Thank god for Lyft in the Spokane area! My bestie and I were able to travel around town at a reasonable price without a car, thanks to Lyft. We took it a few times the four days we were staying in Spokane and had a perfect experience each and every time. Compared to using Lyft in other cities, it seems that the Lyft service in the Spokane area was much better. We never waited more than five minutes for a ride, no cancellations, all rides were very affordable and all our drivers were very, very friendly and social. Since I live in the Seattle area I've taken Lyft and it's hit and miss at times. But such was not the case here. And I should add that when switching it up with Uber, Lyft saved us. On one day we requested an Uber driver and he ended up driving further and further away from us, even though he was committed to picking us up. Ridiculous! We canceled the request and Lyft was able to pick us up immediately after canceling with Uber. I'm glad we were able to easily get around through Lyft. It was fast and affordable, and all of the drivers were very personable and helpful. This is a great share ride service in the Spokane area. read more

My teen was stranded unexpectedly at about 4:00 pm on a Wednesday. I had previously used Lyft in another state & it worked well. In Spokane, it was an awful experience. First, the app said the driver would be there in about 60 minutes. Okay, fair enough, maybe no one in the area. It wasn't great that my teen was stuck on the side of the road but we were willing to wait. Then about 40 minutes into our wait, the app changed the driver time to more than an hour more. That worried me. Then at 6:00 pm, our request for a Lyft was just deleted from the app. My teen was where there were no buses, no cars going by, no one we knew who could go get them, & now no Lyft after waiting for 2 hours. This is a horrible business/app to rely on. Don't use it. read more

Do not use Lyft in the Spokane area. In particular with a driver called Alejandro. This person lied and said I had a open alcohol container in his car. At 5 in the afternoon, on the way out! The evidence provided was a wet car seat. No alcohol in site. The Damages team at Lyft are a disgrace and your are not even able to speak to them on the phone to plead your case! They just take your money out of your bank up to $250! And there is nothing you can do about it. I have been robbed by one of the biggest companies in the US. Their customer service is despicable. I have never felt let down by a business before but Lyft has taken the first spot. Please protect yourselves and do not use this driver. I take public transportation for work and got somewhat stranded because the bus quit running early on Sunday and I called on LYFT. A new experience and was very easy to use their system. Several cars close by and I had a ride home in 10 minutes. 4 mile ride - 12 bucks with a tip. Have used them several times since. Decent cars and the drivers have been cool for the most part. This is the best way to get around town if you are in need of a quick ride. The prices are insanely cheap and you get picked up almost immediately upon summoning the ride through the app. Do not heed the negative tips, they are inaccurate. I have used lyft over 10 times and there has always been a positive experience! Perhaps they dont have the cab license restrictions, however they have much stricter standards for drivers. do not use lyft anymore, i do not feel that it is as safe as a cab. They do not fingerprint drivers, they do not drug test, some cars smell and drivers cannot speak English.
