I was coming in from out of town for my daughter's wedding and I didn't know what to expect. EVERYONE was so friendly and eager to make me look beautiful! My makeup and hair exceeded any expectations I might have had walking in! Laura, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure I looked my very best. I brought my wedding outfit to change into, along with a portable steamer. When I mentioned that I was going to use the steamer on my skirt, she insisted on doing it for me. She didn't want my hair and makeup to be affected by the steam. When it looked like my husband was lost and wouldn't be able to pick me up in time for family wedding photos at the Nixon Library (just down the street), Laura insisted on driving me there herself. I'm someone who expects to spend the full day at the salon since my hair is thick and it takes about 6-7 hours to get this type of work done. I go in every 6 months and will bring work with me or something to kill time when I'm waiting around for processing and if she happens to run late. She's very clean and the studio is well lit and has nice aesthetics. Happy to say I won't be needing a new hair stylist soon. Although I do have to drive extra to her after moving, I like her work, her personality, her attention to the questions and concerns I have.
