We had 2 trucks and 4 movers - Richard, Jason, John, and Bryan. They were absolutely the BEST! They were on time, very professional, thorough, efficient, friendly and handled every item with such good care that we felt very comfortable with how they prepared and loaded everything so securely! This moved included 3 bedrooms, office, living room , dining room, kitchen, breakfast room, laundry room, garage and outdoor patio furniture, trellis & grill. We had a lot more stuff to move than we had anticipated so it was a long, hard day of work for them; but they stayed upbeat and positive all day long! We would recommend them 100%!!!!!

I was past my reservation date(which was through a third party) getting to the office to actually rent a unit but the unit i needed was still available. Now, aspects that cost them a 5 rating. Mandatory insurance: 1 of two things, either they expect potential losses of property therefore ins would be a substantial concept or if company feels safe within their own environment, why are we paying for things they are not supposed to let happen?? Isnt that the basic idea of storage, a safe place to store items! That also leads to my next point..Locks! Only a disc lock is acceptable and any other has a risk of being removed?! Ill be honest here, i don't know how much of this is common storage facility policies and how much is more lot or company related. But heres the clincher, property maintenance! Area was clean but not properly maintained. Any area not paved or directly connected to the office was heavy with (i think they are refered to as bullhead) stickers, the ones that get stuck in paws and fur of 4legged friends or in shoelaces, socks, toes, pantlegs, i think you get the idea. They cover the field from fence TO the street, and include by front parking lot on property side and on street side of drainage ditch/creek running parallel with Peoria. Any body on foot to/from would have to walk in aprox 16" shoulder along side traffic on south peoria, or get feet fulls of stickers or cross Peoria in a non designated area. As a sidenote not all offers apply to all or any unit rented. Makes sense to me but further proof of-if you see it online it must be...??? An outside storage for our other 40' DP till we can get it sold & more room for our 5th wheel to sell if we do wish to do that. It is secured behind gated locked access & another lock to get into our unit. The support staff was very knowledgeable & was able to meet us & walk us through everything from parking into our unit & setting it up for payments. Glad we found this gem!!

I started paying my bill on the website just because she was so awful. I would go to pay my bill and there would never be anyone in the store. When confronted about it she said "I had a doctors appointment" if you really want to run a business you should schedule things like that after hours. Especially if you're the only one working there. I can't wait to not have to deal with this place ever again!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. On top of everything else the place gave my things roaches! I can't even keep some of my stuff because they don't upkeep their property. There was also one time that I was late on a payment and they overlocked my storage unit. This truck was not roadworthy, and that is putting it nicely…read more The doors wouldn't fully close and came open while driving more than once. The mirrors were rusted solid, un-adjustable, so I was driving blind, could not see anything. The truck could barely reach the speed limit ( I had maybe 50lbs in the back, just a few pieces of artwork that would not fit in my pickup ) and at any slight incline it would start losing power and slowing down. The steering felt as if it was about to become disconnected, there was an EXTREME amount of play. I felt unsafe driving it, and am blown away that this vehicle was signed off on and given to a customer!! When I brought this up to the employee when I returned he said it was approved by the shop and there was nothing he could do. I will never rent from U-Haul again and I will tell everyone that will listen to do the same.
