fruit-infused varieties, and offer complimentary tastings so you can discover what suits your palate best. Their meads are crafted with Pennsylvania honey and local ingredients, making each pour feel like a true taste of the region. I also appreciated that they offer wines in addition to their meads, so there's something for everyone. There was a great selection ranging from dry to sweet, making it easy to find a favorite. I ended up leaving with a bottle to enjoy at home because the tasting made it impossible not to! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable without ever making you feel rushed. They took the time to answer questions and made the tasting feel personal rather than just another stop along Broadway. Stonekeep is one of those unique places that adds to the charm of Jim Thorpe. Whether you're spending the day shopping, exploring the historic town, or just looking for a relaxing tasting experience, this is definitely a stop I'd recommend. I'll absolutely be back on my next visit!

We did enjoy sitting and looking out at the spectacular view our table had, we really lucked out that day with the weather. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the wines they offer have a lot of potential. I would love to see them expand their wine selection, with more variety in primarily dry red wine, as well as some different styles for guests to explore. A broader selection would make it even easier for everyone to find something they love. My family and I aren't very big on white wines so expanding their red wine flavors would help exponentially attract more people in the future. The hosts explained how to properly experience a tasting for anyone who was new to wine tastings which I thought was really nice. Dinner was served after the tasting which in all honesty I had very low expectations of but was pleasantly surprised by because the chicken Parmesan and pasta that was served was really flavorful and filling! There was also a salad and cake served as well.
