Although it is in the town which I have lived for eleven years, yesterday (7/12/19) was the first time I ever visited Aegean Pizza. A co-worker and I went there on a whim, both first time visitors and we both left agreeing that we would return. We were seated quickly and the service was quite good, given the locality (I will explain that momentarily). A lot of things on the menu looked good, but having never visited, I made the safe choice of a small pepperoni pizza, while my co-worker chose a sub of some sort. The food was really, really good! Have you ever visited a place, taken one bite and decided that you would come back? It doesn't happen often, but it did in this case. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through this area. Now, I mentioned locality earlier and here is why that matters. This is a relatively small town and as someone who runs a business here, I know all too well that good help can be hard to find. I have received much worse service from some of the chain eateries in town, so these people are clearly doing something right. Is it perfect? Nope. Do I recommend it? Absolutely! read more

The Vegetarian pizza is SO delicious! Perfect crust & plenty of toppings. Our waitress was very friendly & helpful. We love coming here, at least 1x/week. read more

Had Aegean for supper and never disappoints. I had the beef & onion pizza w/ onion rings and the pizza was cooked well and was delicious. Onion rings were very good as well along w/ superb service. read more

Aegean Pizza - Beef & onion pizza W - Pizza Near Me - Gaffney, South Carolina

The Aegean has some of the best pizza I've ever eaten! My husband and I always get a large half Super Steak (sort of like a Philly cheesesteak) and half Greek pizza. We live about 30 minutes away but it's definitely worth the trip to get pizza no one else has. Also, the cannoli and baklava are the best I've ever had!! read more

Stopped at a hotel in the area and found this local restaurant offering outstanding specialty pizzas and Italian dishes. We ordered a small pizza to go and it ranked right up there with the best NY pizza and comparable to what we had in Italy. The price was as good as the pizza! Although we didn't eat there, the place was very inviting and we definitely intend to go back for a sit down dinner on our return trip. Our only regret is this we didn't find this place sooner. read more

I used to take a client to Aegean and it was great. Went last night and the only thing worse than the pizza was the service - darn shame

Place was inexpensive. Food was edible for the price. Service was very affable. I would revisit if in area again. read more

I gave the Aegean Pizza restaurant a 3 star review! I don't like Greek spices ! I got a rather nice looking hamburger steak to go. It also came with fries! Being fair to this place ; many people in Gaffney,S.C. absolutely love the Aegean ! I suppose that a person has to acquire a taste for Greek food. I could only eat half of my entree. The fries were even seasoned with some kind of Greek tasting salt! But conversely; my wife enjoyed her meal! The very same thing that I got! Exactly! In summation: The Aegean Pizza would get a 5 star review from my better half and most of the people in my town! It's nothing personal at all; I just personally didn't like my food, not one little bit ! The food was prepared perfectly; to order! There was an ample amount of food for the money! Very reasonable prices indeed ! In closing; a person who has developed a love for Greek food would love this place ! It's spotless; the prices are very fair for what you get; every person I encountered was very friendly and helpful! I'm not sure that I should have even done this review! I'm probably the only person in our immediate area that really doesn't like anything Greek : food wise that is ! read more

The best Pizza and Steak Sub in town. Has been our go to for almost 15 years. Always a pleasure to deal with and our order is always right the first time. These days that's saying a lot. read more

This is an average pizza joint located in the metropolitan area of Gaffney on a cold 44 degree rainy night. The decor was warm and open 9 out of 10. The staff was friendly and fast 8 out of 10. The food came out fast and warm 7 out of 10. The food was kind of bland. The bathrooms were 10 out of 10, I felt secure in there. read more

Pizza was kind of greasy and wings were pretty much soggy with very little sauce. Hours are kind of weird too but it's primarily because of staffing issues (Per management). read more

Location location location. If you are from a town with coal-fired brick oven cooked pizza where they serve Spanish style on the raised pie platforms and you have some tapas and house chianti while you wait for the pizza. Well, you are maybe going to say not that great, typical greek place or something like that. So here are the facts; It's Gaffney SC Gaffney is the crown jewel of Cherokee county It is the BEST pizza in Cherokee county. If you order broccoli on a pizza you ruined it no matter where you bought it, so get the Margarita. They make a nice one. read more

If I could give 0 I would. Absolutely detestable interaction from manager. Rude, unwelcoming and unhelpful. Not sure if she was racially discriminating but it was horrible. You would think that in these times she would be glad to have continued business. She should be ashamed. The young lady who took my order however was absolute kind and helpful. I'm glad she does not follow the horrid example of her boss. read more

Stopped at Aegean after a long drive @4:30 P.M. Nice atmosphere. Okay service (a bit slow). However I ordered the larger-sized lasagna and found that it was actually a greasy ground beef casserole. It hardly filled the football-shaped casserole dish. Very disappointing. My wife had a Greek salad and it was large and had all of the typical ingredients. read more

One of our favorite places to go in town for everyday type food-Greek and Italian. I don't eat wheat, so I always get the Greek salad with chicken which is a very generous size for the large and loaded with lots of good stuff including Kalamata olives and feta. My husband loves their pizza and pasta dishes. One time I ordered the gluten-free pizza crust which I don't recommend. Fair prices, decor is OK but I wish they would paint the ceiling. They also have a room for large parties or meetings. read more

Great food! Seriously best cheese sticks ever! Service has always been great, quick, and courteous! I would choose here over Olive Garden!

They have the best pizzas in town. If you're tired of getting a crappy pizza with inferior ingredients from places like Domino's, you need to give their pizza a try. I've ordered pizza from them 3 times now, and I haven't been disappointed yet. They do have a lot of other menu items, most of which are outstanding. But like I said, the pizza is where this place really shines. The 4 cheese pizza has a gourmet taste, but the sharp flavor may be a little intense for some people, if they're not real cheese lovers. This is real pizza, not the cheap pseudo pizza that the major chains pass off as pizza. read more

Food is great and never had a problem but the owner will not support American troops in any way the local VA has reached out in the past for donation from many businesses to do something special for the local veterans and this place will not be a part read more

Came in, sat right down, in a 2 person booth. Had a Greek salad for lunch: good deal (the truth). Lettuce, and olives, tomatoes and peppers too, even the dressing had feta- twas Greek through and through. Most others had pizza, but I got the healthy option. For Greek food around Gaffney, come by and stop in! read more

Good pizza, however the restaurant needs a major face lift starting from the chipped plastic glasses and ending with unraveling carpet and awful looking bathroom with the sign "be careful this toilet wobbles...". Service was lazy (it was only 3 customers at that time) and we had to ask to refill our water glasses. I guess they make their money from the takeout and do not worry about restaurant's ambiance and eat-in customers. read more

Best Pizza in town. Literally. Nothing compares to the taste. And the Ranch is amazing! Always great service.

It was amazing! If you like Greek food you will absolutely love it. Aesthetics aren't very fancy but food is delicious, very reasonably priced also. read more

Came in for dinner. We were sat quickly and the waitress came over and took our order quickly. Once the food came, she parked herself in the booth opposite us and played on her phone. After she brought the food she returned to the booth, propped her feet up and stayed there until she brought our ticket....no thank you, just handed us the ticket. The food was good but no tip for her. read more

Ate there tonight, now I remember why we stopped going there. One waitress was sweeping extremely loudly around our table. I ordered lasagna. I received the salad with a very small cup of ranch dressing. I had to order another ranch which cost me .40 cent extra. The waitress brought me a small lasagna and one piece of garlic bread. I asked if I could get one more piece of bread and that was going to cost me .75 cent more. When we went to pay, I spoke to the owner who asked me, "how much do they charge you at McDonald's for extra sauce?" Bad customer service We will not return to Aegean Pizza in Gaffney, SC. read more

Good pizza. Not great pizza. It's a good but typical Greek doing Italian food place. Decent prices, convenient location on the Blvd right off the hwy. Ive noticed customer service is good seemingly only if the owners know you- otherwise it's subpar. They can improve in the customer service aspect here. read more

We came to Gaffney to attend the Camp Freightliner class - we have a class A motorhome we wanted to learn more about..... They served us hot sandwiches from Ageean - they were excellent! Stopped here to get dinner while traveling through the area. Very friendly and helpful service. Pizza was delicious (Greek) but the crust wasn't as crispy on the bottom as I like. The garlic bread appetizer was excellent. If we are through the area again we will definitely stop. read more

Just wow! If you're ever in the Gaffney area or hungry while on I85, near exit 92, stop here! I had the chicken souvlaki with roasted potatoes and it was simple and delicious. My coworker had the souvlaki platter with chicken, lamb and beef. I might add that the pita bread was the best I've ever had. Sweet waitstaff, as well. I'll be back! Great meal for less than 15 bucks. read more

Aegean's Alfredo is the bomb.com! Its my favorite anywhere...add broccoli to it and its even better!

Meh... That about sums this place up. It's pretty much what you would expect a Pizza/Greek place to be in Gaffney SC. No frills and nothing spectacular. I'm not a fan of chain restaurants at all, but I'd advise you to drive the extra block to the Olive Garden. read more

Stopped in here during my travels. Had lunch and chose the Meatball Sub. It was really good. This is the first time that I have had green peppers (good size) in the meat ball. Really good flavor. Will be back read more

Can't vouch for everything on the menu but the wife and I had their pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage & green olives for lunch. We thought it was great. It is not a thick crust pizza but we prefer the thin crust style. We will return to try some of the other choices on the menu. By the way, their unsweetened ice tea was very good. Not like the colored water you get at many places. read more

Aegean Pizza you saved my day! I'm always on the road and when it comes to finding a good spot to eat, it can become difficult. I've ordered from here quite a few times and have to say it beats any chain Italian. The dish of choice is the ziti with 5 cheese extra sauce; everything taste great. I'd skip the salad though, it's pretty much just Kraft dressing on the side. When the owner is there you'll probably get some really good food, but when he's not, it can be a bit disappointing since sometimes the food comes out on the lower than average side. I've had some food remade to what it's suppose to be. Hit or miss I guess, but good when it is! read more

Aegean's offers a wide variety of food and my friend and I try to eat lunch there twice each week. I've always liked the strombolis here. The pizza is also good. I've been around 10 times and the service can sometimes be great and other times be horrible. It's a 4 star resteraunt based just on the food, but I gave it three stars based on some of the service the resteraunt has allowed. read more

A lot of food but flavorless. Bread was fresh. The most tasty thing on my plate was ketchup. Very disappointing. I won't be returning.
