Tammy spoke to us several times and was always pleasant and to the point. We met David the first night and he showed us around, saying if we needed anything, to just call. The room was charmingly rustic but was a nice change from the vanilla hotel rooms we normally stay in. Very well equipped with everything we needed. The fact that this is a working horse farm where we could watch riders practicing barrel racing and breaking horses was a plus. The farm is well maintained with two great arenas, one indoor, one outdoor that have great footing and jumps. They have some open space around the farm that you can go on trail rides on if you'd like, which seems a bit harder to find in some parts of Florida. Debbie and Michael are no nonsense, no drama, knowledgeable owners which is refreshing as it makes for a pleasant experience at the barn. They and the staff take excellent care of the horses, and notice the smallest things which coming from our background is very much appreciated. Tu-Bahd has a great lesson program for kids of all ages. Kathy does a great job introducing kids to horses and it seems they really respond positively. Having grown up riding, and through USPC (graduate H-A) I appreciate her knowledge. We are grateful to have found Tu-Bahd Farms when we did, and have been very happy with our horses care.

I got off at 5pm to leave for the appointment, saw the messages and called right away. He wouldn't budge and cancelled my appointment. He did not tell me on Wednesday, when I scheduled the appointment, that I would need to confirm the appointment the next day... I would have turned my phone off silent or called before 5pm. What a wonderful way to disappoint my 11 & 13 year old horse loving daughters... we are here from South Dakota visiting. His mom is an even bigger problem, she has an even worse attitude. STAY AWAY! Riding in a Thunderstorm!? After riding with Stacey weekly for over two months, we confirmed a…read moreride at 8am. By 1pm, the rains came and we received County texts that Lightning was nearby and we should take cover. We still met at Paleo Hammock to see our favorite horses and reschedule. Stacey's husband was optimistic because we were in a lull between downpours. The Accu-Weather Radar showed LOTS of storm to come. But, even with a Thunder Clap, Stacey demanded we pay and declared the ride was on. We are not stupid, nor faint of heart, but if there is LIGHTNING in Florida, the LAST place you should be is in some open field, ten feet up on a horse. So, we are looking for another stable to ride, and we will tell them upfront, if there is LIGHTNING in the area, we don't ride, and don't pay. Hope that $80 goes a long way for you Stacey, you kissed off three good horse lovers and Great Customers.
