Flow for Life - Lymphatic Massage with Madelyn Reusser…read more Madelyn practices European Vodder-style lymphatic drainage (the gold standard technique) and is actively continuing her training, including advanced work like scar repair and healing -- and it shows in her hands-on work. I've had lymphatic massage before, but nothing compares. Madelyn truly understands the lymphatic system and applies her knowledge with intention and care. The session is deeply calming, precise, and effective -- I leave noticeably more relaxed every time. Especially helpful for post-surgery swelling reduction and overall lymph flow support. Tip: bring a water bottle -- you'll want to hydrate afterward. Give yourself extra time to find the building the first visit (it's near a Dutch restaurant). If you're curious, I recommend looking up the Vodder technique online -- it helps you appreciate just how skilled her work really is. If you're looking for lymphatic work that's both therapeutic and restorative, Madelyn is exceptional.

Massages are an interesting experience i.e. getting touched by someone you don't know, but Sheena was great and made me feel comfortable and safe. Sheena was very good at working overused areas without making things painful or causing bodily discomfort. The price was reasonable for the quality of service. Right after my appointment I had to take my dog on a walk through our neighborhood, which is pretty hilly. Going uphill normally does a number on my hip tight, painful, the whole thing. But this time I had Way more range of motion and barely any pain. I was kind of shocked honestly. If you're dealing with muscle pain or tightness, just book with her. You won't regret it!

Disappointing second visit…read more I've been getting massages regularly for many years, so I have a good sense of what to expect from a skilled therapist. Unfortunately, my second session with Amanda fell well short. The table: It was too narrow and too short for comfort. My arms kept slipping off the sides, which made it hard to relax from the start. The massage itself: I booked a two-hour, full-body deep tissue/sports massage. What I received was very different. Amanda spent most of the session on a few small areas I had mentioned and skipped many of the major muscle groups entirely. The pace was extremely slow, and when I asked her to pick it up, nothing changed. For a two-hour session, very little ground was covered. Skill level: An experienced therapist can feel where the tension is and work to release it. I didn't get the sense that Amanda was able to identify tight muscles by touch or adjust her work accordingly. Overall, this wasn't the deep tissue session I paid for, and I won't b
