The paint came out great on this 2004 Lexus LS430. I am still working on the car but got a great start using Lakeshore to repaint and repair.

I decided enough of the bs with caliber I was told about paint Lux. After speaking to paint Lux on day one. I was able to get my claim moved over and had my inspection the first week. By the end of the second week all paperwork was finished and I had a repair drop off date. Staff was helpful, friendly, and professional from start to finish. I dropped my truck off and working 2 1/2 weeks my truck was finished. Not only that it was certified repaired, not pieced together like other body shops. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. When I would call they would answer, they tell me the status of my repairs. On top of that they detailed my truck before I picked it up. What I needed was a motor assist flexible coupling to be replaced to fix the issue. Toyota's, $900 repair estimate was for a $30 coupling part and four hours of labor. goodbye Toyota!! I, then visited a local five star rated auto repair shop and told them what I needed, and asked them for a ballpark estimate to replace the coupling including labor. I was told I would first have to pay $179 diagnostic fee to determine if there might be other additional issues. The diagnostic fee would be a separate charge added to the repair cost. They wouldn't give me an estimate just to fix the coupling issue, another goodbye for me!! A friend referred me to Vinny, at Bob Davis Auto Repair. Vinny, listened to what my issue was and gave me a ballpark estimate around $400. Vinny, repaired my car a little under the estimate, part and 2.2 hours for labor! they're Honest, Fair and earned my Trust and future busines. Thank you, Vinny and the staff, at Bob Davis Auto!

Vinnie told me everything looked fine and that he'd email me a quote after I left my information. Later that day, I received the quote for a new A/C compressor totaling $1,100. Since this was my first time at the shop, I wanted to double-check that this was definitely the issue before committing. After emailing him back that I'll take some time to think it over, he responds saying I owe him a $150 diagnosis fee added on that was never mentioned when I dropped the car off. I called to politely ask about it and whether I had signed anything or been told about the fee upfront. Vinnie immediately responded with, "Never mind, you're not my type of customer, don't ever call me again," and hung up on me. I have no issue paying a diagnosis fee when it's disclosed in advance, but the lack of transparency and the abrupt, unprofessional reaction spoke volumes. It felt like a shady tactic, especially during my very first interaction with the business. Overall, extremely unprofessional and not a shop I can recommend.

My service advisor Chris text me and let me know what was to done before starting the work. Also had a couple things that needed to be fixed and one check engine light that the guys at MBenz couldn't figure out.. I told him the same thing was going on with my car. I was hearing some squealing noises and they said there was nothing wrong with anything. I've had BMWs for 30 years. I know how they work. So I come back they say I need new air conditioner a dryer that's gonna cost 3600. That's more than the BMW dealership. The part denso cost about $387 online top-of-the-line. There's nothing wrong with my suspension, but yet they told me I need a new control arm and bushings My car is not making any shaking. It does not shake at a certain speed. It doesn't shake when I break. There's nothing nothing wrong with my suspension. The squeaking noise is coming from the air conditioner. I told him when I take my foot off the gas the squeak stops. The kicker is this. I let air out of my back tire rear right tire. It was about 25 pounds. I asked him to check the tires literally ! when he came back to me. He said yeah they looked a little worn out in the back. Nothing about being low they couldn't break out a two dollar air gauge check my air in my tires. They let me go of their lot with a 25 pounds of air in my back rt tire. I specifically asked them to check the tires. Then they wanna charge me over $5000 fir work Total rip off total rip off when I got the car at the shop. The mileage didn't even change !! worse , when I got it back so they didn't even take it for a test drive to see if anything was going on. They claimed to be like some kind of awesome Foreign auto repair shop, but they're really just a scam job trying to rip off people I give them a zero!!!
