I had dropped my iPhone without it's case on and the screen shattered pretty badly. I went to the iPhone specialty store here in Logan and they wanted to charge Me $145 for the repair, hold onto my phone for 5 DAYS, and charge me another $20 to give me a loaner phone so I can keep my business running for those five days. When I asked them why on earth it takes them five days, they simply told me that they provide iPhone materials and that if I go anywhere else my screen won't work. So... didn't answer my question. I ended up going to Lynn's, and it was a little more than $100 and they had it ready and perfect in 90 minutes. I was also informed that the reason the other place takes 5 days is because they ship it in to apple, they don't even do the repair themselves. I've not had any problems or concerns with my screen, so these guys are amazing. They're all very helpful, knowledgeable, and, I might add, quite handsome ;) Thanks Lynn's! Don't take anything to Lynn's. We took my truck in because the back-up camera wasn't working. They told me it needed a whole new camera and wiring ($500). I took it to another place and they reconnected the wires in 15 minutes and didn't even charge me a dime! Dishonest or unqualified??? read more

Very disappointed with Jeremy. Installed an amplifier, stereo, and subwoofers in my truck. I was very specific about not installing the amp under the back seat. So, they installed the amp under the back seat. No big deal at that point. Jeremy said he would fix it. Once I got home I found they never put the screws back in my dash either. I took it back to correct both issues. When I went to pick it up Jeremy wanted to charge more money. We augured for a bit. Even though it was their mistake Jeremy insisting that it took them more time and I should pay. It wasn't until I told him to forget doing any more work for me that he offered not to charge me the additional fees (I had another $1000 in speakers lined up to get from them). Even though it was BS I paid the money because he had made such a big deal about it. Went to leave and found that they never put the screws back in my dash (again). Was super pissed off at this point. When back in to find my screws.. Instead of apologizing and finding my screws Jeremy wanted to make some rude under his breath comments. I will never go back. Their car-audio technicians are very knowledgeable. They hire the best and brightest for their installation work. Jeremy the Owner's son is very kind to work with. Their prices aren't good, and they need to be more willing to match other competitors prices, or else at least offer free installation. Considering the markup, they should be able to absorb the installation fees into it. I bought a $4,000 car stereo setup there, and they still didn't offer free installation. I know nothing is free, but considering the amount of money that they made that day in markup, I wish they could have paid someone their days wage for 8 hours to do that installation, rather than charging me 4x that persons days wage to do the work in addition to the price of the parts. While their labor is very good, and things are installed professionally, cleanly, and done right, just keep in mind you do pay a premium that is sometimes hard to justify, even to oneself. Their project manager for their business support tends to drop the ball. I have to continually call ever few weeks to check up on a project. I think they need to manage that better. read more

Very disappointed with the service we received. Brought in a flatscreen television that would no longer turn on. After a $50 analysis, we purchased $120 worth of repair parts. After having those installed, the problem remained, and their analysis was proven wrong. The parts have decreased in value, and we're stuck with a broken television and out a bunch of money for nothing. If you can't deliver, or provide a bad service, you shouldn't charge for your mistake. Totally dissatisfied. read more

Don't replace your iPhone or iPad or any screen replacements here. they replaced my iPad screen for 140 bucks. It was a horrible quality. Instead of white it was yellowish and the adhesive they used made the screen bulge up which a couple months later small crack seams were on my screen from normal touches. I took it back in for them to replace and they wouldn't replace it unless I paid full price. After some arguing I paid full price to have it replaced and it's the same quality. Bulges and also there were glue spots behinds the screen where they glued it down. Horrible customer service. They don't really care about the customer only the money you give them. They should have taken the hit and replaced it for free. read more

I've dealt with these people a lot off and on over the years. From the father to the son, to the sales people, there is a lot of attitude and arrogance here, and greed rules over customer satisfaction. They aren't helpful or even genuine, they just want to push high cost items. In general their prices are high all around. Diagnosis and repair of broken electronics is very expensive, and if they're wrong, it's your loss. Car audio installations are pricey here, and while they're okay at the basic stuff, anything custom and you you'll run into delays and mistakes. I'm not sure if they still do it, but their home installations ran into the same issues. My parent's home took forever for them to wire for home theater and ethernet, and they had to redo part of it that was done wrong. I've also had to return a couple of unopened items here, the disdain they showed me was palpable. This place is barely relevant these days. It won't be long until they follow Stokes Bros into oblivion. read more

When I took it in I was told how my phone was the problem, even though I have owned it for less than six months. Simply put GO TO LYNN's FIRST! Ryan the cell phone repair tech at Lynn's is a cell phone genius! My iphone had gone dark and would not power up to save my life. I was sick because I thought I'd lost ALL my precious pictures and other data! I took my phone to two other places in town. The first place charged me $100.00 just to do a "diagnostic" they told me that that it couldn't be fixed that it was "cell phone death" "no hope". Said if I wanted my data they would have to send it somewhere and unsolder the "logic board" whatever that is...I was told this would cost at least $800.00 up to $2,000.00 to retrieve my data. Oh yes...and by the way I would need a new phone...and they just happened to have one I could buy! I was crushed. I tried another place to get a second opinion and though they didn't charge me as much their verdict was pretty much the same "software crash" "no hope" need a new phone oh ya and by the way...they also had a phone I could buy! I actually had given up on getting my data so I finally bit the bullet and filed an insurance claim. I was in agony about returning my phone with all my data "trapped" inside so I thought "OK I'll try one more place before I return the phone." Through all of this the techs at AT&T had been very kind and helpful and one of them had told me about Ryan at Lynn's. When I first spoke to Ryan on the phone he sounded so knowledgable and hopeful I liked him right away so I thought "what do I have to lose". Took the phone out to Ryan and told him my sad story and that I wasn't expecting much so I left my poor dead phone with Ryan. He called me back in less than 1 hour with "great news" not only had he diagnosed the problem but he retrieved all my data including over 700 photos!! It was the POWER BUTTON!!! I was astounded!!! Actually, Ryan was astounded also based on the hopeless picture I'd been given and the fact that it was such a BASIC problem the other places had clearly overlooked (if they even looked at all). Actually Ryan said truthfully he had it figured out in less than 5 MINUTES but he wanted to make sure he could get all my data before he called! I'm almost embarrassed to say how much he charged me...let's just say it wasn't $100.00!!!! The standard diagnostic fee at Lynn's is $40.00. I can't tell you how reasonable that is given the results! The moral of the story...GO to Lynn's FIRST...then you can avoid all the hassle I went through with the other places who clearly weren't trying too hard and probably just wanted to sell me a new phone!! Purchased a used vehicle that had radio issues. After spending too much time (over 10 hours) waiting for Lynn's to fix the issue, the radio still had original problems. I do not believe they even attempted to fix the issues. Took the vehicle to another place and found out that Lynn's did not plug in antennae amplifier which only allowed me to get only 4 channels at best. I would not go to this place even if they were the only one available. read more
