Tim (the owner) asked me to send some pictures of the breaker to him so he could order the correct replacement part, and avoid having to come out twice. He ordered the part and his guys came out on Tuesday afternoon to install the new CFCI breaker The electrician that he sent out was both professional and personable in every way and he was happy to explain everything that he was doing. He clearly was very highly trained. This was the first time that I had used Paciorek Electric and I would be happy to use them again.. A footnote: Be sure to discuss the costs before they come out to see you -- so you aren't surprised by the cost. The 25 minutes of work on this job resulted in a "Minimum Service Call" charge of $140(!) being billed.

When something goes sideways we troubleshoot it over the phone. On our end, all we have to do is give Bob the correct model and serial number for the machine in question and he'll tell us straight up front if the machine is too old to be repaired, or if there's a problem getting parts due to supply chain issues etc. Once the parts come in, Bob and Bob arrive promptly at the scheduled time, and with seemingly minimalist precision install the part(s), check equipment performance and were good to go. When they arrived, they quickly opened the fridge doors, saw the condensation, and without any further evaluation or listening to my description of how long the condensation had been an issue, told me that I hadn't been closing the fridge doors fully, and it was my fault. I have had this fridge for 12 years and have not had this problem, yet they insisted that I was wrong and just wasn't closing the doors properly. After they left, I wiped down all the condensation and left the fridge securely closed for 15 hours and guess what-- when I opened it the next morning, all the condensation was back. To add to the situation, both repairmen kept insisting I was too anxious, and one even gave me an unsolicited hug. To say I was shocked is an understatement. They were pushy for their $140 service fee, and my husband and I paid them cash but immediately regretted it. Since then we had a real repairman come by who diagnosed the problem after quite a bit of investigation. I have called them several times and left messages, but my calls have never been returned. I have requested my money back, also no response. I would avoid them completely.

An amazing price, compared to the Scott's crap everyone sells. They do sales, service, and parts for lawn equipment. At least one major appliance cost more than it's "big chain" competition, but I try to do business with smaller shops like Quimby's. The appliances so far are mostly satisfactory. When I had a problem with one, however, the owner did not follow up when requested and instead I was treated very poorly over a simple misunderstanding related to delivery. I do not deserve to be spoken to so rudely and disrespectfully for any reason - especially at these prices.
