I went to get my lashes done and let's just say no way in hell did she use lash glue this stuff had a smell and it was running plus I had to hold a damn fan for it to dry. I ended up in the hospital three times and thy couldn't remove the lashes my eyes was bad looked like someone hit me in both eyes. I have rarely written a negative review, but I had to warn others. I went here for a pedi and was treated so absolutely rudely I couldn't wait to get out of there. After running my own service based business where customer service is my #1, I know how it is to work with people. And I have been getting mani/pedis for decades, and this was not about a language barrier, as I always have previously enjoyed my pedis whether the person spoke my language or not. This was about toxic energy and someone who does not enjoy her work and takes it out on the customer. When a women (or man) wants to pamper themselves they are looking to be treated with kindness and respect and to relax. I received the opposite of that from Station #8. Where I come from my pedi is $45 to $50, and takes up to an hour, with at least a 5 minute massage. This one was over in less than 30, with a 20 second? massage, and zero human connection that felt less than harsh. When I opted out of the mani (not wanting her to touch me any more than needed at this point), she says "out of my chair! You wait over there, while motioning to a chair across the way." It was such a bizarre experience and I was glad it was over. I have never felt less welcomed into a business. However, the person accompanying me seemed to have a more gentle experience with another woman, so perhaps all is not lost for this place, but watch out for #8! I will never be back! And I hope people who have never experienced anything else, know now that this is not an acceptable standard of mani/pedi, and keep searching as there are people who love what they do, and enjoy even connecting with their patrons! read more

I went there today cause my regular was closed they seem to be very cheap with there product they don't use much on your nails so in turn they will easily break. They didn't even take all of the old polish off you can see it through my new polish. And some of the nails aren't completely straight probably my last time going especially cause they charged 38.00 for a refill read more

Please Share!! So I wasn't going to call this nail salon out because I thought they were going to do the right thing, turns out they are not so here we go. I went to Lynn's Nails in Allentown, I don't know the area well but I had went to the mall and it had good reviews. I called to see if they could take me, I needed my old set soaked off and a new set on. I should have known when I walked in the door to turn around, very dirty, nail dust everywhere, but I really needed them done so I decided to stay. A woman started working on my nails to remove my old set but then her appt must have showed up so they put me on the side to soak them off. I SAT SOAKING FOR AN HOUR! They worked on their other clients and just let me sit there way longer than necessary. Finally the woman takes me to do my nails, she is on the phone THE ENTIRE TIME. Never took time to ask me what I wanted. I knew I shouldn't ask for anything crazy because this was not the place, so I asked for simple matte black with black powder acrylic. She starts applying the acrylic and it is a mess, clumpy running, she switched brushes multiple times all while on her phone. They were a disaster, all different lengths and shapes. At this point I have been there for 2 hours and I look worse than when I went it. I knew they would have to be redone so when she went to clear cap them I said no, I had to go. This is where even more fun begins, they charge me $60 for this mess!! I just wanted to cry, I wanted to pay and leave so I gave her my card. She told me it would be an additional $1.25 to use my card and looks in my wallet and says you have cash!! WTF?! I only had $45 in cash, she said ok ill take that and charge $15, ummmm no?? So she goes to charge my card and charges $661.25!! Then says it's ok I refunded and charges the 61.25!! She overdrafted my account twice! This was Thursday, its now Monday and my bank confirmed there is no refund in place. I told them to refund all of my money, both charges and I would let this go but they insist I owe the $61.25 do let me attach some pics so you all can see what I had to pay for, I will say I did not let them clear cap because they were a mess so that's why they look scratchy but look at the lengths and shape! So now here I am fighting with my bank to try and get my money back. Ill also post a picture of the fix. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! read more

i went here earlier today and i got a pedicure for me, my sister, and very short full set for my other sister. when the man went to charge me he told me the pedicures were $40 each, which i knew from the sign, but he said the full set was $50 which is confusing to me because the nails were not even an inch long. so my price should've been around $130 when it's time to pay he shows me the total which says $140. when i go home and look at my bank account it shows i was charged $169!!! i've never been so mad that is so unacceptable, how was i charged a whole extra almost $40? i definitely do not recommend, the wait time is so bad and they use the same nail supplies (nail filers, cuticle cutters, feet scrapers) on everyone with only rinsing it in the water our feet were soaking in. not a good place at all. read more

I liked them when i first went here because they do a great job on the pedicures however, they charge you so much money for your nails. First of all the base charge for a refill says 18 and up yet somehow you pay more that $40 each time. They charge for the shape, they charge for having medium nails and call it long. They charge for literally every thing. I decided to get get over my natural nails that i already shaped into a coffin, and was very short... The price $70 for a pedicure and a gel manicure ! She charged me for the shape.. That i already did ON MY OWN, before going there. Ridiculous. I paid the same amount of money when i had medium nails. Im confused on how. Went there yesterday and made an appointment days before because I didn't want to be waiting for a while due to social distancing. Still had a lot of people waiting for manicure. I was getting pedicure with my daughter so we did not have to wait long. I saw no sanitation going on at all especially between customers. No chairs being wiped down from previous customer who had a pedicure and the tools to cut your nails and cuticles were just rinsed off in the sink. Owner is very nice and they do a fairly good job but was freaked out about the lack of sanitation due to COVID! Be careful because they are not! read more

Extremely disappointed with this place. I received a gift certificate and used half of it once, then the women put an expiration date on it with out telling me, I went to go use it again and they didn't take it. I had to pay in full. After noticing I was upset she said I could use it next time I came in. The next time I came in she gave me 5 dollars of when the certificate was for 40. After months of not going to another salon, I needed a quick color change. I called ahead and asked if they had time for it, she replied yes, when I arrived the place was packed. I asked how long of a wait and she said "don't worry, just pick a color". I sat there for 50 minutes. Then he did a quick and sloppy job on my nails. If I could give this place less than one star I would! The owner who always answers the phone will tell you to come in even if you call ahead to make sure they're not backed up, only to get there and make you wait for six other people who walked in. After calling way ahead and being told they would be able to do my manicure, the owner says she has 6 other people ahead of me. Another customer next to me started complaining about the same issue after calling ahead and being made to wait forever. Would not recommend unless you have endless time to waste waiting around. read more

I started going to Lynn's nails a few months ago and I really like it there. The wait is not long and they take their time on your nails and do a good job. Very friendly and the place is very clean. I like how they put the plastic in the but before you soak your feet. I will keep going there for my manicure and pedicures. read more

I am new to the Allentown area and it has been such a struggle for me to find a great nail tech and salon that I love. I googled nail salons near me and searched for a place with great reviews and I came across Lynn's nails. I decided to come here and I have to say I have no regrets!!!! I am very particular about my nails! I love all the trendy styles and truly look for great quality anywhere I go. When I came here I did a pedicure and a full set with design. I enjoyed my experience so much that day I told my husband to come and get a service as well. This salon is very clean, which I love and know is very important ! I was extremely impressed when I went for my pedicure and saw that they use sterile bags in their pedicure bowls. Great brownie points for that. Then I also got a full set. This is where I fell in love ! The nail tech I go to is Tina! She is amazing and will be my go to from now on! I went for a second time already for my birthday nails and again, SHE SLAYED! This place sucks I just got done getting gel nails and toes done the lady there cut me twice the man working had to jump in and take over and after that I had asked for discount and they argued saying they never cut me but there was blood and she washed it away.
