There is a body of drinking water that the town uses for its water but the trails are not super close to it. For a bit of one, you can walk near it and the views are pretty. We saw a cool bird near the water - but couldn't tell what it was. It seems like there are some swampy areas so be prepared for the bugs and don't forget to always check for ticks. So we parked in the connected lot which was super convenient... The city was serving lunch as we got there & we were offered, but we did not parktake in it... I think its a great idea to give the kids free lunch during the summer. The park was packed & I think it might have been because it was lunch time and being that they do offer free lunch... All the Treehouse like structure thingys are all a little too big for my 2 year old...He did climb one once with the assistance of the 12 year old that was with us... None of the structures had stairs to climb up (just one little section), most of the methods of climbing up were ladders or chains, and that just doesnt work for my little one... If he was a bit older this would be a perfect park, and possibly if we came at a different time or maybe after summer. Because it was PACKED! We only stayed a short time!

Located in the heart of Lynn's Hispanic neighborhoods, it is a very popular spot for families for good reason.

The entrance is free, it's a short walk, and we love a good free activity! We took some nice photos, walked around, and learned about the history of the iron works. It was a nice little outing without having to spend anything. They also have events here sometimes. I've driven by while they've had concerts and even a movie night, which I thought was pretty cool. There's also a parking lot, so it's convenient to get to. Definitely a great place to check out if you're ever around Saugus and looking for something free and easy to do!

I came here to enjoy dinner at the little seafood joint located in the park. I couldn't have asked for a better setting for my last meal on my vacation. The breeze from the harbor. The sun beaming through the fluffy clouds. I was almost too good to be true to be in such a perfect setting. But I was here, living in that moment. I couldn't have asked for a better park to eat my meal at. Everything I took in will forever be etched in my brain. A memory and feeling I will never forget.

A lovely beach on the North Shore--clean, spacious, and perfect for swimming or just relaxing on…read morethe sand. We arrived in the evening, so parking was free, however they do charge during the day. Even with the sun setting, the water was surprisingly comfortable and we were able to swim without freezing too badly. There's also a convenient bathhouse on site, and a restaurant just as you enter the parking lot. Definitely planning to come back on a hot summer day and soak in the sun.
