They came , we had to work so my husband went to work late to have a verbal conversation with them about what he was asking AND sent a text recap Incase they had questions. When I got home, I was supposed to give them a check. I looked, asked them about the slope and the leveling bc it looked wrong. They said they did exactly what my husband said. He came later and checked thier work specifically to what he asked... all wrong. It wasn't 12' wide, it was 11'9" then 11'11", then 11' 8". Awful! It leaned the wrong way (we explained it HAD to be correct bc of wetlands) and it was incredible not level. The guy who did it was here with a SUPERVISOR. My husband called and complained, they said they'd be out. They came out and the same guy that was here tried arguing with me about it with a different guy saying "it can't be fixed" I got my husband on the phone as he requested. They spoke and an entire team came out... THEY STILL DID IT WRONG. It was much better but we didn't realize how steep the slope was until the shed guys came out.. LOOK AT THESE PICS. We will NEVER recommend them to anyone. COMPLETE waste of money.

Ahead of time, he explained in detail how they'd need to dig a deep trench and start the base of the wall several feet underground. The concrete would have a lattice of rebar in it and... it was more than I could understand but it sounded extremely thorough and strong. The crew did an excellent job on the wall and taking care of the surrounding property. There is a small brick wall near the big wall that was also in disrepair -- as part of their clean up, they actually ended up putting the brick wall back together better than it was before. They got to work within a couple of weeks of signing the paperwork (given how most contractors these days are slow, this was very impressive) and the work was done on schedule. I highly recommended Connecticut Masonry.

We thought by hiring a well known company for the job and paying a higher price we were sure to get a good result. The first installers installed posts that were not straight, loose from the concrete footings, not in a straight line and never returned to install the wire fence after having a technical problem with their equipment. After several failed attempted to contact them, the second installers came and installed the wire fence but left patched holes, and had not stapled the fence to several of the posts. After more complaints they sent the installers back to fix the fence and they even asked if they could use an old beam they found in our yard to help hold up 2 of the posts. Finally the job was complete, With a lot of our supervision and guidance. We will not be using them to complete another fencing job. Do not be fooled by their 5 star reviews. They do not take pride in their work and you have to supervise them to get the result you had contracted for. Disappointing, but we at least got a fence.

As a teacher, it is difficult to find time to tackle DIY projects during the school year, so I decided to call professionals to fix my driveway. Just Cracks came in with an old-school attitude. When I say old-school, I mean they cared about customer satisfaction and the quality of their work. Between plumbers, landscapers, and contractors, I have had a lot of bad experiences lately. However, Just Cracks showed me that there are still tradesmen who have pride in their work and care about the customer. They responded to me right away, made every effort to avoid being disruptive to my neighbors and I, and they cleaned up after themselves (believe it or not, that last one is rare these days). Last but not least, my driveway looks great! I'd pay double for the experience just because I was so pleased to find someone that really cared and did a great job. Highly recommend!
