We arrived in the evening, so parking was free, however they do charge during the day. Even with the sun setting, the water was surprisingly comfortable and we were able to swim without freezing too badly. There's also a convenient bathhouse on site, and a restaurant just as you enter the parking lot. Definitely planning to come back on a hot summer day and soak in the sun.

Red Rock Park over looks Kings Beach in Lynn…read more This is a popular place for tourists and locals alike to sit in a grassy park atmosphere and enjoy fabulous views over looking Kings Beach with beautiful ocean views all the way to Egg Rock. Picnicking is allowed but no open flames. You will see events happening here all season from movie nights to small concerts, to school events etc. This is a great place for those with fair skin to enjoy the ocean as there are many trees to give full protection from the sun. Pack a lunch and head on down to Red Rock Park and enjoy all the ocean has to offer. FYI there are no bathrooms available and food is approximately a mile down the street. This is a solid 4 Star Ocean Park.

I love coming here and it kind of creeps up on you when you're in the middle of a neighbourhood, and the next thing you know you're driving by this tiny beach and then it's gone and you're in Marblehead. There are too many memories to mention. All fabulous! This is basically a private neighborhood beach run by the Point of Pines Beach Association. The Association is funded by donations from the residents.. Gor anyone that's lucky enough to live in the Point of Pines being on this Beach should double the value of your home as it's like you're in Cape Cod year round. If you know anyone that lives in this neighborhood make sure that you make your way down here this summer and enjoy your day at the beach. FYI there is absolutely no street parking at all what so ever.. consider yourself warned. Tickets are hefty I give Point of Pines Beach a Solid 5 Stars

Both sides of the small sandy beach are very rocky almost Cliff like. This is the type of beach if you want to get away from everything and everybody it's definitely the place to hide out for a day and enjoy Mother Nature. If you like to explore bring some really good rock climbing shoes as the rocks are slippery and dangerous make sure you do not climb alone. Remember if you do not have a resident parking sticker there is absolutely no parking for blocks and blocks however with a resident sticker there are seven parking spots that's right only seven. If you're lucky enough to come here you can enjoy the view from four park benches located on the grassy area overlooking the beach. For the dog lovers please leave your loved ones at home as no dogs are allowed on this beach it is strictly enforced. I love Canoe Beach as it is one of the last beaches on the North Shore that you can count on nobody being there when you arrive. You will have a private beach all to yourself. So please remember if you plan on climbing on the rocks have somebody with you because they are slippery and dangerous. This is a great beach to enjoy a sunrise or sunset. The local police usually will not bother you on during a sunrise but they will ask you to leave as the sun sets especially if you're parked illegally. Canoe Beach easily gets awarded 5 Stars ‼
