When we called yesterday to have it reconnected, we were told there would be no charge--which made sense, considering they didn't complete the job properly the first time. Then today, out of nowhere, they tried to charge us $900 to reconnect it--claiming that because a "third party" removed the water heater, our warranty was void. Funny how that wasn't an issue when the water mitigation company removed it, and they never brought it up before. This feels like nothing more than a bait-and-switch combined with price gouging. It's unacceptable to treat customers this way--especially when the original job wasn't done correctly to begin with. I would never use Cactus Valley Plumbing again and absolutely do not recommend them. Dishonest, overpriced, and completely lacking in accountability.

Knockout was VERY RESPONSIVE and had a tech out early the next day. Very professional, quickly diagnosed leaking heat exchangers from the cheap builder installed tankless hot water heater. Of course out of warranty, so we discussed the most cost effective and quality options and I decided to have the unit replaced with a more efficient, modern unit with a full 15-year warranty. My tech went to their warehouse and picked up the unit, and within an hour was back and at work pulling down the old unit and installing the new one, complete with all new copper piping. All done after a couple hours and I was so impressed, had him service my under counter water filtration system in kitchen. He cleaned everything up and we walked the home together making sure everything was working. YES!!!! HOT WATER EVERYWHERE!!! And while I don't like having to spend $$$$$ on home repairs, I feel like I got gold treatment in terms of quality, responsiveness and warranty. Super satisfied.
