By far the worst and most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a coach…read more As a fitness coach who has worked with many coaches over the years, I have high standards for professionalism, but Coach Daniel failed on every level. I was randomly assigned to Coach Daniel after the intro class with Coach Mark. Not too long after I worked with him, I realized his punctuality and communication were a total mess. He was late to our very first session and kept showing up late after that. (Screenshot #2) Other than his constant tardiness, he was frequently distracted and disengaged while training me. It got to the point where he completely no-showed on me once without any heads-up (Screenshot #3）. After I brought up my concerns about his punctuality, hoping things would change, he even explicitly admitted in text messages that the business has no formal policy for coach no-shows or severe delays, and unpunctuality and missed lessons are a regular issue among the coaches at this gym (Screenshot #1 & #3）. For our latest session he claimed at the last minute he would be 45 minutes late again and even unilaterally decided to hand me off to another coach without my permission (Screenshot #5）. When I reached out to discuss his professional attitude, he literally ghosted me for days with zero response. When he finally got back to me, there was no apology or explanation, just "I think it's best moving forward that you work with a different coach" or offered a refund(Screenshot #6）. On top of being constantly late and ghosting me, Coach Daniel went out of his way in our texts to poison my view of the entire coaching team. He constantly talked trash about his colleagues behind their backs, mocked other coaches' client progress (Screenshot #4), bragged about poaching clients from his coworkers (Screenshot #7), and tried to stir up random drama by claiming other trainers were creeping around his clients (Screenshot #8). Rather than just doing his job, he was busy gossiping, throwing people under the bus, and creating a toxic environment. I have formally reported to the Better Business Bureau (BBB Case #25170416) with full text and message record evidence. Loopkicks is honestly too good of a facility to have a coach like this. It's a pity that a quality gym like Loopkicks allows such unprofessional behavior from a coach. If you value your time and money, stay away from Daniel Nguyen.

My girlfriend and I took a class with Coach Mark, and it was a dangerous experience. I nearly broke…read moremy neck practicing flips, and my girlfriend injured her shoulder due to his poor instruction. As young adults, it shouldn't have taken us months to heal from a single class. Mark lacks basic knowledge regarding client safety and clearly cares more about collecting fees than protecting his students. Furthermore, he and his staff lack formal training; they started as a group of friends meeting at a park before turning it into a business. I highly advise against taking classes here. I am seriously concerned for the safety of others, especially children. "Only one coach seems to care about teaching. The rest just socialize--for example, one coach only seemed interested in chatting with young girls--while others simply ignore students during open gym, despite the promised professional guidance." Protect Your Safety and Your Hard-Earned Cash!

I've been coming to Inspiration Studios for many years now, and it's one of my favorite places to…read moretrain and unwind. They offer both Pole and Aerial classes, each with their own vibe and energy. Pole classes are held in Suite N and tend to have a bolder, more expressive atmosphere. Aerial classes are in Suite O and are usually calmer and more focused on flow and form. Make sure you head to the correct suite depending on your class. When you arrive, just check in with the instructor, or follow the lead of others in the room. Some instructors like to check everyone in personally, while others are more casual about it. It's a no-shoes kind of space. For Aerial, you're usually barefoot or in socks. For Pole, you're either barefoot or in heels depending on the class. I've taken a variety of classes over the years, but these days I'm more focused on Aerial. I especially want to shout out KC, who is my favorite instructor. She's clear, encouraging, and just a great teacher overall. Her classes are the perfect mix of supportive and challenging, and I always leave feeling stronger and more confident. I've been a student since the studio was called Poletential, back when it was under different ownership. It's been great to see the space evolve while still staying a welcoming and empowering place to train.

I've attended classes with Ly, Yisha, Jane, Yoko, Jo, Katya, and some other guest and sub instructors. There are a variety of classes offered for a fair price point. Each instructor has their own teaching style, but they all focus on student success and encouragement. I originally started pole dancing as a way to honor myself and my body, and with the help of the instructors, I've gained a level of self confidence that I never had. If I ever need to cancel class, Ly always checks to make sure I'm okay and asks if I need anything. Even though she has a lot of students, she's very caring and mindful of each individual. The classes are structured with a warm up, the instruction and practice, time to record/practice independently, and a cool down. The instructors provide hands on spotting throughout class and will walk you through any move to ensure safe techniques to avoid injury or troubleshoot if a move isn't working for you. Instructors will also provide simpler or more advanced variations of one move to ensure access and a challenge for each student. I am a pretty sensitive and shy person, but the community at this studio helps me break out of my comfort zone with a lot of positive encouragement. Don't BS your technique because the instructors prioritize technique and safe movements!!! The environment is so welcoming, too. I've made friends with the regular girls I see in class.
