As you enter there appears to be a frame shop attached. There was an older, unsmiling lady with short hair busy in that area. She made no attempt at greeting or pleasantness. I am not familiar with the store so I asked one of the two employees up front if they could help me in finding the paints and canvas. With a roll of the eyes they pointed in the general direction and told me to "go look over there", then went back to their important conversation with the fellow employee. After finding that they didn't have exactly what I was looking for I continued to look around. I did find a few little items I am going to use for Christmas and took them to the counter. Again being made to feel like I was interruption their conversation, the cashier checked me out. Then without so much as a thank you or please come again the employee went right back to conversation with the fellow employee. This has never happened to me the few times I have been to Michael's, and the pricing is very close to the same.
