He was kind and super efficient both times, gave me tips for how to prevent it, and even gave me supplies for aftercare. However, I'm giving his business two stars because of the receptionists in the front. Even though I had a referral from my doctor, and showed them my insurance card, they refused to take it, making me pay over $500 out of pocket. They never asked me over the phone for my insurance, nor when I arrived 15 minutes ahead of time for my appointment, even though this is standard procedure at literally every medical office I've ever been to. I'm not sure if they assumed that because I paid out of pocket the first time, I would do it again (didn't have insurance at that time), but I hadn't been to the center in over *2 years*. It's just so weird that they didn't think to double-check, and then they proceeded to blame me for not bringing it up, giving me an attitude and everything. Based on the whole experience, I really should give one star but Dr. Weingarten was great, so two stars it is.

With science camp approaching the following week, I was genuinely worried about how I would manage all the walking. From the moment I contacted Dr. Aslmand's office, I was impressed by how quickly they were able to schedule my appointment. The visit itself was incredibly efficient and thorough. Within about 40 minutes, X-rays were completed, I received a cortisone injection, and Dr. Aslmand took the time to teach me how to properly tape my foot. He also recommended supportive shoes and provided a night splint to aid in my recovery. The most remarkable part? I walked out of the office completely pain-free and I've remained that way ever since. To call Dr. Aslmand a miracle worker would honestly be an understatement. I am beyond grateful for his expertise and the care provided by his entire staff. If you are experiencing foot pain, I wholeheartedly encourage you to contact his office you will be in excellent hands!

The only issue I have that is ultimately stopping me from going is the lack of time management combined with a strict 15 minute grace period. Every time I've gone, I've had to wait 25-45 minutes just to be taken to a room, then continue to wait longer before seeing a doctor. It didn't bother me until today, when I was running 15-17 minutes late. I called, and they said if I get there by 4:30, we could keep the appointment, but otherwise, we would need to reschedule. That's such a slap in the face, given I had NEVER been so much as brought to a room within 15 minutes. If you're going to be that strict with a grace period, you should also be equally as strict with prompt service times. Very disappointed. If that doesn't bother you, then this office will be a great option for your podiatry needs.

Dr. Ornelas is AMAZING. I have been suffering with the pain of ingrown nails on my big toes for…read moreapprox. 20 years. Sometimes my pedicurist would be able to dig the ingrown out, but most times not. I learned of a procedure that could permanently alleviate the ingrown nails and thus the pain. I went online and was debating between two practices, but based on the Yelp reviews and people ecstatic with the relief of my similar problem, the choice was easy. I went in at 11:30am on Monday. I'm thinking this is probably going to be a place where they suggest various alternatives and would take months to resolve the actual problem. I was so wrong. Dr. Ornelas confirmed my ingrowns. She then said, "We can take care of the problem right now, if you wish". I'm thinking did I hear right. No unnecessary alternatives, no wasting months down the road. I was in shock. I replied, "You mean right now?" Obviously thinking I didn't hear her right the first time. "Yes. Right now, if you wish". She thoroughly explained the procedure. I then said "Heck yes". I wish the my dentist would have filled my cavity right away instead of making me come back 3 weeks later. Anyway, the numbing shots on the toes were tolerable. My ingrown nails were removed. I was out of the office in less than an hour. The follow up is just soaking the feet a couple of times a day, apply Neosporin and bandaids, and return in two weeks. The was post surgical pain was minor. You could take Tylenol or Ibuprofen if needed. I am over the moon so far with the results. I felt stupid not doing this sooner. I had it done Monday. It is now Thursday. Sandals are still more comfortable. However aside from that, there has not been any disruption in my life. Dr. Ornelas was kind, professional and confident. She didn't seem to mind that I babbled through the entire procedure. I am grateful for this practice and looking forward to pain free pedicures and pain free big toes in the near future. A sincere Thank you!
