MARK was the driver's name, in Spokane Washington, and he drove a black Toyota Highlander (MADTOUR). I called Lyft for a client who was a concert promoter whose cell phone had died (and while I was working as a ticket take at the concert). Within a few minutes I received a text that the passenger should be waiting across the road. The client went across the road while, when he got there, the Lyft driver pulled up on the other (opposite) wrong side of the road. He called my number when he got there and the phone number is DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS. What? Not only am I at work, I can't answer my phone, nor would I answer a call from Illinois since I know no one from that state. After the second call I did return the call thinking it might be Lyft. Sure enough and he said he was there and I told him she was right where he told her to be but I would run down and get her and bring her over to him. So I ran the one block to where the customer was standing and waiting and told her to come back across the street because he arrived on the wrong side. She walked across the street and he rolled down his window and told her he cancelled the ride because he had been waiting 6 minutes! This was HIS mistake, the customer was right where he told her to be. He had a choice, he could have been nice, or he could be an asshole, and he chose the latter (plus charging her a five dollar fee for missing a ride) (she didn't she was where she was instructed to wait). This is the face he put on LYFT, and subsequently I will NEVER use Lyft again. He is a cancer on the face of the LYFT company and if LYFT doesn't care about their image, I don't care to use them. Just as he had a choice, so do I and I choose to NEVER USE LYFT IN THE FUTURE. By reading this review I hope to save others getting burned by this Lyft driver in Spokane, Washington, Mark. Use UBER or call a TAXI, Lyft cannot be trusted to treat their customers with respect or kindness. WE ALL HAVE CHOICES. read more
