The horses get all day turnout and the ring to ride in is large and well taken care of. There also was never any flooding no matter how much it rained in the summer. The other boarders are great and I loved our little barn family. It was a small drama free facility that I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a well priced barn for their giant fur baby!

They must have had a bad fire last summer because when I returned I noticed plenty of scorching and plenty of new growth. There are a few ways to get here. If you need directions to the tram chances you probably shouldn't be out here. People use this road for riding motocross, ATV, riding horses. On certain nights the police will be down to observe and some times they break up parties. Which leads to piles of bottles and cans. Off road conditions range from dry, dusty to muddy in some parts. A great time for simple affordable fun. Sand can be really soft and ATV or 4x4 truck or SUV is mandatory or you will get stuck in about 3 main areas. Trails run all the way to 75. While out you may see cows, deer, wild hogs, coyote, bobcats, and turkey. I've noticed more people seem to care about cleaning up the clutter as it's far more easier to clean your own cans. Bottles should not be left out there since many people are barefoot and tires are not inexpensive. If the owners of this land seen the amount of trash left by the lazy idiots I would not feel so bad if they fenced it to keep the trespassers out. Remember how bad luck prairie got closed? It can happen again here.

My partner is 6'8", so we were a little concerned about whether they would have a horse that could comfortably accommodate her height, but the staff reassured us right away and made sure everything would work out. Their communication and willingness to accommodate us made us feel extremely confident and excited about the experience. When we arrived, everything was organized and relaxed. One thing I really appreciated was that they allowed me to ride the same horse I had during my previous visit, named Legacy. Legacy is such a beautiful and calm horse, and it made the experience even more special being reunited with him again. Our guide Giana was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire ride feel comfortable and fun. She checked in on everyone throughout the ride, made sure we were confident handling the horses, and shared helpful tips along the way. You could tell she really cares about both the riders and the horses. The trail itself was beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect way to enjoy the day outdoors. Between the great staff, well-trained horses, and excellent guidance from Giana, it turned into a truly memorable experience for both of us. Mickaylaa was our trail guide and despite her having a terrible case of laryngitis she did awesome! We really liked how you do more than just ride a trail you are given the whole horse interaction experience. We were able to properly groom the horse with brushing them, and shown how to clean out the hooves make sure there aren't any rocks caught. We were able to be involved with watching them put the tack/ saddle and saddlebags on our horses. Need a bottle of water or keep your cell phone close? You got it right with you in the saddle bags. We then were able to get up on the horses and were given a corral & agility area to ride so we could get comfortable with our horses. Once we were comfortable then we hit the beautiful and awesome trail. This place has such sweet horses that are awesome with children as well as adults. Mickaylaa took many awesome pics on the trail. There was another gentleman helping us as well, but I didn't catch his name; he was very nice too. We booked a private ride, so it was just the three of us, which made everything feel very personal and relaxed. This was the first riding experience I've booked where they actually teach you how to prepare the horses for the ride. Tory walked us through every step as we brushed the horses down, cleaned their hooves, and set up their saddles ourselves. She explained why each step was important, which made the whole experience feel very educational and hands-on instead of just a simple trail ride. Before heading out, we got some practice time in the riding pen to learn how to work with and control the horses. After that, we went on a trail ride around the farm and got to see and learn about the other animals there as well. One thing that made the experience even cooler was that guests are allowed to bring small veggie and fruit treats for the animals. After the ride and once we unsaddled the horses, we got to give them the carrots and apples we brought. It was such a nice touch and made the experience feel even more interactive and memorable. Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the horses and about teaching people, not just rushing through rides. We'll definitely be coming back and bringing more friends next time.
