I hope the business sees this and takes this into consideration. Not only to do their job, look at the chart to see BMI AND make that call BEFORE the patient is all ready with an IV ready for surgery to start, but maybe start emailing patients instructions on how to take a photo of their anatomy that they can then send back to have the anesthesiologist make their final decision. It's done by other facilities, not all, but it's a great idea. Giving it a 2 because the nurse was great. But the ball was dropped somewhere with the other staff. If there is a policy regarding BMI, that information would be in the patient's chart when scheduling the procedure, and should have been caught prior to, and extra steps should have been taken, such as a photo.

As a result, I went to see 2 of the Urogynecologies ( which I have to pay out of pocket) and they both said that the surgery that I had which brought damage to my vulva and somewhat causing the problem that I have right now. I soon will need another surgery so that I my bladder can function normally as it's supposed to be. I think if you want to have a surgery done down there, you need to find a well trained surgeon who is specialist in this field , board certified, not just an ob gyn. Nothing offense here but get it real, you need to do the research, lots of research and ask around when it comes to surgery. The reason I give 1 star because doctor Turner is a nice guy but unfortunately he did not fix the problem that I came in for but in reverse.
