I knew that Eddie's wasn't open today and this was my only chance to get one. It's been awhile since I'd eaten here and I couldn't resist the temptation! My two dogs were a solid three stars and I'll most likely return. Logan Street has been serving good hotdog's in this same location since I was in junior high school! That's a long, long, time ago! The sandwich truly was magnificent and really well balanced/proportioned. I thought the rings were a bit under cooked, but I was fooled again! Onion was soft, well cooked, and flavorful. Fried were definitely undercooked but I don't generally eat French fries so all good. Cole Slaw was middle of the road. I struggle with a rating but sticky floors, sticky table along with a few environmental things really drag down my overall perception. Friendly/competent staff and an excellent sandwich will hold a steady rating of three. Would I eat there again? It is on of the few unique non-chains in the area and I know what to expect going in. Make no mistake about it, the people who work here (although very nice) have been trained to be a bit shady when possible. Today I ordered a large tray of food (added a picture) and was handed a small cup. The large tray comes with a giant cup. I confronted the order taker and he said the people taking orders and payment have been instructed to hand out small cups unless the customer says something about it. He then gave me a giant cup. Is this ethical? I think not! Just another way to save the company some money. They will up charge your pants off! Buyer Beware! I still gave this visit three stars as the restaurant was very clean and the food was good; especially the fried okra!
