They towed my car from an unmarked parking spot with no signs anywhere and then the nasty mean old lady at the desk said said " it should have been common sense not to park there" I had the police come look at the spot I was towed from and they said to take it to court and I'd win for sure because I shouldn't have been towed in the first place. When I paid the lady she said there was an extra fee for a payment on my card and I told her it was fine since I will be getting the money back anyway and she said "not from us you won't!" 10/10 would recommend cutting off your own arm before ever going to this towing shop. read more

I'm just agreeing with what people typically say about them. They're shady and hostile, they will damage your property, and they will try to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. I'm a personal injury attorney in the area and deal with tow companies all the time, but I've never seen a company this bad. Apparently, it's the norm, too. Better Business Bureau has reviews about Lynn's employees threatening to murder them. As hostile as they were with me, I apparently still got fairly lucky. I called Lynn's for an estimate and talked with Lisa. She gave me the estimate, but told me I'd be better off with a towing service that charged by the hour rather than by the mile, and then went and talked to her drivers to get the name of a good service that does that. When I thanked her and expressed surprise, she reminded me of the movie "Miracle on 24th Street" and said she was just doing that to help people get the best deal they could. As a result of her actions, I will definitely use this service if I ever need it locally and I'll recommend it to anyone and everyone when I'm asked, or even when I'm not! I'll advertise for them. Getting great customer service starts with being a great customer. While I was there, i saw the young lady being verbal cussed out, blamed threatened, you name it. she tried answering questions while being ganged up on and talked over. The guy didn't have ID, the car wasn't in his name, but yet he demanded his belongings out of the car. Supposedly he "bought" the car and had a bill of sale" somewhere ". What I saw/heard was, he parked his car in firelane, security where he lives called them to impound it. (he says less than 30 seconds) She pointed out Security called and driver arrived 38 mins later. His bill was 308, he demanded a discount, she explained the prices are set by a council with the WSP, they have no authority discount the WSP set pricing. He then wanted to get his stuff out of car & stick them with the car & bill. She explained he would need to prove ownership, then she could escort him back. He flipped out on her! People! SHE didn't park the car, SHE didn't fail to transfer the car into his name when he bought it! She didn't set the prices for a impound or storage. She kept her cool I thought pretty dang good until He threatened HER family. She asked him to leave, leave now! His parting shot was I'm going to tell everyone what a scam this is! I'm leaving you a bad review!! So I am letting everyone know, the people behind the counters are just people doing their jobs. Lynn's towed my car after my car was parked for 20 minutes in improper parking area, that was my bad. After talking to a dispatcher over the phone to figure out where was car was and how I needed to proceed to get it I headed over to the tow yard. As I showed up the door was locked as it was after hours, I saw someone inside and I signaled to him I wanted to talk to him so I could try and get my car. I walked around to the open garage where I was greeted by the employee yelling at me to " back the fuck up, I'll knock you the fuck out if you don't back up right now!" I kept trying to explain to the guy I was only here to pick up my car as directed. Needless to say I was shocked by their professionalism and customer service. This place a is complete scam. They don't care about the people involved what so ever. They have a 100$ after hours fee they will make you pay whether you get your car back or not. I came to pick my car up on the weekend cause it was towed and I was unable to get it back when I sent my dad to get my car back for me later that day they charged him 200$ on top of the 400$ they charged already for an after hours fee because I talked to someone 2 times. They didn't inform me if I just waited til Monday morning I would only have to pay one 100$ charge they also didn't tell me I had to have the registered owner with me to get my car back when I asked what I needed to do to get my car back, hence how I got 2 100$ after hour fees. Very interesting how you are a 24 hour service that is closed on the weekend and charge an extra 100$ to even talk to someone or get your car back on the weekend and they will leave if you are 1 minuet late to the appointment you have to schedule to get your car back and charge you the fee anyway. They only care about money and are horrible people with horrible customer service. read more

Biggest scam artists ever. Dad's suburban was towed on Halloween night from Chandler's Bay Apts. in Kent for being parked in a fire lane. Tow distance was exactly 0.6 miles. We called the number to find out how much it'd be to release the truck. Nicole advised us it'd be $351 to pick it up next business day or $491 if we picked it up tonight. When questioned about the rate difference, we were told, after midnight they charge after hours fee. We contacted Lynn's towing between 10-11 pm. At this point, I am confused. So we ask, why would we wait until after midnight to pay an after hours fee when we can just come pick it up now? She advised, none of the tow truck drivers know how to do releases, only she does and she's in Tacoma with a kid and the next available appt to release a car would be at midnight. Ok wtf? I also asked what their business hours were? According to her they're Mon - Friday 8 to 5 even though their website and all the signs they have plastered everywhere say "Open 24 hours". Nicole also said the truck was towed an hour ago, someone called them and told them the truck was parked illegally, I don't believe this for one second seeing as the truck wasn't blocking anyone nor was the truck parked in the spot for that long. After hanging up with Nicole, we decide to drive to Lynn's towing since it was so close and to be sure the truck was at the location. When we arrived, the suburban was in the process of being off loaded into their garage. So the whole "truck was towed an hour ago" was a lie. At this point, we are now sitting in the parking lot waiting for Nicole to show up to process the truck in then release it to my father. When it was all said and done, he was charged a grand total of $504. Screw this company for not waiving their bullshit "after hours" fee or storage fee. The truck was stored all of 15-20 mins, they charged 3% extra to use a debit card since we didn't have cash (as if people are walking around with wads of money on them!), Not to mention only being towed 0.6 miles! Biggest rip off ever! Please be careful of this company!! read more

Lisa was very rude this morning as I came to pick up our car which had been towed from Renton early hours of the morning, for not displaying my Aunt's handicap placard in clear view. I don't question whether or not it was right or wrong to tow, however questioned $390 fee for pick up. She immediately started to raise her voice as I politely questioned why it would cost so much. She then began to shout that I had no right to question her because I was not the registered owner of this vehicle. This is a rental as I am an out of town guest visiting my Aunty from Hawaii, I am assisting her by transporting her and felt it was neccessary to give an explanation to such charges. Today, I am proud to say I am from a culture who possessess the Aloha spirit, and humbled as a business owner to ALWAYS treat others who are right or wrong with respect. I hope you folks at Lynn's Towing will also find it in Gods good grace to treat ALL of your customers with a service of Aloha. Lisa, I apologize that you had to come in on your day off to assist me with my car, and hope you consider a new source of income. This place is gaining a reputation of being a family of thieves. Brian Fahsholtz veteran owner employs them all. Occasionally Grandpa even comes to shop. Looking for a certain vehicle? Derrick will hook you up in no time. Lisa a non family member who works the office and has been known to tidy things up, keeping the paper trail clean. Eventually Lisa will be the fall guy when they get busted. But it"s NOT there problem she did not process the documents according to WAC's RCW's. I was told Lisa was one of Derrick's girlfriends. I have worked with her, but she's not the one he is usually toting around at the auction. So be sure to ask her directly about the paperwork. Depending if she slept the night before or not determines her attitude that day. Looking for a specific car your at the right place. Just put your order in with Derrick while Lisa holds the cash and you will eventually find what you were looking for at an affordable price. Occasionally you will pick one up without a title consider this a red flag. It seems to happening here more frequently. They are currently under investigation for selling stolen vehicles, and switching plates and vin numbers on vehicles that sold for scrap . Stealem Strippem Sellem. The Fahsholtz Family Moto. They get paid you get busted. Claiming they are a vetted company that was called out to perform a specific service. Language is haunty. But covers there ass while you get your vehicle seized and you loose your money. Leave your belongings at home, if they tow you your personal belongings they won't be in the vehicle when you go to retrieve it. They have garage sales and craigslist for you to re buy your stolen property back inquire in office for current location day date and time. On auction days Derrick will be available to sell you, batteries and keys that actually fit and start the vehicle or other car assessories like the sterio that fits so well you would have sworn it came out of the vehicle you just bought. You might even find a key that will work for that truck or car you have at home. They will deny your stuff was ever stolen it was gone, not there when they towed it. Looking you straight in the face w/o blinking an eye. But thats easy for them no sleep and dry eyes, Or you maybe told your personal belongings were kept for balance of of tow bill. I was given a price to pick up my vehicle on Monday, I called on Saturday and was told I could come in the afternoon to pick up my vehicle, it was more than the price had I waited tell Monday. Monday was a holiday. I paid for my vehicle on Saturday. However it would not start. I sold it back to Lynns towing for 50.00. However the owner Brian did not give me the 50.00. So, I called on Monday and Lisa told me the paper work was not signed by a notary and they now did not want the car and I was to come get it. I sent my family members to go get it and they would not release it to them. I called Lynns towing at 5:15pm and spoke to another lady who said the car had be moved outside and I could come get it know. But, I would need to come get soon it or it would be towed again costing me towing fees and storage fees. I will let you make your own judgment of this company. read more

I will first start by saying the review is based entirely on the office staff person, she was the worse! My disabled mother's car was towed from her apartment complex, Indigo Springs the night before. The towing of the car was completely justified; therefore, we could not be mad. My sister left the car in the fire lane to help my mother into the complex because there is no wheelchair ramp near her assigned disabled parking spot. Since my mother is the owner of the vehicle, she was required to come down in person to pay the fee. I escorted my mother down to Lynn's without her walker because I have a very small car and I would not fit. As I help my mother through the door, I noticed there were no chairs in the customer area. So, I asked the young lady if my mother could return to the car to complete the paperwork once her identity had been verified and she responded rudely with NO. Then I asked her if she could provide a chair from the office which is literally 2 feet away and she said no again rudely. Now my mother is forced to lean on the counter of the office to complete a transaction that took almost 30 minutes. For the life of me, I could not understand why a human being would deny a disabled person, who could barely walk, and dependent on oxygen a chair. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this company to my worse enemy. BTW, I am along with several residents will be petitioning the complex to seek a new tow company. read more

Worst experience ever and to top it all off it was around midnight on New Years day. Our car was towed at our friend's apartment complex and so were multiple cars, they continued towing cars all night from what we could see. The part that makes it worst is that all of my baby's things were in there: car seat, bottles, formula. When we called, they said they were closed and would have to wait till the morning to pick up the car and we wouldn't even be able to get out stuff inside of it. I was very upset because I couldn't even come pick up my baby's things? Take my car fine, but do not take my baby's things away. They told me they were closed yet you guys are able to tow cars all night AND you picked up the phone? What a scam. I even went there to see if I could find someone nice enough to even just let me get my stuff out of the car but as soon as we walked up to one of the tow trucks, he drove off. How shameful can you be and to not even accommodate for me to pick up my baby's FOOD? How was I supposed to take her home? I couldn't without a car seat. I had to stay at my friends house and no stores were open for me to buy formula or a bottle so we had to make it work somehow. It's disgusting the type of people that are behind this establishment, all they care about is the money they're making from keeping these cars in their lot. read more

The worst place to deal with. Ever. For starters, they can't get their hours straight and when we showed up when told, they refused to open the door. This was followed by several phone calls to a woman who "wasn't supposed to be working" but was there after anyways. Extremely rude and then proceeded to hang up on me. Twice. This was all in the midst of outrageous threats of price spikes and her lying about the fact that she had photos of the car parked illegally. She then claimed that she had called the truck driver who towed the car to sort all of this out. We then waited for a little while to see a new couple show up who had also been told that they needed to show up at the same time as we were. We stood outside with the other couple and had a conversation about why we were each there only to watch the woman, who was in the front window, ignore the man who was also trying to get his car back. This was about the point that the police pulled up. We explained to the police the entire situation and found out that we had been reported for being "verbal" on the phone. Long story short, I still don't have the car, and I'm going to end up owing over 1,000 dollars for a car that is currently only worth 3,000. Don't deal with this business. read more
