    Lynda's #2

This review is for Lynda's 2, across the street from Bahia Tacos. Arriving here was a happy accident caused by a chillin Lyft driver. Taco Tuesday that's all you need to know. 2 fish tacos and 2 shrimp tacos for $12?!? Good luck finding a better deal! Salsa was fresh and spicy, chips warm, and ambience chill. I was greeted by a smiling woman, let's assume she's Lynda #2 in the flesh because she was clearly in charge. She even tolerated my guerro Spanish speaking.

This place a hidden gem! So good. Not the most affordable place but that's because the ladies making your food don't play! The food is really good home made. They have a big clientele that come regularly and buy out. You order your food sir and eat them you pay at the end! They accept debit / credit card for a small fee. I've been here twice already I recommend them

2 Pupusas de frijol y queso

Delicious food with friendly service. My wife and I got 2 pupusas de frijol y queso, 2 pupusas de loroco, tamal de puerco, y desayunos platanos. Everything was delicious and cooked fresh. We ordered the food to-go, and it was still hot when we got home. The tamal was a little bit too mushy, but the taste was excellent. We would happily come back again.

A cold beer & lots a great salsa & chips!

Finally found a Salvadoran restaurant close to my workplace. I came across this place on Yelp and I am so glad I chose to go to lunch and get pupusas. The wait was about 20 mins for 6 pupusas but it was worth it. The pupusas are pretty big and the price is justified. The taste is on point and they do not skimp out on the cheese. At most Salvadoran restaurants, the service is either rude or they are not very friendly but not here, the women are so sweet and make sure to greet their customers. I love quesadillas Salvadoreñas and I got a pack of 4 minis. Will definitely be back to try their other items and drinks (atole) yum.

AMAZING! the caldo chefs kiss! The pupusas are amazing I recommend cheese and pork! U have to try this! Service on top! The wait time is worth it! I recommend calling so when you get there it's ready!

Sope, carne asada ($2.75) - 3 stars. The sope and the meat were a bit dry. Wed dinner 2017-05-17

I live 25 mins away so if I'm in the area or passing through I'll call in my order of at least 10 pupusas. It's always piping hot and ready when I get there. It looks like a 1 superwoman show in there as she takes orders and makes the pupusas too. She's super nice & speaks English. My family LOVES pupusas and they are in the top 3 pupusa spots we've ever had. I've only ordered the revueltas (chicharron, beans and cheese) pupusas but there are a ton of different ones. She puts a ton of the cabbage salad (curtido) and plenty of the salsa roja in plastic bags. It gives me a little anxiety though as I feel like they'll leak, but they haven't yet! Maybe next time, I'll remember to bring containers and ask her to put the curtido and salsa in my containers instead of the plastic bags.

Until a fiend that lives in the area mentioned this little hole in the wall. I recommend you follow them on Instagram or call before you come. Looks like they aren't open consistently. However, this has became our just pupusas spot. Yes each pupusas is $5, but they are evenly filled. The curtido is fantastic and the salsa has a nice kick to it. Phone orders are usually 20 minutes. I've never waited more than 15 minutes when I do a walk up order.

This is always on the list because the food is great and the owners are wonderful. They've genuinely become friends of my parents. Ambiance Clean and unpretentious. Nothing fancy -- just booths, tables, and the sense that you're about to be served something really good. Service Warm, kind, and attentive. This is a small family business, and it shows in the best possible way. We owe it to places like this to seek them out and keep coming back. Quality like this deserves to survive. Food It's amazing. The menu is a mix of Salvadoran and Mexican dishes -- pupusas, of course, and all of them are great. But don't sleep on the soups, which are really something special. I've been on a health kick lately so I usually go for the fajita chicken or a simple chicken breast. Both come with rice, beans, and homemade corn tortillas -- warmed up, thick, and absolutely worth the trip on their own. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're ever in the area!

Noticed we had this spot close to our home on Friday and decided to go on Saturday since they were already closed by 5PM. The location is basically hidden away in a commercial business area. The inside is small and honestly a little warm for me but I find most Salv locations like to keep their places warm feeling? Simple solution is just take your food back home lol The guy at the cash register was very nice and offered mixing spinach with zucchini when i couldn't pick between the two options. He brought us out some cookies while we waited along side our drinks. I got the ensalada and Jamaica. I preferred the ensalada as it was a little less sweet. I did want their empanadas with custard filling but they didn't have any My husband got the chicharron pupusas and i got the revueltas. I enjoyed both and honestly you can never go wrong with the mixed. To take home we added some zucchini and spinach ones and honestly those were a great add on with the revueltas. I did find their cortido to fuck me up a bit with all the spices, but I'm just sensitive to that sort of stuff so if you have some sensitivity issues with spices beware! The tomato sauce was good, I'm not sure if they have a spicy version but might be needed for some people. Other than that great place, the food wasn't too oily and the service was great. Also please make a mental note that the orders are made as they're ordered so it can take a minute for food to be ready. Order in advance if you're in a hurry!
