This is my first experience with chiropractic work so take my opinions with that in mind. I went in with moderate neck and shoulder pain. I've experienced this for over a year. Massages never work for me, nor do massage chairs. So I made an appointment with Doctor Cochran. It was a good appointment, they get the "what's ailing you" questions out of the way on a computer before you see the doctor so he has all the info when you walk in. I spoke with him for a few minutes and then he did a few adjustments on my neck, used 2 massagers on my back, adjusted my shoulders and then he was done. This appointment was about 3 minutes longer than the following 8 minute appointments I booked. I felt better for about an hour and then was back to my usual discomfort. At my second appointment they let me try their massage table for free but let me know if I wanted to use it at future appointments, it'd be $10. Not at all worth it in my opinion. After my second adjustment 2 days later I did feel much better! That lasted for a few days, but I was unable to get back in for another appointment until about 10 days later. By then I was in pain again. The third and fourth appointments did virtually nothing. The doctor did the exact same thing on me every time I went in, and only added a new tool when I mentioned that I was in more pain after my third appointment. I have to pay $20 after insurance to go, and in my opinion this experience wasn't worth the $80 investment. I purchased a special pillow recently and that's done more for me than this did. Dr Cochran is a nice man, no complaints to him or his staff. Seems this may not be for me, but I do wish I'd gotten a bit more catered treatment rather than the get in and out appointments I experienced. If you're experienced with chiropractic work and know what to look for I'd check this out. read more

This is the place to go! I had never been to a chiropractor before, I was able to get a same day appointment with Dr. James Cochran. I came in with pain so bad I could hardly breath and by the next day I was completely fixed up! He and his staff were all so wonderful, they all knew my name each time I came in (only twice, once for my original appointment and again for a follow up 2 days later) and they were all very kind and helpful. I saw Dr. York as a new patient and was extremely disappointed. He called me Sweetie Pie and said he enjoyed flirting with old women and they enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy it one bit. He said a couple more sexually inappropriate remarks. He was also very rough, didn't stop when I said it was too rough, just laughed and said almost done! Let me preface by saying I was a 7/10 on the pain scale before seeing Dr.Cochran. I was in constant pain and had to give up my love of golf. The care of Dr. Cochran lowered my pain within six weeks to 1/10. After being in such pain, for so long I can't show my appreciation for how wonderful this man is. I've seen Dr. Larsen for the better part of the last 2 years and have had a great experience. He's helped me off and on with neck, back and shoulder pain. Dr. Larson is the BEST! I was involved in a three auto accident last December (2015), and I started coming to this place for treatment. I was initially Dr. Cochran's patient - treatment wasn't great (he actually hurt me during my first visit, when he pulled my foot and further injured my lower back). He casually made racist comments, which I could generally ignore, until he thought it was acceptable to say El Chapo looked like his gardener. I was livid. I was prepared to leave and never return. One of the receptionists called me to confirm my next appointment, and I explained that I would be looking for another chiropractor because of the disturbing comments Dr. Cochran made. She was super sweet (just like the rest of the staff there, who are always awesome, btw!) and she asked if I would consider being treated by Dr. Larson - wow, am I glad she asked! Dr. Larson is extremely professional and super knowledgeable; he was very careful with my injuries, and he was very thorough every time he treated me, actually taking the time to explain what he was doing and how it would help me in my recovery. I had been battling severe neck and back pain for weeks and was hesitant to go see a chiropractor but I was miserable and frankly out of options as medications, massage, Ice and heat were not working. I was nervous as I had never been to a chiropractor before but Dr. Cochran was very friendly and explained exactly what he was going to do so that could relax. He listened to my issues and immediately knew what to do as far as treatment. I have been seeing him twice a week for 3 weeks and I am PAIN FREE!! Dr. Jim Cochran is the best! He helped my neck & back after a bad car accident, and I've been back to him recently because of my shoulder pain. He's got some moves other chiropractors don't. He popped my shoulder back into place twice now and I feel like i'm standing up straighter and have better posture. I recommend him to all my friends. I've been seeing Dr. Kane (preceptee under Dr. H) for a couple months now. I had a very bad back injury and months of physical therapy and acupuncture didn't get me ANYWHERE the healing progress as chiropractic care did! Dr. Kane is incredibly thorough in his explanations, gentle, and because of his background in massage therapy, also gives a good massage! He has even given me a little extra time when he didn't have an appointment after me. I am so happy with this office and would totally recommend it! The only downside is that my insurance doesn't cover this, so the out of pocket expenses can be pricey. Also, the check-in system they use can take up too much of my time and be somewhat confusing at first. read more

Dr. York is like an espresso shot of 100% pure and concentrated joy. He is such a pleasure to be around. He is seriously focused on fixing the issue that causes my pain, but when that's taken care of, I enjoy his happy and humorous temperament. He and the staff at Advanced Chiropractic have enabled me to suit-up and show up to an active life, filled with wonderful experiences and memories that could not be enjoyed without his dedicated, compassionate, and skillful care over the years. I am a paraplegic, and in he first few years I was worried that I wouldn't have the ability to focus on anything other than my disability and how I would live with it. Because of Dr York's experience, knowledge, and wisdom, I was able to get off very strong pain medications and other substances. I try to see him 3x a week, so that I can maximize the amount of things I can accomplish. With his work on my upper left scapula/rhomboid area (intermittent shooting/cramping/severe pain), my lower lumbar area (constant dull achy), my lower back on the right side (frequent neuropathic itchy/burning pain) -- I don't just survive my disability -- I thrive! The immediate results I get are such a relief, and I don't have to worry about pain while I'm out and about with friends and family, errands, volunteer work, or trying to get to sleep the night before doing it all over again. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR YORK! You changed my life, not just with the physical pain and posture, but your knowledge, wisdom, and guidance has been infinitely beneficial. If you are experiencing any pain, make an appointment with Dr. York immediately. If you're taking medications that aren't working, but you're dependent on them, I believe that Dr. York's treatments will make it possible and easier to get off of them. If you exercise a lot and seem to be doing everything right, and still have pain, see Dr York. If you're asking yourself if you have to see the chiropractor as much as I do to get results, I assume that is not true, because I use a wheelchair 24/7, so as soon as I get back into it, I'm already slowly beginning to chip away at the proverbial mess he just put back together. I think if I could walk, his treatments would yield very long lasting results if not completely resolve the alignment issues I have. But the treatments are absolutely divine themselves, getting my spine back in check is better than any luxury massage. But I'm not a doctor, just a patient who feels very compelled to document my miraculous experience. He has a variety of methods and tools that he will use with complete expertise. My favorite treatments are when he uses this artificially-intelligent jack-hammer up and down my spine and in all the reported problem areas, and the problem areas that he discovers. Been in a few times with Dr Butler. I been having the same back pain for months. I go in he pops a couple things then looks at me very nervous, as if he hoped it worked. Never gives any thorough explanation as to time tables for improvements, thoughts about the causes, or any in depth chiropractic talk. I think he may have got his degree online. My pain is gone for a day or two, sometimes I only experience relief for a couple hours after my visits. The pain always returns, so I am on to the next chiropractic place! read more

I have been a patient of Dr. York's for the past 18 years. When I first went to see him, I had such bad back pain I could hardly bend over, sleep or exercise. After just a few gentle treatments, my back didn't hurt! Now I see him only once or twice a year and I am pain free!
