Once I added hot sauce, honey, salt, and pepper, it brought the chicken to life and tasted much better. My daughter ordered the smothered chicken and biscuits, butter biscuits topped with cheesy eggs, fried chicken, and cajun cream sauce. The picture below may not look the most appetizing, but don't let that fool you because this dish was packed with flavor! The only downside was the eggs were a bit overcooked. They would also come up as previously ordered and allow me to order them again, not just as an add on. Today I decided to do some research and get the details on this great new option. The explanation was that Amazon has rolled out a new feature for Amazon Prime customers in selected markets. Groceries come from the Amazon Fresh Delivery Center. Same or next day delivery is offered as long as a customer orders before the daily cutoff time. As long as one orders the minimum amount the delivery is free. For orders below that amount there is a $2.99 charge. Non Prime Customers pay $12.99. If you go to the Grocery section of the Amazon App, the choices are Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods. But if you choose Fresh there are only a few items that only come with a monthly Fresh Membership. Most of the items are available for purchase through the new feature. When you place an order there are three delivery windows. One begins as early as 4am. I usually choose the 10-3 time slot. I'm using the grocery feature often. The products are quality. They're packed well in insulated bags with a frozen Amazon Purified Water bottle inside to assure the bag remains cold. Best of all, many are my favorite grocery items are available, some that are constant "out of stock" items at other stores. This is a great feature. I'm happy to have learned its story.
