Such a cliché to say that I am so grateful that a seemingly negative thing occurred which gave way to this wonderful thing, but such is the case with a car accident and Goodland Chiropractic. My daughter and I were in an accident in 2018 and got in contact with Dr. Justine by phone. Somebody answered and was able to provide a bit of guidance until our visit. Dr. Justine helped us recover from that accident physically & emotionally/mentally through the treatment of our central nervous system-as it relates to the spine/adjustments. We remained clients of Dr. Justine and over time she was able to treat injuries we sustained in an accident over 5 years ago, including consistent migraines, light sensitivity, and back pain. I cannot overstate how deeply grateful we are for this healing, how much it has changed our lives. Every once in a while you end up in a beautiful place without even trying. I ended up here at Goodland Chiropractic with Drs. Justine and Hannah, just because they took my insurance. I went to chiropractors for decades just to feel like I am doing something but nothing really changed in the past. But when I came here, the sessions are like a Reiki session. I could barely walk because I was in so much pain. I was prepared to be in worse pain after being adjusted...I'd been down this road before. The receptionist was so kind and helpful it made everything much easier. I was there 2 hours filling out the intensive questionnaire, hands on eval and treatment until I walked out the door better than when I hobbled in. I was in shock at how easy, efficient, quick and painless the whole process was. I've been seeing Dr. Justine for about 9 months now on just about a weekly basis. She is by far one of the best chiropractors I've been too. I started seeing her back in January or February and was in quite a bit of pain from my scoliosis, and after a few weeks of visits I could breath without pain again! Justine and her staff are true experts! I suffered a Grade 3 and sprain that was very painful, swollen and unstable on Day 4, 5 & 6 I saw her and she did cold laser therapy. She also used the Gonstead technique to adjust my foot/ankle and on Day 6 I was left with minimal swelling, increased range of motion, little pain and was able to stand and walk on my foot again!! She helped me so much!! I had gone to the ER originally because the swelling was so massive they did an x-ray and found there was no fracture gave me an air cast and crutches and sent me on my way. They told me to ice, keep it elevated and immobilized but did not recommend I see a foot doctor. I can only image how'd I'd feel today Day 7 if that's all I had done. Before I saw Dr Justine I used to be in chronic pain. My job as a firefighter can be physically demanding and not conducive to healthy body mechanics. Dr. Justine Bellefeuille is a life saver! The other day I had figured that I popped one of my ribs and could hardly breathe for about four days. When I started seeing Dr. Justine I knew that I had hip issues and was in constant discomfort if not pain from sitting 12 hours a day at a desk plus an hour long commute each way. Through Dr. Justine's very thorough initial exam and xrays we discovered that I actually had major pelvis issues as well as some neck injuries from childhood! When I first started treatment I needed once a week care and am now down to once every 2 weeks and am continuing to get better. I never realized how little range of motion I had and how stiff my neck was until I had it adjusted for the first time. Dr. Justine also utilizes cold laser therapy, which is amazing and helped major bruising and stiffness that I had after an ATV accident heal much much more quickly than it would have on its own.
