Delicious, the service is amazing the employees are welcoming an nice, the pupusas are worth a try I've had bean and cheese as well as The chicharrón and beans worth a shot to try read more

First time trying this place. The tamales are horrible. They have absolutely no flavor. We tried both the chicken and pork and both of them were completely flavorless to the point where we had to add our own salt (a significant amount) in order to finish them. The pork was filled with mostly potato and peppers, at $5.50 a tamale they can definitely afford to add more meat. We had one tamale left over so we brought it home to eat the next day. We opened it up and there were large pieces of cartilage in it that we could not eat. (Disgusting) Pupusas are good but nothing special we tried the asada with cheese and the pork with cheese. About $6.50-$7 each. Service is slow and food takes a while to come out to you. Servers are really stuck up and act like they're better than you. (You work fast food, get over yourself) I wouldn't come back or recommend this place to anyone honestly. read more

I do not recommend this place. It's a really bad service. The servers are rude. they're never nice. They're never smile.. They just take your order and walk back to the bar to talk among them. but if it's a group of guys, they are really nice and check on their table constantly. So you guys really got to work on your customer service especially if it's a family not because it's a group of men. read more

I've been coming to this place for years and I have always loved it and I've recommend it to a lot of people. However in my last 2 visits I've been disappointed, both times we ordered pupusas of queso/chicharrón and queso/loroco and I haven't been able to taste neither chicharrón o loroco, they might not be putting enough in their pupusas to save money but I'm willing to pay a bit more than just tasting tortilla with repollo. I hope they can correct this because I used to love this place. read more

I've been a regular customer here for a long time, but after today's experience, I don't plan on coming back. Unfortunately, the woman with the blonde curly hair has consistently been rude and disrespectful to me every time I've visited. Customer service has never been welcoming, and today was the final straw. When I got home, I found a long blonde hair in my food. It was extremely disappointing and completely ruined my meal. Given my past experiences with the employee, this left me feeling very uncomfortable, although I can't say how the hair ended up in my food. I expected much better, especially as a loyal customer. Between the poor customer service and the lack of care with food preparation, I can no longer recommend this place. read more

Hair in BOTH plates of food. Contacted the restaurant and they always say the manager isn't there and had me send the photos and image of my receipt to their phone number through text only to never contact me back. Called again and same answer. Went in person and offered me a 25% discount for hair in my food that I could not eat. $40 down the drain. When I asked for their managers number they refused. Reported to the BBB and also reporting to the San Bernardino County Environmental Health Services. Truly horrible customer resolution.

Food was pretty good here. My husband and I have our favorite pupusaria in Riverside but we decided to come here to try it out, and here are the results. Maiz pupusas: I love the filling, especially since it's cheesy. I didn't like the fact that the filling didn't reach all the way to the rim of the pupusa. So basically you'll be bitting into chunks of masa at the ends with no filling. We got revuelta, queso con lorroco and calabasa con queso. Chicharron con yucca frita: Dry/overcooked, not a lot of flavor. Also, very disappointing that they did not have the correct curtido to go with it. Beef Pastelitos: I loved them. My husband said they were "aight" because they put cheese in them. I personally have not ever eaten pastilitos with cheese in them but I thought they were delicious. De Arroz pupusas: one queso con lorroco and one revuelta. Pupusas de arroz are not my favorite, but I took a bite of each and thought they were pretty good. Pupusas de arroz are my hubbys fav and he said they were lacking a bit in flavor. Salvi chili relleno plate: My hubby absolutely loves chili rellenos (Salvi and Mexican). He said that since the beef was ground beef it wasn't that great. I loved the flavor and I like ground beef but I can see what he means about the beef not being trocitos. Drinks: I got the ensalada and I loved it! I love that it tasted like they put time and love into blending fruits for the juice base. Some ensaladas are made with an instant/powder base and then fruit was just added, but this one tastes legit . I also got the atole de elote, it was . So good! My hubby got the salvi horchata and the flavor just wasn't there. It tasted like instant/powder quality. The morro flavor wasn't there. It tasted a bit more like Mexican horchata with a vanilla/cinnamon taste. Still good though :) Lastly, Empanadas: we ordered both empanadas de leche and empanadas de frijol. The leche empanadas were yummy, and the cream inside was perfect. The frijol, not so much. They used the refried beans that have spices like onion and garlic in them. Not too good for a dessert. In all, we're comparing this place to our favorite spot in Riverside off of La Sierra (wink wink ) as well as my family and my own Salvadorian cooking. Los Cebollines Grill is also a tad more expensive too. Hope this helps read more

Love coming here. Estefani's service is always above and beyond! Food is amazing and enjoy the ambiance!!

Some of the best pupusas I've had! They were fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The curtido and salsa were delicious and paired perfectly with the pupusas. The service was friendly and welcoming, and everything came out quickly. The restaurant was clean, and you can tell they care about the quality of their food. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to anyone craving authentic, delicious pupusas! read more

The food is not worth dealing with the employees and management at this business. I am terribly disappointed on how irresponsible and selfish this establishment is ran. I placed an online order on their official website, the order went through (really the only way an order can go through online is if the payment is approved- and as many people who order online, there is no option to cancel an order online after placed). I got a call on the way there that there was a problem with payment, but we could discuss when I arrived. I had my baby with me and had to send my husband in. He explained we already paid online, he showed the proof through Apple Pay it was approved and our bank showing the posting. The employee, Azuella, stated it wasn't showing on their end. "Owner" was called but couldn't assist because he wasn't on the premises and said to pay, and if the charge went through twice, we could return for a refund. We unfortunately had to return, and we are not close, with our baby in tow to explain the situation in person again. We dealt with the same employee, she again called the "owner" who told her he couldn't do anything because he already finished his work day. I asked to speak to an assistant manager, and she claimed there wasn't one. I asked she call him again because we were already there, we had all the proof to show to transactions, and we were already inconvenienced twice. We wasted time that night we picked up the order, got home much later than expected and ate our food cold. Then to still be denied assistance the second time we show up in person, willing to show all our proof, for the "owner" to be too inconvenienced to help us because he obviously doesn't care about his business during business hours?? And she constantly stated she only worked there, didn't have authority to help beyond what the "owner" was telling her, and didn't know her own work schedule to tell me if she'd be there the following day because I wanted to confirm she would give the message to the owner in person. I wrote down my number and was told I'd get a call in the morning. Did not happen read more

Food is great but service is terrible. Ordered a salvi sampler over the phone. When I got there I walked up to the counter like I usually do and this girl with blonde, straight hair completely ignores me. After a few minutes a family walks in and she greets them first without acknowledging me even though I'm standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE COUNTER. She finally asks me if I'm there to pick up an order, I said yes, then she proceeds to wait tables. Finally I get my order and I wait until she's done serving other customers so I can pay. Then she asks me if I'm waiting on another order. I tell her that I'm waiting to pay. I love their food but their customer service is absolute trash. read more

My husband and I tried this place for the first time on a lunch date. First off, the pupusas were good, we tried several of them on the menu along with the fajitas. The fajitas were cool but the pupusas were the star! Service was good, our server Stephanie greeted us with a big beautiful smile, that instantly made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back when we are in the mood for pupusas. Thank you Stephane!!! read more

We had the pupusas and they were all burnt on the bottom. We also ordered tamarindos and they honestly tasted like urine smells and VERY salty...needles to say we couldn't drink them. We have gone here before many times but lately? I just hope they fix things and do some quality inspections BEFORE they send food out. read more

Good food but service is sometimes a long wait. It's a little expensive but the food is good.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted and though the server wasn't available at that very moment she acknowledge us and looked for someone to attend us. There were several TVs playing the football games and other ones playing other programming, music was playing at typical restaurant level (medium), however, there was several songs that were quite vulgar, quite uncomfortable and embarrassing to have my little kids listening to this. The wait for the food wasn't that long, the drinks arrived promptly, the food took a little longer than usual but it was absolutely worth it. It did arrive in waves. The checking on us was timed perfectly, starting of meal, mid meal, and end, not forgotten and not annoyed. We ordered a typical salvadoreño platter, a plate of ripe plantain, and a seafood creamed soup. They were all fantastic. I absolutely recommend it. read more

Bad service with stuck up employees and mold everywhere. This review isn't about bashing a buisness, i am a very honest person when it comes to reviews. This is about the service i received. Walked in an old man "greeted" us. they took our order very rushed, didn't let us look at the menu. Estefani C. was very rude and seemed inconvenienced by us with a stank face the whole time, only smiling when she would go serve her tables. Total was $14 and some change. Gave her a $20 but only gave us a $5 and kept the coin change. Didn't let me know the reason she decided to keep my change but i figured she wanted it for herself for tip or whatever. didn't think complain for 35 cents. But a reason would have been the professional way to go about it. our order was suppose to take 20 min but we waited 40 minutes! mind you ppl came in and got seated and got served their food right away. At this point i ask them when my order will be ready but they cant give me a time still.. We were seated but more ppl came in so they made us stand up. very crammed space. At this point i just wanted my money back but they insisted it was "almost ready" I only ordered 3 pupusas.. only man seating ppl was very rude. passed behind me and purposely BUMPED MY BACK WITH HIS ELBOW. didn't apologize so i know he did it in purpose as the workers kept giving me dirty looks. when the girl with the pink hair handed me my order she didn't say not one word just an awkward silence as she handed me my food at least a "sorry for the wait" or "have a good day" would have been right. The food they had on the counter had mold, everything did. i was able to get a picture for the review. Pupusas were surprisingly decent but the place smelled like feet and bad fish. Only come here is you wanted to get treated like crap for supporting their business. I live in the area so a place like this is disappointing. This is not a business who represents Ontario, hope we have a legitimate pupusa with better atmosphere place soon! read more

Papusas are fire!! I got the jalapeno & cheese, bean & cheese, and asada and cheese. The salsa that comes with them is also delicious. My only complaint is that the drive thru takes a while but it's worth it for the food. I come here from time to time the food is food is decent. Service could use some work. If you're going through the drive thru and not dining in you shouldn't have to tip. The lady took a bit of insult and got petty by not including the drink when she had me drive up to the front to take it up to me. Given her tone of voice I should've known something was off and I should've checked my order before I left. Or cutlery. Moral of the story, check your order from the drive thru before leaving. read more

Fun food worth trying! From the outside this place looks like a fast food restaurant, but once you step in you will quickly discover it is a dine in. Within you have a choice to sit at a table or booth. The menu is straightforward and simple with a nice variety of items to order. Sticking to pupusas and beer theme, the Revuelta and Carne Asada and Queso Pupusa with a Michelada. It took a little time for the pupusas to come as they are made fresh. Before too long they were ready. Hot, fluffy, and filled with goodness! The Michelada with shrimp was a fun drink to enjoy. A small Salvadorian salad was served on the side and it went well with the pupusas mixed with the two different chile sauces available. Service was average and business only. Based on my experience I would definitely come back here for another meal. Tips: - Cash is king here... there is a 3.5% Credit/Debit charge if you pay with card. - If you get the Michelada, be sure to mix the beer with the mix as well as you before each sip. read more

Found this new place in Ontario, CA! This location has only been open for 2 month. Good authentic Salvadoran food from El Salvador- Central America. We had 3 Pupusas (Excellent size, portion and Not greasy at all) ; One platter of Chicarron (Pork Cunks & Yuca- (Casaba Root) and a plater of the Salvadoran Sampler (little bit of everything) . I have gone to many Salvadoran resturants, ate Home Style cooking, ate street side and at family functions.... Yes, my family roots are Salvadorian (LOL) and I have to admit, this place is very authentic, Home Style deliciousness. Location has good sunlight, good "cultura music" and some flat screen TV's with music videos. We will definalty return and come more often. I am very please to find this place. By the way, if you want to get an awesome drink... Get the Michelada Especial! Its on Fire! Tip to cook & owner: Make the Yuca smaller or Chicharron sligthly bigger. They are disperportionate, but very delicious. read more

Placed my order using their online ordering service, there is a $1 surcharge for placing an online order, the food takes about 30 minutes to be ready. I appreciated the drive thru experience which made it easy for me to pick up my order. Now the food, the pupusas are so thin and barely had any filling. The drinks we had were MARACUYA and PEPINO both were good and in large cups. The best were the PLATANOS FRITOS, the sour cream and beans were so good! I would order from here again but not order the pupusas. read more

Went here on a whim. Saw the pupusa sign and was craving it. I ordered frijoles and queso, chicharon, shrimp and a flower type with cheese. They have the option of regular masa or rice masa. I chose the regular. The flavors are on point and delicious. Every single pupusa had a great texture and flavor. I will be coming by to try different styles and am curious about the rice masa. I also ordered 7 mares soup creamy version. It had an abundance of seafood mix. The flavor was good and it's a good portion. Another soup I ordered was fish soup. This one I didn't like as it felt like it was missing something and salty. But portions are pretty decent. The drinks.... I got one horchata and one mixed fruit. Both good but the horchata was the star for me. It's not grainy and just the right amount of sweet and I love that I can taste the cinnamon. The bread "quesadilla" was very very dry to my liking and a bit burnt so this too I didn't enjoy. Overall I am super pleased with their service and their food. I would come back again and try more different pupusa style and other items in the menu. read more
