Lynaire is a TOP-NOTCH kennel. I used other kennels in my area; none of them even come close to this establishment. From the moment Missy and I walked into the building, til I picked her up 3 days later, I was met with professional caring employees. Missy gets so nervous when she's dropped off - she was not nervous when I picked her up. Lynaire followed actually followed our feeding schedule, did not lose her toy, and smelled great with nails trimmed. The price was reasonable. The only place I feel comfortable boarding my dogs. I know it may not be everyone's preference, but I prefer that they do not do any group play outside of same family (dogs that live/board together). Mainly for safety and cross contamination risks. Kennel cough can spread like wildfire and I don't want to risk my dog's health. And as much as my little dog may think he can run with the "big" dogs, he could easily get himself hurt in a group play setting. Dog's attitudes can change at the drop of a hat (especially in an environment that is not familiar) and god forbid my dog or any other goes Cujo out of fear or any other stress response. I know my dog is safe there and gets plenty of one on one love. read more

My experience with Lynaire Kennels was subpar to say the least. We payed extra to have them in a suite. I gave simple and exact instructions when I dropped off my Fur Babies. I was impressed at the detail of the drop off process. I contacted the kennels through Facebook messenger and got a reply within a few hours after dropping them off. a few days later I contacted them again for an update, the sent me a couple of pictures. They posted some photos to their page a few days later. the next time I saw any communication was when I asked again For an update 5 days later. With about a week left they contacted me to tell me there was not enough food for the entire stay. This turned out to not be the case. Upon our return we went and picked up our Fur Babies, this is where we realised that the details taken during the drop off process tuned out to be smoke and mirrors. when we got home both the kiddos were begging for food, something they do not do normally unless they haven't been eating due to upset stomach or an procedure that requires them to not eat. When I dropped them off I gave instructions for feeding a multiple bags of frozen and fresh food. the bag that had leftovers in it that they returned was the open bag I gave them three week earlier and was rancid. I also gave them two bags each of two different supplement treats with instructions for 1 treat of each type per day per dog, all four bags were opened;however, only a few treat were missing from each bag. I easily can deduce that the treats were not fed as instructed. And why open the second bag when there are still treats in the first bag. The next thing that stood out was that I provided in dated sealed bags frozen chicken for the kennel to use to provide the required medicine for each of my Fur Babies. when I picked them up there was a lot of chicken still remaining. I understand the last few packages as we picked the kiddos up a day early but the dozen others made no sense. I noticed in the bag they retuned the medicines in was a chart initialled by the employee for medicine tracking. There were multiple days where medicine was not administered, and it was difficult to tell if there was a way to track the multiple medications for the same Fur Baby. I have no way of knowing if my Fur Babies were treated correctly or even given the perks I payed for. If the kennel is so mismanaged that it cannot ensure my kiddos medicine is given properly, does not inform me of any issues, and is to incompetent to use all of an open bag of food or treats before opening the next one, how can I trust they are doing the other things promised in the price plan. do not use Lynaire. I am just glad my Kiddos were not poisoned by food that was either opened and kept longer than suggested or left un refrigerated for days. I will never use their services again. Totally unacceptable. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

I was in central America. Decided to boed my beloved English masstif their. Their claim to fame was large breeds. I choose them because of their reviews. I had gotten my * Cletus" the deluxe package with his own space. Toys ,dog tv , toys and such. First day into my holiday I was called and told he was being aggressive. Instead of being a dog professional and putting him in a secluded large breed kennel they contacted me and told me all this stuff. Scared and worried about my baby...thinking he went a bit crazy cra...these fokes had NO idea about dog physicality. A scared dog will be aggressive. I stead of loving my boy ..800.00. # later ...ruining my vacation of a lifetime .worried...they just called wanting me to come get him. I don't feel they know wtf their doing at all. If ya got a chiwawa it's a good one. But they don't know dog mentality or their owners fer that fact. My boy has a heart of gold. I think they did something to him. Their obviously dolts. Hell NEVER be boarded again. They coulda isolated him with other large breeds who weren't doing well in said situation. That's why I choose lenaie. If your pups over 100# .. DON'T CHOOSE Them. Their money hungry. Just saying.picked him up isolated with a big airdale. Both dem pups were planning a " break out". Lol I called every day after his alleged incidents. I brought my senior dogs here for a nail trim. I worry about taking them because they are both old and cranky. I never know how they will react. Anyway, What a great experience. The staff is wonderful and so friendly. We have taken them to a lot of different places for nail trims that just didn't do a great job. The staff here did a terrific job! There are two things you've got to have when you are an animal owner, and that's a good vet and a good kennel. We love Lynaires and would not take our two "babies" Maxx and Jaxx anywhere else. We always get the luxury suites. The owner and staff at Lynaires always go the extra mile to ensure the finest quality care and compassion for all the cats and dogs there. Her entire staff have worked for the owner Linda for over 8/10 years from what she told us. Now that speaks volumes! They have completely re built and updated their prior building into an even more beautiful facility with state of the art quality construction, way above what's required of state safety code. Your pets are safer there than in your home! They know us by name and often send us pics and updates on our dogs while we are on the road. They even put our Maxx and Jaxx on the front of their new brochure! Linda the owner gave us one of the very first personal tours of her beautiful facility and at the time we had never met her, she just saw us in the waiting room and asked us if she could show us around. The staff even lie down in the floor with our babies and nap with them with occassionally when they get a little anxious there. (Unheard of anywhere else) They make it an easy decision for us to hit the road, be it business or pleasure trip! We would probably stay home more often if not for the confidence we have in Lynaires. Our military friends on Cherry Point Marine station recommended them to us. I selected this boarding facility for my dog while we were in transition, living on our boat, and I wasn't familiar with the boarding facilities in the area. My dogs (1 small, 1 medium) have had several weeklong stays at Lynaire over the past year. Staff are efficient, congenial and highly skilled. Accomodations and grooming services are excellent. One dog has special needs for back problems involving very careful handling and several medications. She seems to have gotten excellent care. Services are reasonably priced and both dogs are always happy and healthy upon pickup. I highly recommend Lynaire Kennels...they do a great job. read more

My rescue is nervous to say the least. She is terrified of other dogs. She is also not great with strangers. Good thing she never met a stranger at Lynaire Kennels. She loves it there. We love taking her there. The facility is clean, actually beyond clean. They give her a home when she can't be at home. She comes home happy and calm (which means she was not anxious while we were gone) Staff with do whatever it takes meaning home cooked meals of chicken and rice or adding pumpkin to be sure your pup eats. The best is she always comes home with a free bath!!!!! I wish there were more then 5 stars. I love the facility and I love the staff but even better, my pup does really well there!!! I was new to this area and my babies were still being seen in Cherryville NC, Chloe had surgery and after staying three wks in Charlotte and vet visit post surgery we came home Chloe didnt act right I was told due to her surgery she was still a bit sore. My precious Chloe was dying before my eyes She had seizuresI called her Vet and was told see a Dr. here, I did but sense they had no history on her she was medicated Chloe died two days later. I found Lynaire Kennels on the internet. They told me to bring my sweet Chloe to them and after the Cremation I picked up my Baby Girl, She was entombed in a Beautiful wooden box with Pawprints her name and Wings of an Angel. This place is professional and loves animals. It is worth the extra money to go here. We rescued a hound Elvis ,a week before our scheduled vacation. We only had him 8 days (2vet visits), he was finally putting on wieght and getting confidence. I was so worried we would have to start from scratch with him after being boarded (8 days). I boarded my dog here 1 time and will never take her back. Everything looked so great when I took the tour. When I dropped her off and walked her to her suite they hadn't cleaned up the feces that was left from the dog before. I paid extra to make sure my dog had plenty of outside time and extra walks . I don't believe that happened. There were a lot of dogs boarded and no group play. It is impossible for all of the dogs to be walked or have play time considering the amount of staff they have. There aren't enough hours in a day . the pets are left alone at night . there is only someone on site, not at the kennels . after I picked up my dog she acted like she hadn't seen daylight. So for the following week I drove to the kennel at all different times and never saw a dog outside Think twice before leaving your pets there. . read more
