Dr. Larson is a chiropractic genius! When I walked in this morning, I was in so much pain and when I walked out, I felt like myself again. I'll return tomorrow or the next day and have a few more adjustments to make sure everything is perfect and I know that with Dr. Larson and his wonderful office staff I'm getting the best and most supportive care! THANK YOU read more

Dr. Larson and his staff are truly awesome I have referred friends and family to the office.

This is my first experience with chiropractic work so take my opinions with that in mind. I went in with moderate neck and shoulder pain. I've experienced this for over a year. Massages never work for me, nor do massage chairs. So I made an appointment with Doctor Cochran. It was a good appointment, they get the "what's ailing you" questions out of the way on a computer before you see the doctor so he has all the info when you walk in. I spoke with him for a few minutes and then he did a few adjustments on my neck, used 2 massagers on my back, adjusted my shoulders and then he was done. This appointment was about 3 minutes longer than the following 8 minute appointments I booked. I felt better for about an hour and then was back to my usual discomfort. At my second appointment they let me try their massage table for free but let me know if I wanted to use it at future appointments, it'd be $10. Not at all worth it in my opinion. After my second adjustment 2 days later I did feel much better! That lasted for a few days, but I was unable to get back in for another appointment until about 10 days later. By then I was in pain again. The third and fourth appointments did virtually nothing. The doctor did the exact same thing on me every time I went in, and only added a new tool when I mentioned that I was in more pain after my third appointment. I have to pay $20 after insurance to go, and in my opinion this experience wasn't worth the $80 investment. I purchased a special pillow recently and that's done more for me than this did. Dr Cochran is a nice man, no complaints to him or his staff. Seems this may not be for me, but I do wish I'd gotten a bit more catered treatment rather than the get in and out appointments I experienced. If you're experienced with chiropractic work and know what to look for I'd check this out. read more

I've been to a lot of chiropractic places and haven't been very happy. I recently switched to ACG and couldn't be happier. The staff is very friendly, they work with me on scheduling later in the day because I work late, the location is quick and easy for me. I'm very satisfied and wound definitely recommend A*+ read more

This was my first experience at the chiropractor and it has exceeded my expectations! The staff here are very nice and they are great with following up on appointments or asking to reschedule. Dr. Hauber is such a great chiropractor!! I've had severe neck pain for what feels like ages, and after only 2 visits I felt so much relief. Dr. Hauber is great at explaining things as he does his adjustment and he is super welcoming in general. I've recommended him to others who don't even live in the area, so would recommend! read more

I saw Dr. York as a new patient and was extremely disappointed. He called me Sweetie Pie and said he enjoyed flirting with old women and they enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy it one bit. He said a couple more sexually inappropriate remarks. He was also very rough, didn't stop when I said it was too rough, just laughed and said almost done! Very unprofessional and I strongly recommend that women do not go to him. read more

This is the place to go! I had never been to a chiropractor before, I was able to get a same day appointment with Dr. James Cochran. I came in with pain so bad I could hardly breath and by the next day I was completely fixed up! He and his staff were all so wonderful, they all knew my name each time I came in (only twice, once for my original appointment and again for a follow up 2 days later) and they were all very kind and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help! read more

Dr. Larson is amazing! He's able to help me every time I have an issue. Scheduling is always easy and everyone is so friendly. I highly recommend it!! read more

Let me preface by saying I was a 7/10 on the pain scale before seeing Dr.Cochran. I was in constant pain and had to give up my love of golf. The care of Dr. Cochran lowered my pain within six weeks to 1/10. After being in such pain, for so long I can't show my appreciation for how wonderful this man is. The front desk is nice, and everyone in that office is kind. If you are on the fence regarding chiropractic care in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area, I have nothing but good things to say. read more

I can honestly say Dr Cochran is a miracle worker. My shoulder has been in great pain for months. As a mother of 2 I don't really have the time for my own appointments and can't put my motherly job on hold. I went in once not able to even lift my arm, when I walked out my hand could go over my head with little to no pain. Amazing!!!! Thank you. By the way, this wasn't the first miracle :) read more

I wish I had found this place years ago! I am so pleased with my experience here; by far the best chiropractic experience I've ever had. I called the office as a new patient, desperately looking for relief. I was seen right away, the office is very clean, the staff is friendly, and Dr. Cochran is incredible! I can't believe how much better I feel just days after throwing my back out. I am beyond grateful. Thank you, Advanced Chiropractic! read more

I saw Dr. Larsen for help with back pain. He is knowledgeable and informative and I felt completely at ease with his care. I would recommend him to anyone with orthopedic issues. read more

Dr. Larson is the BEST! I was involved in a three auto accident last December (2015), and I started coming to this place for treatment. I was initially Dr. Cochran's patient - treatment wasn't great (he actually hurt me during my first visit, when he pulled my foot and further injured my lower back). He casually made racist comments, which I could generally ignore, until he thought it was acceptable to say El Chapo looked like his gardener. I was livid. I was prepared to leave and never return. One of the receptionists called me to confirm my next appointment, and I explained that I would be looking for another chiropractor because of the disturbing comments Dr. Cochran made. She was super sweet (just like the rest of the staff there, who are always awesome, btw!) and she asked if I would consider being treated by Dr. Larson - wow, am I glad she asked! Dr. Larson is extremely professional and super knowledgeable; he was very careful with my injuries, and he was very thorough every time he treated me, actually taking the time to explain what he was doing and how it would help me in my recovery. He also took into consideration my daily activities, and explained how stress also impacts the body. I would highly, highly recommend seeing Dr. Larson! He really saved them a customer!!! read more

I've seen Dr. Larsen for the better part of the last 2 years and have had a great experience. He's helped me off and on with neck, back and shoulder pain. Getting appointments is incredibly easy, sometimes even an hour or two away. Parking is readily available and convenient, office staff is nice and responsive to emails and phone calls, and they have taken both of my insurances without hesitation. Bonus points for being walking distance to Southcoast Deli after an appointment! read more

Advance Chiropractic Group has the friendliest staff, the best doctors and the sweetest office manager. A few months ago, I went in for an adjustment after experiencing some back pains from work and now Dr. Larson's my go-to chiropractor. Ihighly recommend this place! read more

Bottom line; great Chiro and nice guy! What else do you want?? I had a bad wipeout while surfing and a few hours after being out of the water I was in serious pain. My wife had gone to dr York for years and always raved about him. She called and he stayed late to sneak me in and I'm so happy he did..... He was gentle when he needed to be and firm when it was necessary (neck adjustment.....) and I was feeling better right away. Super nice guy and fixed me right up! stayed late for me, fixed me up. didnt like all the red tape of getting in there but you only handle that once read more

Dr York his one of the best chiropractor I ever had I definitely recommend him to everyone .

Dr Cochran is the best Chiropractor I've ever had! He really is thorough. Definitely 5 Star!

I had been battling severe neck and back pain for weeks and was hesitant to go see a chiropractor but I was miserable and frankly out of options as medications, massage, Ice and heat were not working. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Cochran after my friend had recommended him and the receptionist was very friendly and squeezed me in same day! I was nervous as I had never been to a chiropractor before but Dr. Cochran was very friendly and explained exactly what he was going to do so that could relax. He listened to my issues and immediately knew what to do as far as treatment. I have been seeing him twice a week for 3 weeks and I am PAIN FREE!! I can't ever thank this man enough for taking care of me and for helping me gain my life back. He knows his stuff and his taste in music makes the experience even better! I highly recommend Dr. Cochran for anyone just needing a tune up or for anyone with nagging pain. He will get you on track in no time with a smile on his face! read more

Dr. Cochran is amazing! Very professional, knowledgeable, and personable! He understands my ongoing shoulder issues and is extremely effective in resolving my minor athletic aches and pain spots. His availability is never a problem and his office is clean, organized, and comfortable. The best chiropractor in town. read more

Dr. York was disrespectful and unprofessional as he made several stereotypes based off my appearance (ethnicity). For being a chiropractor in the field for over 20 years, his style of care was poor and was insensible when his disrespectfulness and unprofessionalism was brought up to his attention. read more

Dr. Larsen is AMAZING - I arrived in terrible discomfort and I left with a big smile on my face and tremendous relief! This was my first appointment with Dr. Larsen and they managed to fit me in because was in intense pain. I am so so grateful for the care, support and empathy and the wonderful talent that Dr. Larsen demonstrated in taking care of my back today!!!!! All the staff were terricic, too! read more

Dr. Cochran is amazing! I've been going to him for over a year now and recently went in due to horrible neck pain, I couldn't eat since swallowing was very, very painful. His staff was able to schedule an appointment right away he worked his magic and was able to fix the issue that same day! I was so relieved and happy to put that injury behind me. Thank you Dr. Cochran and staff! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Kane (preceptee under Dr. H) for a couple months now. I had a very bad back injury and months of physical therapy and acupuncture didn't get me ANYWHERE the healing progress as chiropractic care did! Dr. Kane is incredibly thorough in his explanations, gentle, and because of his background in massage therapy, also gives a good massage! He has even given me a little extra time when he didn't have an appointment after me. I am so happy with this office and would totally recommend it! The only downside is that my insurance doesn't cover this, so the out of pocket expenses can be pricey. Also, the check-in system they use can take up too much of my time and be somewhat confusing at first. read more

Dr. York is like an espresso shot of 100% pure and concentrated joy. He is such a pleasure to be around. He is seriously focused on fixing the issue that causes my pain, but when that's taken care of, I enjoy his happy and humorous temperament. He and the staff at Advanced Chiropractic have enabled me to suit-up and show up to an active life, filled with wonderful experiences and memories that could not be enjoyed without his dedicated, compassionate, and skillful care over the years. I am a paraplegic, and in he first few years I was worried that I wouldn't have the ability to focus on anything other than my disability and how I would live with it. Because of Dr York's experience, knowledge, and wisdom, I was able to get off very strong pain medications and other substances. I try to see him 3x a week, so that I can maximize the amount of things I can accomplish. With his work on my upper left scapula/rhomboid area (intermittent shooting/cramping/severe pain), my lower lumbar area (constant dull achy), my lower back on the right side (frequent neuropathic itchy/burning pain) -- I don't just survive my disability -- I thrive! The immediate results I get are such a relief, and I don't have to worry about pain while I'm out and about with friends and family, errands, volunteer work, or trying to get to sleep the night before doing it all over again. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR YORK! You changed my life, not just with the physical pain and posture, but your knowledge, wisdom, and guidance has been infinitely beneficial. If you are experiencing any pain, make an appointment with Dr. York immediately. If you're taking medications that aren't working, but you're dependent on them, I believe that Dr. York's treatments will make it possible and easier to get off of them. If you exercise a lot and seem to be doing everything right, and still have pain, see Dr York. If you're asking yourself if you have to see the chiropractor as much as I do to get results, I assume that is not true, because I use a wheelchair 24/7, so as soon as I get back into it, I'm already slowly beginning to chip away at the proverbial mess he just put back together. I think if I could walk, his treatments would yield very long lasting results if not completely resolve the alignment issues I have. But the treatments are absolutely divine themselves, getting my spine back in check is better than any luxury massage. But I'm not a doctor, just a patient who feels very compelled to document my miraculous experience. He has a variety of methods and tools that he will use with complete expertise. My favorite treatments are when he uses this artificially-intelligent jack-hammer up and down my spine and in all the reported problem areas, and the problem areas that he discovers. It feels AMAZING! If you have any questions about my experience with Dr. York, I would love to share more. 805-451-0612 -- text is best! Or email: lindsaybovshow@gmail.com read more

Dr. Jim Cochran is the best! He helped my neck & back after a bad car accident, and I've been back to him recently because of my shoulder pain. He's got some moves other chiropractors don't. He popped my shoulder back into place twice now and I feel like i'm standing up straighter and have better posture. I recommend him to all my friends. He's very knowledgeable and also well traveled, so I enjoy going to my adjustments. Great energy. The staff at the front desk is always very helpful too. I'll never go anywhere else! read more

Love this spot, my go too when I'm in pain. Always come out feeling better, best in town.

Been in a few times with Dr Butler. I been having the same back pain for months. I go in he pops a couple things then looks at me very nervous, as if he hoped it worked. Never gives any thorough explanation as to time tables for improvements, thoughts about the causes, or any in depth chiropractic talk. I think he may have got his degree online. My pain is gone for a day or two, sometimes I only experience relief for a couple hours after my visits. The pain always returns, so I am on to the next chiropractic place! read more

Going to see Dr. York was such a great idea! I've never seen a chiropractor before but I could no longer deal with the pain in my neck. I have been a patient of Dr. York's for the past 18 years. When I first went to see him, I had such bad back pain I could hardly bend over, sleep or exercise. After just a few gentle treatments, my back didn't hurt! Now I see him only once or twice a year and I am pain free! When things begin to get tight in my back I go to him and he straightens things out. He is wonderful and he has many gentle techniques. If you don't want to be "crunched" he won't! Go see him! He will help you to feel so much better! read more

Dr. York is really great. He's helped me with an issue I had for over a year. Definitely recommend him.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Cochran for years now... he does amazing work! In times of injury, he listens intently and then carefully makes the adjustments. When we are all straight and haven't seen him in a few months he is always welcoming with a smile on his face with stories of travels...which I love as a distraction! The front office staff are very friendly too! Thanks to everyone!! read more

Dr. Cochran is amazing. I was referred to the doctors at Advanced Chiropractic. I decided to use Dr. Cochran and I'm glad I did.
