Dr. Wagner has been the greatest doctor around for decades now! My mother, my wife and I all go to him whenever something is out-of-whack and he responds instantly with kindness, humor, care and real expertise. It's a miracle how quickly one feels better after seeing Dr. Wagner, thanks to his wit and his warmth as well as his magic hands. And everyone in his office is a saint. It's rare to find a place where everything works so perfectly and one always emerges feeling better. I don't know how we'd survive without him! read more

I had been suffering from nerve pain and weakness in my arm caused by disc degeneration in my neck. After a few sessions with Dr. Wagner, I noticed a lot of improvement in my symptoms - less pain and a return of some strength. Since then, my symptoms have continued to improve and I have been feeling great. Dr. Wagner's years of experience and gentle manner help to create a nurturing environment, but best of all, he gets results. read more

The only problem with this doctor there's no elevators Like I said no elevator yet to take the stairs which is dangerous especially if you're a senior and I think it's a rip off he wants to see you three days and three days again and three days so I just said I give up I went somewhere else and I got a good treatment read more

Great people, safe adjustments, and my back is feeling healthy. Thanks for being awesome!

Went in at 19 weeks pregnant in so much pelvic pain I couldn't walk straight. Never thought Chiropractors did much for me in the past until I met Dr. Wagner and got real results... FAST. I love that they have treatment beds designed to accomdate the growing bump for pregnancy. Now in my third trimester and no sign of slowing down yet, my body is so grateful for his treatments! He is very friendly and always makes me feel comfortable and at ease! There is never a wait, the office staff is friendly, and they are very accomdating with scheduling. read more

I skateboard, dirtbike, golf, disc golf etc, all of which that can throw my back and neck out of whack, so needless to say I've been into Dr Wagner's office many times over the years. He consistently fixes my back/ neck issues without jerking me around for endless follow ups and on top of being a great Chiro, he is a great guy. Easy to talk to and it is obvious he actually cares about his patients. Super reasonable prices and usually can see you same day, or next day at most, which is crucial when you need an adjustment. I owe him my sanity for sure, as spinal issues will drive you up a wall. Highly recommend! read more

My last week in Santa Barbara I could barely walk with back pain. I had three visits with Dr. Wagner before I drove across the country and he worked wonders for my pain management. The improvement at the end was huge! I have been going to chiropractors for years and he is by far one of the best I've seen. It was a pleasure to talk with him, the service and equipment was top notch, and his staff was also very helpful and wonderful. Whenever I go back to Santa Barbara I will make sure to schedule an appointment! read more

My shoulder had been locked up for almost two months, and I saw three chiropractors before Dr. Wagner who all made me feel better in the short term but not in the long run. I'm so glad I found Dr. Wagner! He's clearly focused on fixing the problem in the long run and not just on making you feel good for a day or two before your muscles lock up again. It took me a few appointments to feel better, but I could tell he wouldn't jerk me around and schedule me for unnecessary follow ups just to get my money. He was different from other chiropractors I had seen in that when I left I would feel a little bit better and then I would start feeling gradually better throughout the day. Bottom line is I wish I had seen him before I went to anyone else since he actually fixed the problem. Thank you Dr. Wagner! read more

Life Changing, I'm no longer in pain! I went in to see Dr. Wagner back in mid January because I was suffering from neck, shoulder & upper back pain. The pain on my left side had become unbearable for almost 2 months, I had the worst quality sleep, woke up every morning with shooting pain down my arm and experienced frequent headaches which lead to migraines. I went in to see Dr. Wagner because he was highly recommended by a friend. Starting with his front desk staff, they are welcoming, efficient and accommodating with my schedule. Dr. Wagner is amazing, I felt heard and understood when I explained what I was feeling. I started treatment twice a week and by the second visit I started to feel a huge improvement! By the end of week 2 my quality of sleep improved and the pain was almost gone by almost 60%. By week 4 I felt like a new person, I sleep like never before and that alone has even improved my mood. I never realized how the pain was affecting my life in many ways until I was pain free! I have committed to staying consistent with maintenance treatment because I do NOT want to go back to living with pain! I would recommend Dr. Wagner to anyone especially people my age 30's- 40's who are on a computer all day. I wish I had started treatment years ago to correct my bad posture. Almost forgot to mention, since I started treatment, I have not experienced any migraines! read more

Dr. Wagner is one of the good ones. I've been seeing a chiro since I was 8 when I feel off a swing - am now 40 so I know the drill. He assesses and gets to work. He is an expert and it shows. Additionally, the roller table that he puts you on before he adjusts is to die for. Would visit just to spend 20 minutes on that every week! read more

Dr. Wagner has been a huge help in managing my back and neck pain. His methods offer a lot of relief! He is a knowlegable and compassionate chiropractor with incredible experience, and his office staff is kind and patient. I highly recommend Wagner Chiropractic. read more

I recently moved to Santa Barbara and tweaked my back. I was in some serious pain and after asking a few co-workers who they recommended it was clear that Wagner Chiropractic was the place. Close to my house, had adjusted and helped multiple coworkers and he was a great guy on top of it. After my first appointment I was able to confirm all the above. Such a down to earth guy who loves what he does. He also doesn't try to tell you what you're doing wrong, but rather how you can improve little things that will make a big difference. I highly recommend Wagner Chiropractic. read more

I have been going to Dr. Wagner for 3 months now. I've struggled with back pain for years and have seen other chiropractor but haven't had the same results I am seeing now. He addresses the problem directly and created a treatment plan that is turning out to be very effective. I started off going twice a week and now I'm seeing him every 2 weeks. The front desk manager, Delia is amazing! She's personable, informative, and accommodating. read more

I can't stand the type of person who, by some extraordinary luck, or divine intervention, just so happen to be connected to the best of everything: mention a toothache and they'd barrel through 8 elderly people making a path to your ear so they could tell you how "you absolutely must to go see [their] dentist", or how "there's simply no better fitness instructor in the entire city, much less the state, that could touch their rollerblading trainer!" In this particular instance however, I am one of those people: It's a well-established fact (in my own mind) that "Dr. Wagner, at Wagner Chiropractic, just so happens to be the best chiropractor in the world!" I used to have back problems 20 years ago (though I don't anymore...and if that's not like the best endorsement right there in itself, eh?) and remember trying a good half a dozen different chiropractors before finding Wagner Chiropractic. The chiropractors I tried before Wagner ranged from mildly helpful to outright comical (one of them asked me to take my gum out, while he hovered a Crystal above me on the edge of a string, that was the whole treatment mind you)! After finding Wagner, I went about a dozen or more times in as many years. Every visit would start and end the same: I'd hobble, or sometimes damn-near crawl my way through their front door, and roughly 40 minutes later, practically skip out. Not once did I wake up the next morning after a visit with Dr Wagner and not be 95%+ healed (then totally fine within a day or two more)! And not once did Dr. Wagner ask me to take my gum out. Good health, Christian Hunter read more

No BS with Dr. Wagner! Within the first few minutes he was able to tell that my pelvis was out of place and got to treatment right away. Sessions begin with 10ish minutes on the roller before the adjustment. The bed/table is actually a machine and lifts/lowers you into position which is a HUGE plus if you are in pain and have trouble moving. He also follows up with an ultrasound treatment after each adjustment for lasting results. Quick, honest, affordable, high quality equipment used, insurance accepted, convenient location. Overall, great experience. Thanks Dr. Wagner! read more

Dr Wagner has been nothing but the best, I have visited about 3 other chiropractic clinics in Sabra Barbara and I keep coming back.

I went to Dr. Wagner's office on my girlfriend's recommendation. My back had been injured in the combination of being rear-ended over the holidays and subsequently spending a lot time pretzeled up in airline seats. By the time I saw Dr. Wagner, my back was in spasm, with very little motion and frequent jolts of pain. His bedside manner is friendly and congenial and he quickly put me at ease, walking me through the chiropractic process. After an automated massage table treatment and a light massage, Dr. Wagner performed two adjustments on my lower back. First of all, for those who have never been to a chiropractor (I hadn't), the sound of the spine popping back into alignment is astounding! But it was painless and I noticed a difference instantly. I returned to Dr. Wagner for two followup treatments as my spine settled back into a healthy state. I found myself looking forward to it, both for our pleasant interactions and for the amazing and rapid effects on my back. Also worth noting: Wagner's office took my insurance and the cost of these visits was just the $15 copay. My improvement has been drastic and I'm almost back to 100% after just three sessions over the course of a little over a week. Thank you Dr. Wagner! read more

For months I was in excruciating pain due to my sciatica which I have had off & on for many years. It finally got so bad I could barely stand up straight. Bending over was impossible. I always heard that chiropractors might be able to help this condition so I picked Dr. Dan Wagner having heard good things about him. Long story short, a couple of months out I can bend over and deal with my 2 beloved Chihuahua mixes & Pussycat. I am so grateful I made the decision to go to Dr. Wagner! read more

My go to chiropractor when I lived in Santa Barbara. I still stop by any time I'm in town for a no BS quick adjustment.

I play tennis most days when I woke up with a horrible stiff neck, after trying everything for a couple of weeks, I went to Wagner Chiropractic Clinic. After the first treatment, what a relief! After a few more treatments it was totally gone. Highly recommend Wagner Chiropractic. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Wagner. I first went to him a year ago when I was suffering from upper back and neck pain. He was able to pinpoint the issue and provide adjustments with lasting results that I could feel immediately. I tried getting massages, stretching, etc and nothing else would help my achey upper back muscles from hunching over a computer all day. He is very knowledgable and good at what he does. read more

Dr Wagner and his staff are top notch. Since I have been coming to see him, my neck has much better range of motion, I have had a significant reduction in headaches, and my mid back has stabilized. His staff are accommodating and friendly. They make scheduling appointments easy, and work with my insurance to help cover payments. i also consider his pricing very reasonable. I am 4 visits in to treating a long standing hip/muscle issue. I have tried several sports/massage therapists over the years with no luck. I am happy to report that I finally feel I am in knowledgeable hands with Dr. Wagner. He uses a combination of chiropractic adjustment, massage, and ultrasound. His candor, professionalism, and his depth of understanding of the mechanics of the human body, have all worked together to give me complete confidence that I am on the road to recovery. My lower back is no longer strained, my hip has never felt more mobility, and I look forward with hopeful confidence that my shoulder will follow suit, in time. read more

I have been going to chiropractors most of my life and experienced many chiropractic methods. Hands down Dr. Wagner is the best and most skilled chiropractor I have ever gone to in the past 20 years. I can honestly say no chiropractor has been able to adjust my entire spine as well as Dr. Wagner. He also uses soft-tissue modalities like acupressure, massage, and ultrasound to accompany his adjustments. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends. The Dr. and the office staff are friendly and very accommodating with last minute appointments and short waiting times. In addition there is easy access to the building with underground parking. I know when I walk out of this office I am going to feel better. read more

I am a sophomore bioengineering student in Northern California and I come back to Santa Barbara specifically to see Dr. Wagner for work on my shoulders and neck. Unlike many "chiropractors," Dr. Wagner holds a medical degree and has such an inpecable record within the medical community here in Santa Barbara that I am stunned that I had to create his first review for this site. read more

I've been so enormously pleased with my care at Wagner Chiropractic over the last four years, I had to give them a shout-out, especially after their care for my recent neck problem. In the past, I've gone in for an adjustment every few months, just for preventative purposes or if my back was feeling a little stiff or tight. I always felt better. But several weeks ago, I started waking up with headaches almost every morning (I had not been to Dr. Wagner in over a year because I'd been doing great). I noticed my neck was stiff on one side and the headaches emanated from there. I tried OTC anti-inflammatories, Tylenol, massage, heat, ice, and anything else I could think of. I thought it was due to stress, or a bad pillow, and I could wait the headaches out. I finally realized it was probably an issue for Dr. Wagner. After carefully examining me, Dr. Wagner deduced my problem was caused by my atlas-axis (hope I wrote that correctly). He applied gentle manipulation, adjustment and ultrasounds techniques over the course of four visits, and CURED me. I feel like I have a normal neck again, no tightness, no headaches, and I feel 100% comfortable again. I'm sleeping well again and feel so lucky to have had effective, compassionate and well-executed care. I had been enormously frustrated by repeat headaches; now all is super well. I also appreciate that Dr. Wagner never tries to stretch out care to pocket more office visits. He is super efficient...fixes the problem and lets you call on your timetable if you feel the need to come back. I can be a pretty big skeptic, and definitely impatient when it comes to not feeling well. So, I've felt SO happy to be treated by Dr. Wagner and benefit from his expert handling of my spinal health and general well-being! I highly recommend Dr. Wagner. Oh, and his staff is fantastic, too. read more
