They have some open space around the farm that you can go on trail rides on if you'd like, which seems a bit harder to find in some parts of Florida. Debbie and Michael are no nonsense, no drama, knowledgeable owners which is refreshing as it makes for a pleasant experience at the barn. They and the staff take excellent care of the horses, and notice the smallest things which coming from our background is very much appreciated. Tu-Bahd has a great lesson program for kids of all ages. Kathy does a great job introducing kids to horses and it seems they really respond positively. Having grown up riding, and through USPC (graduate H-A) I appreciate her knowledge. We are grateful to have found Tu-Bahd Farms when we did, and have been very happy with our horses care.

He said he text me at 3:30pm On Thursday and asked to confirm by 5pm for a 6pm appointment. I was working and had my phone on silent (I work from home and have my laptop with me)... I got off at 5pm to leave for the appointment, saw the messages and called right away. He wouldn't budge and cancelled my appointment. He did not tell me on Wednesday, when I scheduled the appointment, that I would need to confirm the appointment the next day... I would have turned my phone off silent or called before 5pm. What a wonderful way to disappoint my 11 & 13 year old horse loving daughters... we are here from South Dakota visiting. His mom is an even bigger problem, she has an even worse attitude. STAY AWAY! On a positive note, Whispering Pines Equestrian LLC was really nice and offered to let my girls go to their day camp on Friday for half the cost of this place.

We saw much wildlife, including many deer, beautiful tropical birds, and other animals, like cows. The riding is in a Flofida water management Hammock, with incredible oak tree cover, so for 90% of the ride, one is shaded from the hot sun. Perhaps the best part of the trip was the magnificent trees, some 500 or 600 years old! Michelle will take good care of you. Get her to talk, she's got some terrific stories.
